Another thing: The boss is an ai. The reason pvp is much harder than pve is that in pve, even if the attacks are randomized, you can still get used to them and counter them or dodge them entirely. In pvp however, humans are quite unpredictable. Ai's will usually target you directly or to the side of you a certain amount, and humans dont have that level of precision, making it hard to dodge, or just an easy win.
Unless you’re facing someone who is used to many weapons and switches constantly, most people fall into a pattern and you can read what they’re biased towards doing.
A good rule to face human uncertainty is to imagine a red circle around the adversary ; the length of the circle equals the range of the weapon ; constantly update in imagination the circle as the relative position of the adversary changes. Go in the circle to bait an attack, get out to get out of reach and punish the baited attack. In short, it’s not about predicting a static AI, but about manipulating a dynamic AI (another player can be considered as an AI who is dynamic, that is to say reacts and adapts, just like you, to it’s adversary)
Another tip is to be aware that the intentions of the adversary can be manipulated through footwork. For noobs, footwork has a global meaning : if the adversary comes close, he’s likely to attack, and if he goes away from you, he’s either trying to escape from you or either trying to out space you. But you can use the footwork of the adversary to predict with great precision the moment he attacks. For this, it is necessary to be conscious of how your movement affects the movement of the opponent, and likewise how your movement is affected by the movement of the adversary. If he goes away from you, are you going forward or backward ? Provided you were going forward, what happens if you go backward ? Or is he applying pressure (applying pressure = not reacting to what you do, as if it had no meaning, and trying to make you react) ? Or is he just inattentive ? Other subject, does the opponent has an out space pattern of backward and forward ? Most good players, having a backward-forward flow, break their flow by attacking in the backward phase, because it’s obviously less predictable. If you suddenly put pressure, you’ll force them to break their flow sooner than they ideally wanted (because if they don’t, you are too close and they are in danger, so they need to initiate an attack to reject your pressure) and you can predict that by punishing this anti-pressure/defensive attack.
With these two tips you can defeat every mid-tier, low-tier, and pve players. High-tier involves pressure and hard swaps, which puts this passive out space strategy into difficulties (still extremely good, but you can’t sit on it, you need to diversify)

I can’t believe more people aren’t talking about the edit starting at 1:07. The way you set it up with timing the song so that the beat drop just… stops right when the parry hits was such an effective way of breaking the momentum. The best films show rather than tell, and honestly I’m kinda losing my mind at how effectively you pulled that off.

Hello, I am a longtime fan and I wanted to say thank you for what you have done for this community. I also wanted to say that I can now offically solo Melania.

Oh my gosh, is that Let Me Solo You? It's said he can force your hand in any situation, regardless of what you do, and he's even forged a pact with the gluttonous demon known as gravity! It's a little known secret, but his final attack is a suicide bomb that can wipe an entire level off of the map. He was going to end Caelid's existence, but decided to be merciful and let Malenia, a much weaker being, incapacitate the region with infinitely less lethality. The reason I know that little chunk of lore is because of his repetitive battle cry, which states that he is on the very brink of exploding, yet not quite there. So he remains, perpetually blueballing himself by unleashing his anger on anyone who crosses his path, just so he doesn't truly explode and inflict far more harm. He seems malevolent, but is actually something of a tragic hero through those actions. But what do you think? Is his existence an evil on its own, or is he just doing the best he can under difficult circumstances? Either way, one thing's for sure. If you ever see a shiny object on the ground, a spare gift or a colorfully lit elevator, run. Run like the wind, and never look back, because he'll always be right there, a bomb about to blow up.

I wanna see someone recreate Giant Dad in elden ring
Helmet swap head piece, tree sentinel armor, flame art/fire zwei and the turtle shield is pretty good. Maybe slap on wolf ring for more poise

@@jakatak5764 yeah, old ds3 ring for poise. I get ds3 and ER things mixed up all the time. Wolf ring just gave you more poise and bullgoat Talisman also performs similarly. Poise pretty much dictates your battles in this game, so it is pretty good >60 poise

I honestly think that powerstance katana crouch L1 is really good for PVP. It's quick, has really good range (depending on what katanas you're using) and hits decently hard.

I think the biggest or one of the important reasons he keeps winning is he takes control of the battle as soon as he can and nobody holds that control and either puts him on the defensive or luring him in so your in control of the battle and the only to mess that up is miss stepping or doing something that relinquishes the control to him

This video was great! When I saw the question pop up I know ppl would underestimate let me solo her. What they need to remember is that he didn't start off a badass but worked his way there through trial and error. A true man of focus commitment and sheer F*cking will, and if he wants to be a pvp god next give him some practice runs and he'll get there.

I will say there IS like a trained sense for combat in the PvP the rest of the game can't teach you like popping someone's bubble tears with the spread knives, backstep attacks, true combos, and what is or isn't parriable. Good montage!

We have to think about that question differently, While all the comments about dad are correct you have to consider the lengths and tenacity of lmsh. The pure energy he exudes and dedication to master attack patters and dodges is staggering. If they fought a thousand battles I bet the win loss would be like a curve graph.
