Oh man, this was ALL OVER the radio back in early 70’s. Vocalist Paul Rodgers went on to be the vocalist for Bad Company. He’s still performing today, I believe
Great song, Paul Rodgers is one of the best rock voices of all time. Try "Wishing Well", just as good. Also, have a look at some of the songs he did with Bad Company, particularly "Shooting Star" and "Feel Like Makin' Love".
Oh the memories this brings back from the carefree summer of 1970 when i was 14 years old. I was so obsessed with this song practically wore out my 45 playing it over and over and over.......... ❤
I've been a rocker for years, and if there is ONE singer I wish I could sing like, it is absolutely Paul Rodgers. And this band (along with Bad Co) did exactly what needed to be done. Almost perfect.
First bought this song on vinyl when it first came out in 1970, still stream it to this day it never ages, Paul Rogers one of the greatest front men ever.
Usually when this song started someone immediately yelled "Turn it up!!!". Pretty much played every summer to get things rolling. Part of the cowbell club.
Now check out Bad Company… Feel Like Making Love; Shooting Star; Bad Company; Can’t Get Enough; Rock N Roll Fantasy; Ready For Love; Moving On; and the beautiful Seagull. One of the golden-voiced “Paul’s” in rock n roll royalty. Paul Rodger’s is one of those vocalists that are so genuine that his live performances sometimes surpass the studio recordings.
🇬🇧 Paul Rogers toured with Queen & fronted the band for a while after Freddie Mercury passed away❤. He has just an amazing voice. Love this song, and it has one the most recognisable riffs ever. 🎸🔥🎼
You need to check out Free “Wishing Well” too, that’s my fave of their’s … also take a look at Paul Rodgers when he was performing with Queen - the live concert Ukraine 2008 is especially good. Best wishes Lesa 🇦🇺
I could have sworn you've reacted to Bad Company, in which case people would definitely have mentioned this song and band, but after a search turns out I'm wrong. Too many reactors, hard to keep up with who did what. 🙂 So, you should react to Bad Company. They are up there with the best '70s rock bands. Try _Feel Like Makin' Love,_ _Burnin' Sky,_ _Rock Steady,_ _Can't Get Enough,_ _Movin' On_ ... And about a million others.
Free? What a great band. Paul Rodgers is a great vocalist from the north East of England. Later, Simon Kirke and Paul formed Bad Company with Boz Burrel and Mick Ralph. This was a time when music was worth listening to. Paul Kossoff was exceptional he played with his heart not just his hands. Give Mr. Big a listen
Used to work with a disco in Ireland in the 70s and 80s - couldn't get away without playing ARN - you'd be shot (or grumbled at, at least). FM radio overplayed lots of songs in the 70s - Hey Jude, Stairway, Freebird, Hotel Calif, Bohemian Rhapsody, and this. But this never grew old - and Paul Rodger's voice - straight from Heaven
One of the staples of my Jr High dances as well as Taking Care of Business. What a sensory memory. Dances were held in the gym/lunchroom. Good tunes, nervous stomach, and the smell of dirty gym socks and soured milk...ah sweet memories. 😊
Hello, just stopped by to say we literally stumbled across your reactions. Just wanted to say thx for expanding ur love of music over several decades. I’m a old fart from the 70/80’s, and your willingness to watch and react with respect is notice.. it was a different time 40+ yrs ago. Again, enjoy the 70/80’s… life was simpler than and we hope you pass it on? LOVE YOUR REACTIONS. THX and take care.
I used to run a disco with my mate in the 70's and we might be playing a load f numbers and not many people were bothing to dance or maybe the odd few, here and ther... so we used to bring this out chuck it on the turntable and the floor became packed. It was a guaranteed floor filler.... Just the best. Fabulous song. Kepp on Rocking.
I bought tickets to see Traffic and Free was the opening act. I'd never downplay Traffic or Steve Winwood, but Paul Rodgers stole the show! He had a mini-trampoline on stage and was bouncing all over the place! Great show!
