I think the 'he can get hurt?' line would have been better if this was the first time where holy weaponry was introduced, rather than the Harvest Moon episode where we see Striker aim an angelic weapon to shoot Stolas. Then it would have made sense for Blitzo to realize 'wait he can be hurt' because even if he might realized angelic weaponry exists in the world, he would have never seen Stolas threatened with one.
I think this is blitz realizing he can be hurt because he never seen stollas in bad shape his reaction was justified because he didn't know that was an angelic weapon he didn't know anything about that the only one that knew it was a blessed tip rifle was moxxie I don't think moxxie told blitz that stollas was at risk of being shot by a holy rifle also you see blitz taking it lightly that stollas was in danger because of how powerful he is he wasn't thinking anything about striker I think he remembered his face but not his name so to me it makes sense.

I don’t think you deserve flack for not realizing that Moxxie didn’t kill his mom. The episode is literally framed so that you’re supposed to come to that conclusion. Only looking up close would anyone notice they’re not the same. There are plenty of reaction channels that to this day believe he really killed his mom.
Yeah it's very confusing... The only reason I found out is because other people figured it out. I think instead of having the shoe float up to the top after Moxxie kills this person, it should be floating around in the background for other people to notice but they can still separate those two things.
Exactly. You notice that only if you are immersed to the lore so you know only afab imps have black horns with very thin white stripes. I saw a lot of reaction videos where casual watchers initially thought Moxxie killed his mom as well. Due to the composition the imp's body build aren't that in flame either.
I *think* the reason we are shown that Moxxie’s mother’s death this way is to establish tension between Crimson and Moxxie by showing that Crim is willing to kill his own family if they get in his way without taking up too much run time. However, the way they framed the shot can be seen as Moxxie’s mother dying in that moment. As many people figured out, it’s not her. However, I think the episode should have drawn attention to that detail rather than leaving it up to the audience to deduce that the imp wasn’t Mox’s mother. Not saying that “show don’t tell” is a bad method of storytelling, but this thought of Mox’s mother dying because of Moxxie (technically) can create different interpretations of other moments of Moxxie, as seen from ForcedPositivity’s first rant video. TL;DR: I agree. (lol)
When someone pointed it out to me, I had to go back and check. If that was just another imp then why did the mom's shoe float to the surface right after Moxxie dipped him? Small wonder everyone got tripped up by it.
@@punkysnarks I think they wanted to show how crimson messed up Moxxie mentally and Moxxie's mom's fate at the same time but accidentally ended up implying that Moxxie killed her mom due to the flashback scene going too fast. Frankly, get it from their part (again, it was a short flashback) but that's kind of what happens when you cram a whole character backstory into a 1min flashback.
To be fair a lot of people mistook the drowned imp as Moxxie's mom. I think it would've been brutal (in a good way as in i think it should've been how it was done) if it was Moxxie's mom. For Loona I think for this episode they shouldve animated her with a muzzle to say she can't talk and its so she couldn't bite the doctor and get her permanently kicked from the clinic. Or add a throw away line that Loona's too stressed to speak or just cut the scenes so short it doesnt come off as empty scenes where Loona (who's known for spitting insults at other people when upset) should be talking. So much of the scenes are empty with no dialogue it makes us as an audience go "should Loona be saying something a moody teenager would right now?"
@@Corrector1 exactly Loona is a character known for making mean comments towards others. It makes the silence filled moment distinctly feel like she should be saying something but they forgot to put her lines in. I think the longest scenes for her and Blitzø should be when theyre trying to inject her and everything else kept relatively short showing Blitzøs frustration with the process so there's less time given for us to think about or feel like Loona will say something. I primarily think animating a muzzle would've worked better since most of the running around to inject her didnt involve biting as much as baring her teeth, and snarling, but her being feral or catatonic would be a workable alternative if thats too complex to animate.

Meanwhile Sallie May was in a well lit area and passes by briefly entering focus to notice.
Had that coming since "childhood friends from very different backgrounds who got reunited many years later" trope. Really hope at least there would be no amnesia due to hit-and-run or something.

