Julie, my family and I absolutely LOVED this recipe! It’s now a new favorite!
I’m going to give you a tip to make that cobbler a little bit healthier.. just use one can of pie filling and then add a couple of fresh peaches or a drain can of peaches packed in juice or light syrup… less sugar taste peachier…. Really delicious. I’ve been doing this for years and it works perfectly.

Never enough new Crockpot recipes! Thanks Julia. I got my first crockpot 39 yrs ago as a wedding gift, and never looked back. I now own 3. I make a lot of recipes using frozen chicken & frozen meatballs. Tonight despite it being summer, I have a taste for fall foods. Smoked sausage & sauerkraut is what's for dinner. 🙂
P.S. that almost 40 yr old Rival ™️- is still making great meals. Has lasted longer than the marriage did, and I'm still in love with it. 🤩

I also have a rival I was married in 1977 that's how long I had mine and just discovered it about 8 months ago brand new
I am currently very blessed to be in a position where I don't have to food budget BUT I still want to say that watching your videos has me saving recipes and taking notes regardless. My grandma always taught me that you need to be prepared for life ever getting turned on its head so I just wanted to say THANK YOU for doing what you do!

I'd still encourage you to food budget...and put the extra away... you never know especially in our current world how fast things can change...no I'm not saying go extreme...but figuring out your normal spend and then cut back some.... and see make it a game... what can I do for less? How long can we go without hitting the store to use stuff up.
I'm now dealing with that change & I unfortunately got comfortable with not having to budget for groceries etc I'd walk into a store & just grab whatever I wanted without really checking prices. My husband's health has affected our income since he can't work like he once did & now I'm living week to week. Budgeting is NOT my strong suit or meal planning for the weeks ahead 🤣 So I'm thankful for Julia's videos because I've already tried a few! _Please please_ budget even if you don't really "have to" & bank what you've saved from it! You will be glad you did & won't be in my position!! 💯🥰

Shaved beef also works really well with that ramen recipe! That way you don’t have to cook it on the stove beforehand, it’ll cook fully in the slow cooker!

For the cobbler, you can mix and match pie filling and cake mix flavors. Apple pie filling with spice cake mix, blueberry pie filling with lemon cake mix, or cherry pie filling with chocolate cake mix are all good combinations. Thanks for these easy, delicious recipes!

I absolutely _love_ how you include the time breaks and labels for each recipe, plus a "Table of Contents" - style list of recipes at the top of the description. That is SO extraordinarily helpful. If I see someone else's 20 min cooking video with no time-hacks, which means hunting back and forth for the start of a recipe, then forget it. Please keep up not just the delicious recipes, but the excellent production values.

That little white crockpot is my favorite. It is just the right size for 2 of us. I make a lot of half-size recipes so rarely use my larger slow cooker anymore.

Just made the beef teryaki ramen for lunch. it was a huge HIT!! I could eat the hole crockpot of it myself, but the true compliment is that my very picky elderly mother just cleaned her plate! THANKS so much for these recipes!

I take it a step further and put my crockpot out on the deck to keep the heat out of the house. I do the same with my air fryer if the weather permits. Thank you for the new recipes, especially the chicken ones! I am always looking for new ways to do up chicken.
Most of the meals she makes you can substitute cubed chicken for ground beef, sausage etc. I use mostly chicken and do this often myself.
That is an awesome idea! I actually did that with my crockpots when I was pregnant with my last baby and was so sick I couldn’t stand the smell of anything🥴 it definitely served both purposes, kept the house even cooler and kept the smell outside🙌🏼

I love using my slow cooker in the summer to avoid a hot oven! But it can definitely be hard to find meals that don’t feel like heavy cold weather meals. This helps!

Julia, I really appreciate your dump and go recipes. I am 70 years old and my wife and I are dealing with significant health issues, so we often don’t feel like cooking. I need to do more slow cooker and pressure cooker meals, as they are simple to make and tasty. Your recipes look so delicious. Thank you so much.

I am in my 60 and have periodic back pain, sciatica, trigger fingers, knee pain so I understand when you say cooking standing on your feet can be difficult. I just cook for myself so one dish meals baked in the oven are my thing and I love my microwave. You can do a frozen Chicken pieces on one end of a glass baking dish, add Broccoli Florets & Onion pieces frozen, bake then remove, and add already sliced Squash put bake in the oven to fully cook. A side of Rice or Rice Cauliflower from the microwave and you have a couple of meals throughout the week.
I often cook a # of Chicken Breasts, Pork Loin or Chops in this dish seasoning them differently so they can be used in a variety of dishes throughout the week. At the end of the week toss leftovers into your crock pot for a soup