YEAH.....remember it playing on the radio when it came out....and it was a staple on all rock stations during the early and md seventies.......it just never gets old! It still has that hook...it is very catchy and makes you want to groove.......such a shame the guitarist died of a pulmonary embolism on a flight from LA to New York at the age of 25...(Paul Kossoff)
YES! This came out when I was 17, I was O.K. then I saw them at the Isle Of Wight festival & was All Right Then, & now at 73 I am DJing with this & other vinyl 45's in the Green Fields at this years Glastonbury Festival (again) & am All Right Now. Love Light & Music.
Now imagine being a teenager growing up to this in the 70s. And other great music at that time. Now you see why my age group got so burnt out 😂 Loved your reaction, you definitely got it.
I have loved this song 'All Right Now' by Free since I first heard it on the radio in 1970. I still love it. I will always love it. I have it on my phone's playlist _twice_. Paul Rodgers is a year or so (?!) older than me now - I'll be 71 in August '24 - (maybe two years older ?! But _he_ still rocks ❤️🏴🤟!!) 🎵🏴❤️🇬🇧❤️🙂🎵🖖 When Paul played / sang with Queen (before Adam Lambert joined them as frontman), that was an incredible time. There are YT videos of Free, Bad Company, and the years with Queen etc, so you can easily choose to watch Paul's range. The Anerican band led by Steve Miller liked _this_ song so much, he wrote / performed a song which showcased / celebrated the guitar riff which is so instantly recognisable as 'All Right Now', but The Steve Miller Band song* is in a slightly slower tempo. ("Rockin' Me"*) Speaking of Steve Miller, have you Reacted to any of _his_ songs yet? If not, do try out "The Joker" amongst others, and I hope you'll enjoy Steve's songs as much as I do. 🎵🇺🇲🎵 🏴❤️🇬🇧🙂🖖
The Stanford Band would play a cover of this song every time the team scored a touchdown or a field goal back in the 70s and the fans would go wild! You HAD to get up and move to the groove! This song is a classic and brings back great memories!
Paul Rodgers was in Free, Bad Company, The Firm ("Radioactive"), The Law (w/David Gilmour), and Queen after Freddie passed. Also has a great blues album.
Paul Rodgers voice is just gold. Saw them live in 1972 at the Top Rank Sunderland, absolutely fantastic and brought the house down, they were supported by Vinegar Joe (Robert Palmer and Elkie Brooks), a night to remember.
Such a great band, a much underrated one with each of the members a complete tour da force - they should have been as big as Led Zeppelin as they had all the tools to be at that level. Paul Kossoff was a genius, and one of the greatest guitarists of all time. Unfortunately he passed away at such a young age and we never got to hear the directions he might have taken over the coming decades
I still can remember thinking that Rod Stewart was Paul Rodgers when I first heard him singing Maggie May. It's kinda like the way Colin Hay sounds like Sting to me. 🤷♀
One of the great rock songs, Paul Rogers terrific vocals, and Paul Kossoff's greatly underrated guitar playing, plus no fade out on the song, what more can you ask for
A rock anthem. A huge inspiration on later rock bands like AC/DC. Great vocals from Paul Rodgers, pulsing bass and drums holding it tight, and that unforgettable crunchy riff and guitar break by the late, great Paul Kossoff, a legend who left us far too soon. His gravestone's epitaph simply reads "All right now".
I was a major Bad Company fan when I was a teenager in the 70s. Really didn’t know about Free until a buddy mine told me that vocalist Paul Rogers and drummer Simon Kirk came from Free and so then I visited their catalog and I was wow. Bassist Andy Frazier, and guitarist Paul Kossoff
Believe it or not they played in a small venue in my home town of Peterborough uk in the 70 s and the promoter told me they cost him £70 to play the gig ,Was a great night glad I saw them before Paul Kossoff died the lead guitar man .