I feel that the writers since S2 have made Stolas and Stella's characters more flat. In S1 based on the character dialogue and interactions it appeared that Stolas and Stella got along alright (at least alright enough to sleep in the same bed and have a kid). Then their relationship became fractured after Stolas slept with Blitz. Although it may have been a boring and loveless marriage, it's still a betrayal of trust by Stolas, and explains Stella's actions. Stella and Stolas are more morally grey in S1, you can understand both. I feel S2 is trying too hard to make Stella to be the bad guy (making her constantly mad and screaming) and Stolas as some poor battered spouse. Even though he's the one who cheated. I just feel their characters and relationship to each other and Octavia could have been so much more interesting. But oh well :(
well stolas never wanted to be with Stella to begin with. and Stella had no interest in him at all. I mean, she didnt even care if he came to their anniversary so how can there be any betrayal? they don't love each other
@@luaryle helluva boss fans try to have writing comprehension challenge (impossible). character introductions are everything, viewers were MADE to assume this. the first shot of stolas and stella together crafts imagery of a loveless marriage - stella is not abusive but pulls the sheets away from stolas and sounding very tired demands that stolas takes care of octavia’s crying. there is then an emphasized timeskip, im which stella finds out stolas cheated and is now furious with him. we are made to think that stella and stolas’ marriage was loveless (not abusive), that each character tried to tolerate it (as another example, there is a family photo on the wall of them smiling), and when she found out stolas cheated, that’s when she snapped. all of our ideas about this are solidified later in the episode when octavia reveals to stolas that she’s also upset by stolas’ cheating (“are you gonna run away with him (blitz)? leave me behind?”. this all sets up a flaw on stolas’ part, something he needs to fix. this is simply retconned in later episodes and switches things up for no reason, trying to convince us that stolas is justified and did nothing wrong + that stella has apparently just always been abusive. it largely does this through backstory and blatant dialogue that hits you over the head, so it seems like a retcon. and now both stolas and stella are flatter characters, because stolas has no flaws and stella was just “always a bad guy”. it would’ve been fine to tell that from the start and deepen them another way, but that was not the narrative that was set up. it’s bad writing.

Also, no one mentioned this but what happened in ss2ep1, when stolas was cheering, telling Stella he wants a divorce that happened after ss1ep2 when we see them directly after with Stolas trying to appease her. I understand how show writing works and that they wrote this years ago, but by making Stella a one dimensional character, they cheapen down Stolas and Blitz as well. I liked Stolitz, I was actually rooting for them to get together, but now the ship is literally every gay couple from wattpad stories, and I know because I used to read those, where Stolas is the cinnamon roll gay bottom, blitz being the bad boy too who, and Stella being the female character, who the writer wrote in for readers to shit on.

Helluva Boss has became a mess where Vivziepop wants to have more fun in her episodes than making a well written series that would be more intriguing as it was in season 1. However, I will still be watching this series because I have nothing better to do but to see how this series will turn out.
That's why this show is such a weird case for me personally. I have nothing against people just having fun with their creations, in fact I highly encourage it. But at the same time, it's gotten so messy that it's becoming hard to enjoy as a viewer

The only reason they made Stella comically evil is to deflect blame from Stolas for cheating on his wife and ruining a ( seemingly in season 1) previously happy family. When she’s the villain of the relationship, he doesn’t have to face the real life consequences of cheating on someone. He doesn’t have to feel bad or regret his decision and the audience is supposed to cheer him on for this. So overall Stella’s flat ass character is so Stolas can remain a sweet baby who does no wrong, so Stolitz can remain a ship the audience wants to happen eventually.
A lot of people think that cheating is justified when your partner is a bad one, which is funny cuz the act in itself doesn't improve things in the slightest. Instead of a victim, they become part of the problem by bringing another issue into the relationship, which means Stolas still is in the wrong on his side of the matter. But the story is doing nothing to address that, so the attempt at making him seem more like a victim only comes across as a cheap trick to emotionally manipulate the audience.
Also it contradicts the fact that Stolas “wanted a good home for Octavia” like if you know your partner gets angry (like Stella) HOW WILL CHEATING HELP THAT!?💀 You literally just make an uncomfortable situation for your child, God I like HB but I can’t defend this shit🫤
What i’d LOVE is if they made it so Stella actually does have romantic feelings for Stolas, but knows he doesn’t have any back, so due to the fact that she grew up being a spoilt brat and wants a sense of control she ends up being verbally abusive to him and tries to make herself higher in the situation. Maybe even when her brother was trying to get them to not get divorced her not being angry at first and kinda showing a sense of agreement, but then Stolas denies she tries to put herself in control again by getting angry and being verbal with him. But like you said i’m fanfic writing lmao Stella simply won’t be that type of person because they’ve wrote her to be the pure reincarnation of evil to try and make Stolas to look justified in what he’s doing. Tbh I refuse the notion that Stella was always abusive and the marriage was always a mess The whole dynamic of season 1 stolas family focused episodes focused on the fact that he cheated and through this action, destroyed the family dynamic It's seen in how Octavia acts in the loo loo land episode, especially during the talk with Stolas in which he is seen as the person who has this feeling of guilt in him, he is apologetic in his conversation with Stella, and during the conversation with Octavia, clearly wants to act as this "it's not what was back in the day" is the reason for this fight, it never alludes to any form of abude going. Honestly, the fans trying to deconstruct early episodes to show that Stolas and Stella were never happy and Stolas was justified, is a massive cope by them. The situation shown in the past in loo loo land is a standard marriage situation, they sleep in the same bed (which is a clear indicator that Stella wasn't an abusive person), Stella which is clearly tired tells Stolas to act on Octavia, it's a typical tired parent trope which is normal. Tldr: the relationship was retconed and stoliz shippers are coping

