It would have been good to show what you do on the keyboard as well, cause I have never used PP before and can't even draw a shape... also what key are you pressing when moving over the selected area and what are what you are doing after that on the console, bicause just like this it does not help at all.

Why is it that it would move the location of the area at first but when i try to make it go a bit higher it would suddenly move the entire video instead of just the selected part?

Maybe check the playhead (the vertical blue line)? If it's at all zeros when you change the position value, the entire layer moves. Play your video a bit to move the playhead then pause. Then try moving the selected section again.

I just found your channel as I was looking to make my iPad mini 5 as a camera/ video monitor for mounting on camera, I have several cameras, Fuji, Olympus/OM and DSLRs Nikon and canon but realised your video was about in studio and Sony, of course I release the methodology will probably be the same, imaging Edge and see that you do a lot on Final Cut, any advice or directions as to needs would be greatly appreciated. Regards David

nice...but would be nice to also explain why this works, not just show how it works.

Thank you! Yes you're right, so it works because you're replacing a section with a part of tyhe video that looks exactly the same, so it blends really nicely
