Just starting to do this painting and find your work is so beutiful and lots of tips what to buy. I live in the UK and we don't get all of your paint. Thank you for all your advise and details. I will keep watching you doing your painting and your sister's as well. I have practised some of your work and got lots of good comments. So thank you once again.
Hi Carol, New to your channel. I enjoy watching the outcome of your paintings and look forward to binge watching the other videos you have on your list🤩🇨🇦👍
I’m glad I watched this. I just went out and bought some paint but I didn’t know that you have to mix the colors with anything else. I’m not sure if you want to have too many spoons but 3 t TSP equals 1 TBS. Also, if you can get tho little medication cup, the are 30 ml or 1 oz or 3 TBS
Hi Carol, I’m wondering if you received my contribution to you last week with PayPal. I hope you got it-I love watching and learning from your videos. Your work is beautiful and you are a great teacher. Thank you! Louise Lewis
Thank you so very much Carol for showing us your recipe. It means a lot because all your Blooms are so very beautiful. I am in awe of you and I love watching your videos. Please keep them coming for our enjoyment!
Thank you Carol! I now realize I was using too much polycrylic making my paints too thin. That's probably why I haven't been getting many cells because my paints are about the same consistency as my cell activator. Back to the drawing board to see if I can correct my mistake. Thanks again!
Hi, Carole just wanted to thank you for this great mixing video. I am just starting my flow journey so was very helpful...... and I loved the use of a white tile for the base and your spin technique ...... thanks for sharing
I'm trying the polycrylic paint PM today. Could I also make the water with Poly in it- Like the Jo water? I just finished the shelee art course, but I'm hoping poly/ water can work until I get my Josonia
I mixed a pouring medium using what I hope are equivalent English paint base and varnish. Tried it out yesterday (thinned with water). It worked nicely but it cracked when dry. Can you suggest anything that mught prevent the cracking, please?
@@CarolePenhaleKing Thanks for your reply, Carole. I tried adding more base paint to the pouring medium last night, then poured on top of a white housepaint pillow. I was amazed - the housepaint seemed to fizz up fast, forming so many cells they almost covered the colours! (No floetrol.) Looked quite pretty this morning, but hardly a work of art! I'm a beginner, so I'll keep trying!
Hi Carol, I am in Canada as well. I was wondering if you have given any thought to a replacement for the Behr 8300 now that it has found to be thinner mix? I know this is an old video so I hope you see my question.
Wanda, ,, Im pretty new to but it is badically the measurement that you are using at that time. She was using a teaspoon. So 1 part is 1 teaspoon and 3 parts is 3 teaspoons. Could be oz or tablespoons or even 1/3 of a cup. 1 part is 1/3 of a cup 3 parts is 3/3 of a cup or 1cup.
Caroi, asa per 1068, Mixing Video, it appears you mixture is 2 parts Behr Interior/exterior Hi Gloss enamel (no color) and 1 part water base polycrylic clear gloss. I've never mixed an oil base product with a water base product. Am I understanding this correctly?
Results were beautiful! It would make watching much more enjoyable if so much time wasn’t spent watching you make decisions that could be made prior to starting.
Happy New Year

Its called the worlds smallest blower. Try amazon or etsy
Carole this is beautiful... do you seal the art for a high gloss finish? Thanks...
Sometimes
Gorgeous!! Thanks for the recipes! I didnt hear the recipes for the black/white cell activators can I find those somewhere? Thanks much!
In My description under the video there is a drop down. I will be doing a mixing for cell activator too soon.
I'm trying the polycrylic paint PM today. Could I also make the water with Poly in it- Like the Jo water?
I just finished the shelee art course, but I'm hoping poly/ water can work until I get my Josonia
sure it should be fine.
@@CarolePenhaleKing my Aus floetrol arrived!!!! I'm so excited.
Is the polycrylic water based
Yes, it should say on the can.
Do you mix the 8300 at all before using?
No
@@CarolePenhaleKing thank you
I am looking at the polyurethane mini wax and I just would like to know if it is the water based one.
I cannot hear very well; I could have missed it.
Yes i use water based
Could you show what the back of the tile looks like? How do you remove the extra paint?
I will clean it off when wet as much as I can. Then I can cover with cork for coasters, sometimes I tape the back.
Happy New year! Your pillow what kind of paint is that? The varnish for the water what kind is that?
pillow is glidden premium eggshell. you can add any varnish to the water. mine is joSonja or Minwax polycrylic
I mixed a pouring medium using what I hope are equivalent English paint base and varnish. Tried it out yesterday (thinned with water). It worked nicely but it cracked when dry. Can you suggest anything that mught prevent the cracking, please?
Maybe it was too thin, and it dried to fast if it was warm.
Maybe a bit of floetrol might help. Im not too sure.

Im not sure i still have and older thick can. Maybe Lisa Marvin can help shes in canada
@@CarolePenhaleKing Yes, she is doing lots of experiments right now. Thank you!!
Does the Minwax Polycrylic have a smell?
no not really.
Hi Carole, what type (brand( blower are you using? TIA
worlds smallest blower on amazon
Are all the paints water based?
Yes
Hi I keep hearing about cell activators.???what is it exactly?
Its what make the cells, Australian floetrol and Amsterdam white or black paint
What does the varnish do
It helps dont know exactly.
I’m new to this artistry, can you tell me what is the definition of 1 part???
Wanda, ,, Im pretty new to but it is badically the measurement that you are using at that time. She was using a teaspoon. So 1 part is 1 teaspoon and 3 parts is 3 teaspoons. Could be oz or tablespoons or even 1/3 of a cup. 1 part is 1/3 of a cup

The mixture is correct, but the polycrylic should be water base.
I'd put them on a bird house.
Thanks
33 MINUTES??? R U KIDDING????