You have a really good point... in the whole relationship the one that always makes me confused is Octavia.. for the things she says "when my parents didn't hate each other", "why does he hate her more than he loves me?" I don't know if she's stupid but she saw how horrible her mom is yet the only one she blames is Stolas as a whole!
You mention how Octavia acts in the part with the talk with Stolas, but you completly disregard Stolas words, he says a lot, but cuts off before finishing: "Your mother and I..." (Your mother and I are an arranged marriage?) "I felt.." (I felt trapped?) "She's always been.." (She's always been abusive/indifferent?) "I haven't been..." (I haven't been happy?) "We weren't in..." (We weren't in love?) It's not a cope to say that Stella and Stolas never loved each other in the slightiest and just carried on for Octavia, but eventually Stolas couldn't support Stella's abuse.
Here's more proof that the Stolla marriage was retconned. To have always been abusive: Do you really see Season 2 Stella sharing a bed with Stolas once Octavia's egg "fell out of her"? The Loo Loo Land shows they shared a bed and Blitzo fucked Stolas "in OUR fucking bed" I don't see a Stella who always hated Stolas sharing a bed with him post egg-laying. The palace is huge and they could get whole Wings to themselves so they don't have to be around one another. As for the 1-sided way the Stolas vs. Stella narrative is handled - that's by design. Vivzi wants to keep Stolas (the CHEATER) sympathetic. So she won't allow Stella to articulate her anger in a way that would make Stolas look bad. Such as her feeling betrayed, hurt, or humiliated by Stolas' affair. This is why so many Stolas fans (and later the writers) will excuse his cheating by claiming Stella was only mad because Stolas slept with an Imp. Like Stella being a bigot justifies the cheating. Then they just retconned the marriage to have always been abusive. To keep Stolas sympathetic.

In the beginning of Loo Loo land, when Stella finds out about the cheating, Stolas is appeasing and apologetic to her saying that it wasn’t expected that he would sleep with Blitz. This shows that hes trying to fix things with Stella in a way and more blame was put on him for the cheating. They retconned this in the new season when Stolas is clearly thrilled about having a divorce earlier on (tearing the banner on the balcony).
To add onto this, the fact that it was "in OUR fucking bed" as you rightly quote was obviously hurting her, as if she did have a genuine affection for Stolas. Like effing a random guy in the bed they made love in throughout many years was a massive betrayal that really screwed her up. Viv didn't like that some fans liked Stella and saw her point of view, so now it's all "I could stop pretending to want to f**k his scrawny twig *ss." Like no, you guys aren't fooling anybody. They were much more interesting characters before season. I only watch for the animation now. The story has been flushed down the drain.
I don't typically comment on videos, but I just wanted to say that I appreciated your honesty about this show. This second season has really tore apart everything I loved about the first season so I'm right there with you with being annoyed by it all. I'm also baffled by the choice to leave Luna in the story if her voice actor is dealing with grief right now. To make it worse, they are also treating her like comedic relief. I'd feel really weird if the character I was supposed to be voicing was still in the script for some reason doing things but just not saying anything. If they just wrote her out of the episode, as you mention, with a quick one-liner about her being out of town or doing something, it just would have made more sense. Hell, even make her join up with Tex and his friends and show her having fun. Just something besides... having her be in the show and saying nothing. This show is just full of piss-poor decisions.
I honestly don't understand your argument, I don't think the voice actress would care at all if the character appeared but didn't talk, I mean maybe she would but as an amateur voice actor I never seen that come out as an issue.
dont worry about being confused about that whole moxxies mom thing. i was confused when i watched the episode as well, it is honestly a problem with the script and the way it was executed. it does imply that it was his mother who got pushed into the water, because its framed like the popular trope where the item that resurfaces after a character gets dumped in a body of water belongs to that character and its supposed to be things around the resurfacing item that set the mood for who has been killed previously. so basically, how this shot was supposed to play out without it confusing the audience is putting like a necklace on the person in the boat and having that necklace resurface whilst in the same shot the heels of moxxies mom floating in the water would also be visible. because why would moxxies moms shoes resurface after some random body got dumped into the water. its usually things that can float that were on whatever you dumped into the water that do that. obviously it can happen, but that's not how this visual trope that's very specific to mafia stories works. so either don't use these tropes or use them properly so the audience isn't confused. so ya, no need to apologize for it or whatever.