Oh man, this was ALL OVER the radio back in early 70’s. Vocalist Paul Rodgers went on to be the vocalist for Bad Company. He’s still performing today, I believe
New album recently out
@@colrhodes377 yes, and I love it! 😁
I saw him with Bad Company 3 years ago and his voice is strong as ever!!
Paul Rodgers is one of the Blues and Rock vocalists still performing today. All Right Now is one best blues rock songs ever written.
this was one of the best known songs by people who were teenagers in the 60's and 70's
Paul Rodgers = iconic rock vocalist.
As many times that I've heard this song over the years, I should be tired of it. But I'm not. It's just too damn good.
Great song, Paul Rodgers is one of the best rock voices of all time. Try "Wishing Well", just as good. Also, have a look at some of the songs he did with Bad Company, particularly "Shooting Star" and "Feel Like Makin' Love".
Paul has one of those voices that could sing a menu and make it sound great. Such a prolific talent throughout the history of rock.
One of the top 5 most recognizable hooks in music history. From the first millisecond that the pick hits the strings, you know exactly what’s coming!
Oh the memories this brings back from the carefree summer of 1970 when i was 14 years old. I was so obsessed with this song practically wore out my 45 playing it over and over and over.......... ❤
Hey, I hear you! 1956 for the win! 🙂 (Although I had it all over my audio tapes - pre-cassettes, even - not on vinyl ...)
Was my fav too still have the album mint condition
Heard this a thousand times and can't wait for my next thousand. The guitar break in the middle is celestial, straight from heaven.
Paul Rodgers is on my top five list for great rock voices of all time.
YES!
Mine too...👍
This is definitely a kick ass rock song.... I've played it in my car for years!
1 of the greatest vocalists of all time. MR. BIG live next please!!!!
The Live cut of this one is great...Paul Rodgers actually Vocaled for 'Queen' for a bit as well.
FREE....one of the UK's greatest bands...a blend of soul, blues, rock and wrapped up in subtle good taste
Usually when this song started someone immediately yelled "Turn it up!!!". Pretty much played every summer to get things rolling. Part of the cowbell club.
Feel Like Makin' Love - now this is really good
One of my all time favourite songs!
Allright Now!!!!!
My favourite song to murder at karaoke. Amazing that these guys were just 17, 17, 18 and 15 years old when they formed.
🇬🇧 Paul Rogers toured with Queen & fronted the band for a while after Freddie Mercury passed away❤. He has just an amazing voice. Love this song, and it has one the most recognisable riffs ever. 🎸🔥🎼
Paul Rodgers is one of the best vocals in rock and blues and Kosof is so carismatic when you watch him play.
Best known as the lead singer of Bad Company, Paul Rogers one of rocks best vocalists.
You need to check out Free “Wishing Well” too, that’s my fave of their’s … also take a look at Paul Rodgers when he was performing with Queen - the live concert Ukraine 2008 is especially good. Best wishes Lesa 🇦🇺
One of the GREATEST songs of the era. Still fresh as can be today in my opinion!
Thar guitar is brilliant..and his voice is sublime
Free were the best Blues rock band ever!
This was one of the first 45s I ever bought, so that means I'm old. Their song "Wishing Well" is fantastic as well!
I could have sworn you've reacted to Bad Company, in which case people would definitely have mentioned this song and band, but after a search turns out I'm wrong. Too many reactors, hard to keep up with who did what. 🙂
So, you should react to Bad Company. They are up there with the best '70s rock bands. Try _Feel Like Makin' Love,_ _Burnin' Sky,_ _Rock Steady,_ _Can't Get Enough,_ _Movin' On_ ...
And about a million others.
I'm partial to Silver, Blue and Gold.
Classic rock, love this song
This is one of those great drivin songs!
It's my favorite song by them. Such a good song. Bad Company style is similar to Free. Go find Rock Steady and Burnin Sky.❤❤You'll love them both 😊❤
I'm glad I grew up with this fantastic music. I was 14 years old when this record came out. A great rock song.
