Fist thing that came to my mind as well. There was limited power for pumps, now there is less power for pumps. Decommissioning the old system with remove that load but what's the comparison of power usage. Also spends money on a fancy germination chamber while still using crap sensors elsewhere. The best automation system in the world is worthless without dependable, precise, and accurate sensor data. Still no current monitoring on that 40A circuit? I guess the indicator that he's gone over is when the breaker trips and everything shuts off.
Why arent you worried about mold with the moisture in the germination chamber regarding microgreens??? Seems like that would be a BIG CONCERN! Inquiring minds want to know!!!! :)
Germination chambers are an amazing tool. I propagate liner trays of native grass plugs and forbs for restoration and re vegetation. My germination runs at nearly 100% across all cells in as few as 5 days / 120 hrs. The amount of time saved maintaining moisture and temperature over a standard 7-10 day is profound. No more being a slave to the system. Put them in the chamber and come back to seedlings in less than a week.
@@lovesteadmama8738 Yeah the llewellyns moon sign book. Tells you which moons to germinate seeds in to get higher success rates. They can obtain a different attribute depending on the moon sign the seed was germinated in. They can get generally 3 to 4 different attributes breed in to the seed. Most crops have 3 or 4 moon signs they can be germinated in. When you breed that line of seed and germinate it in all of the different moon signs it Is then considered a thoughough breed seed. The book tells you when you should cut growth to retard growth or accelerate it. So if it is currently a moon sign that accelerates growth that is when you should top your plants. If it is a moon sign that retards growth then that is when you should lollypop them. It is a great book.
an update on how well the purpose built germination chamber is working would be super helpful
very nice looking to buy a germination chamber. I would really aprecciate the update of the germination chamber
Looks awesome, going to be a game changer. Greetings from Andreas on Off Grid Sweden
Woah that's a high temp! I thought you could kill seeds at 50° Celsius. 🤔
Any chance of a more in depth look at the germination chamber.
Very cool. Cant wait to see how well it works. :)
Where did you get yours?
What kind of current draw does the new unit take compared to your homemade version?
That’s a nice unit.
Curtis stone is like waaaaaaat
Hey Jeff awesome solution there. But doesn't that thing steel your so much needed amps? :)

oh very nice
How much does this unit weigh?
Who makes this chamber?
Looks like Pro-Grow might have www.progrowsupply.com/prop_cham.html
@@silencedogood1745 Definately not the box. But curious who makes this one.
My paper towel is quite a bit cheaper. If you want to learn how to germinate seeds learn about the moon not buy more equipment.
Learn about the moon? Care to elaborate?

Yes, @Nate could you elaborate?