Naw i agree. If Stella hated em so much there’s no reason to stay together after Octavia was hatched. Especially if Stella was always like this. Stella doesn’t even interact with Stella, how would anything be different if they split? Being the child of divorcing parents is hard bc you have to choose between two people you love, or you’re just juggled between them. Stella and Octavia never even LOOK at eachother.
I feel they made Stella into a basic villainous bitch so the Stolas and Blitz shippers could have an “excuse” to justify the affair plot. I don’t know, I hate that they took Stolas and made him into a basic “uwu gay” character and turned something interesting into a cringe fest.

I'm confused because Blitz and Stolas were in such a bad spot un S1E7 after the date fiasco, and then in season 2 they're back to being flirty and sexually suggestive towards each other.
I like the moral ambiguity of the early portrayal of Stella but then they made her more 1 sided. I get hating Stolas for cheating but it was shown that she hated him before that whole situation and it makes you wonder why she even cares if she just hates the guy . But as a counter argument, she said " sleeping with a imp " so it might not be a cheating thing but a class thing, the fact that Stolas slept with an imp, a peasant in comparison to them. Stolas said that he wanted to not divorce Stella because he wanted to raise Octavia normally or something in the lines of that.

I will say, for Seeing Stars I can understand them not talking about Ozzie's at the beginning, because Stolas was freaking out about Octavia, and Blitzo was freaking out over Stolas' reaction. BUT, then that gets thrown COMPLETELY out the window once the tv show stuff happens and they're just fucking around for what seemed like a long time, based on how tired out the audience was. It was another one of those inappropriate tone shifts the show needs to work on.

Yeah I agree with almost all your points and for that scene with Blitzo saying “he can get hurt?” Feels very forced and maybe would’ve worked more if he said instead “he actually got hurt?” (Stella points were great too, she felt more distant and isolated compared to now where she’s just ditzy, abrasive and loud)
Tbh I grew up with my parents arguing all the time and from both sides there were a LOT of fake divorce threats. That happened. Stolas could have backed out from fear or just become apathetic the same way my parents did, however that would just be headcanoning and not excuse the show

I'd honestly love to see you do reviews on each episode, you have a good voice and even when ranting you're good at putting your thoughts together. And I really want more Stella impressions xD I also want to add, I think the "He can get hurt" line is meant to be more like Blitz realising that he actually cares that he can get hurt and the poor phasing is just him trying to out that into words. He's also so use to everything just working out okay, like the first time even thou he knew that gun could hurt him, nothing happened. The threat on his life was never followed through so why would it this time?
I mean lets be honest. The writers are pretty cringy and amateur. The character designs are great. The animation is beautiful. The voice actors are pretty good. but the writers are The furthest behind. they don't suck by any measure, but they are not going to be perfect and they are certainly going to be inconsistent. Writing is hard. Lets not forget that Dragonball writers straight up forgot launch was supposed to exist until halfway through dragonball Z. Very few people on this project are long time professionals. most of them are cutting their teeth on this show with lots of resources and some great talent teaching them. I think all in all they are doing a fantastic job. Do I want a better show? of course, but I am enjoying this and everything they learn here will hopfully make Hazbin Hotel that much better.

I do not know of any evidence to prove how receptive or not these particular writers are to critique. So I am going to do the reasonable thing and assume they are at least somewhat open minded until proven otherwise.