Imagine climbing in your chevy nova in the early 70s, taking a drive on a country road and turning on the radio and hearing this. Perfection.
Summer weekends!! 16 years old and enjoying that power fully. Man I loved those days and this music❤
This is the definition of Classic Rock!
Free/All Right Now is usually mentioned if Bad Company is reviewed 🧐 anyhow, love this song so fantastic you found it 🎉
It seemed all the bands in the bars back in this era played this song, it was very popular!👍💜
My freshman year of college in 1970 sticks out in my mind because of bands like Free and "All Right Now".
One of the staples of my Jr High dances as well as Taking Care of Business. What a sensory memory. Dances were held in the gym/lunchroom. Good tunes, nervous stomach, and the smell of dirty gym socks and soured milk...ah sweet memories. 😊

I was 22years old when this came out. It was a huge hit and played on the radio all the time.
This song was EVERYWHERE during my childhood. Haven't heard it in decades and still was able to sing along to it.
There's a great live video from 1970 at the lsle of Wight festival of this song.
Loved this song growing up!
Love his vocals! Another is Gone Gone Gone with Bad Company
That's exactly what I do with my head to that riff!! lol
I used to run a disco with my mate in the 70's and we might be playing a load f numbers and not many people were bothing to dance or maybe the odd few, here and ther... so we used to bring this out chuck it on the turntable and the floor became packed. Paul Rodgers also did one album with QUEEN, THE COSMOS ROCKS

Two of my all-time favourite bands, im very jealous!! 👍🏽👍🏽

Another great song of theirs (they played at the Isle of White concert --bigger than Woodstock)is MR. BIG
This song has always been an air guitarist's dream. You simply cannot listen to this song without strapping on your air guitar.
Great song, great reaction ❤
This song is played whenever Stanford University scores a touchdown. Hell yeah, Fear the Tree.
Now imagine being a teenager growing up to this in the 70s. And other great music at that time. Now you see why my age group got so burnt out 😂
Loved your reaction, you definitely got it.
Love this song, as mentioned Paul Rodgers went to front Bad Company. Another excellent band that you need to check out!
Excellent bass action, Mr. Andy Fraser.
Love this song! Classic!!
Havn't heard this in decades! Thanks!
In 2018 I saw Paul Rodgers in concert in California. He is really a relaxed and effortless singer and he still sounded really good.
Soft Rock is what I would call this. Better example for far is Drift Away by Dolby Gray. One of the best soft rock songs ever. Everyone can relate!
What a great song, brings back childhood memories of summer and sunshine and friends.
Such a classic tune!
Candy for your ears :D dad always played this when I was growing up. Love it to this day!
This song was big time in 1970. I was 9 years old.
Great song, great band.
I have loved this song 'All Right Now' by Free since I first heard it on the radio in 1970. I still love it. I will always love it.

Hell yeah !!!!!!❤❤❤❤
This song contributed directly to the birth of the concept of an 'air guitar'.
The Stanford Band would play a cover of this song every time the team scored a touchdown or a field goal back in the 70s and the fans would go wild! You HAD to get up and move to the groove! This song is a classic and brings back great memories!
I’m a kid again ❤❤❤
This has been one of my favorite songs since 1970. ❤

This takes me back!
I still can remember thinking that Rod Stewart was Paul Rodgers when I first heard him singing Maggie May. It's kinda like the way Colin Hay sounds like Sting to me. 🤷♀
I love the fact you do your research first. I really enjoy your channel.
One of my favourite tunes ever. Absolutely amazing
Just a great track … and it stands the test of time … it’s still great! … brilliant out to!
One of the great rock songs, Paul Rogers terrific vocals, and Paul Kossoff's greatly underrated guitar playing, plus no fade out on the song, what more can

Love this song was in. By early teens when it came out still love it ❤ Queen & Paul Rodgers do a great version x
I also loved their song "The Stealer."
My first ‘45! Still a great song!!
