I don’t know how model s justify the high price compared to model 3. I wanted to buy one. But it’s too much more expensive and doesn’t have enough extras.
The refreshed Model 3 was code named Project Highland during development. So the Model 3 highland represents the new model 3 for years that share production of the old model 3s. But the site will only show the new model, no need for the “highland” tag. Model 3 Highland brings a longer driving range, lower production costs, technical improvements, and a restyled exterior and interior

During development, the refresh was codenamed "Project Highland". Like how the earlier Model 3s were “Project BlueStar” Building permits filed in the city of Fermont have referenced “highland” dating back to June of 2023. Highland has also shown up on official Tesla parts catalogs and shipping labels for oem parts used specifically on the refreshed model 3. Tesla employees in a Norway event also referenced the revamped model 3 as the Highland.

Just had my 2023 MSP Steering Wheel replaced under warranty with the new center horn variant, love it!
We still need ambient lighting, headphones display, heating and cooling for coffee cups, rear hatch needs to improve .