They really fumbled the ball with stellas, blitzs and stolas dynamics cause they had such a good thing going and in the newest episode I felt as if all the tension behind those three characters has petered off like a small flame and it's become a whimper, there is still so much untapped potential ESPECIALLY seeing a episode of conflict between stella and blitz confronting each other about blitz being selfish and ruining their marriage and guilt tripping him and making blitzs the bad guy even INFRONT of stolas saying how he stole the book for selfish reasons and didn't even care for stolas until now, probably breaking his heart away. That be a MUCH more interesting heartfelt episode than you know Strikerssss back yayyyy-

I have a feeling blitz didn't go and save stolas because that would give them some actual significant growth. But no, they still have to refuse to communicate with each other and remain in relationship limbo because the will-they-wont-they is the only thing stringing the audience along. And watching the mlm men getting battered and traumatized because the show's emphasis on that is so fucking creepy and the fans are creepier for obsessing over it, it kind of reminds me of the owl house fandom's obsession with watching the teenage characters getting worse and worse mentally, it's disturbing
After watching "Western Energy", many fans, myself included, are now theorizing that because Andrealphus had reminded Stella that if Stolas dies then everything he has will go to Octavia, one of two things will happen. Either Stella will use Octavia as a way to strongarm Stolas into giving her everything he has or she'll just murder Octavia along with Stolas. Now, many other fans argue against this, saying things like "oh Stella may be a b*tch but she would never kill her own daughter!" I, on the other hand, have a different view on the matter. The biggest thing is...we don't know the nature of Stella and Octavia's relationship, we know that Stella hates Stolas viscerally and despises him even more for cheating on her and being an embarrassment to their royal status, so much she tried to have him killed, but what about Octavia? We've never seen Stella interact with Octavia at all or even mention her in passing to the point where it's like she doesn't even remember she has a daughter. In that one flashback, she refers to Octavia as "the one egg that fell out of me", in Loo Loo Land she tells Stolas to go deal with little Via crying for her parents and actively argued with Stolas in front of her, and in Seeing Stars she yells at Stolas for believing he's turning Octavia against her. We all know Octavia is a daddy's girl, despite his problems, she loves Stolas and Stolas can and will literally move the stars to see her smile. But when it comes to Stella, she needed to be reminded by her brother that all of Stolas' inheritance will go to Octavia if she had him killed. To point I'm getting at is that I don't believe Stella loves Octavia, she probably doesn't hate her like she hates Stolas, but I don't feel any love for Octavia in everything she says or does, there's not even the thought about how Octavia would react if she found out her mother had her father killed. The way I can see it is like this: Stella will use Octavia as a way to strongarm Stolas into giving up all his inheritance to her before having him killed, then Octavia will be so traumatized by Stolas' death that she won't have the mental or emotional strength to go against her mother. And seeing that, Stella won't even have to kill Octavia, she could just have her exiled and that would be the end of it because Octavia would have no will to fight back after losing the one person who truly loved her. That's my theory anyway
The thing I hate the most is that critisicm channels always point out the bad things only. Not once do they mention something good. Yours is an exception because you simply understand the good parts.
The true addendum is when you make a part 3 when someone points out that the color is slightly off on the horn analysis for no reason (good on addressing the stuff though)
Every single thing about this episode was disappointing and could have been written so much differently. I've only gone back to watch it once. Besides the weird Loona thing and Striker being lame, Blitz should have went to save Stolas, or Striker could have kidnapped Blitz to lure Stolas in a trap, or Stolas being kidnapped could have made it on the news instead of Striker letting Stolas call Blitz, just ANYTHING OTHER THAN WHAT WE GOT!

The thing doesn't have any sense though for a different reason and is the fact that royalty in hell makes no sense, Paimon is the father of all goethians and the family tree makes no sense
Basically they retconned the show to focus too much on Blitz and Stolas and the inconsistent writing is supposed to force the audience to believe both are blameless. It’s basically a cheesy and predictable fanfic at this point.

In the harvest moon episode, stella never said "kill stolas" or anything with his name, so i think octavia and stolas assumes it was just someone else that stella wanted killed
I think the reason he didnt follow through is the same reason he said he tried for years to fake it: he probably first called divorce out of a freedom high that blits gave him, but then remembered his situation and essentially went "wait, hold on, pause" im assuming we did see the direct aftermath to the divorce scene with her asaulting him and him backtracking (ps, seeing more of your content, and willingess to correct and elaborate on your stuf , and seeing where your coming from is very nice and ill subscribe on the off chance you continue to post things id watch.
To be fair there was sort of a line, Stolas asking Stella why she was still in the house. My guess is that before he actually had enough and stopped her from hitting him, that she was ignoring his insistence that they divorce. She was just running over him as usual until he physically stood up for himself and the game of ignoring the divorce stopped being as fun for her.
I think Octavia's episode would have been better if Stolas and Blitz were just a bit petty to one another. Like neither take jabs at the other, or make snide remarks and in a high stress environment, it makes perfect sense for them to be petty and emotional! But there is just... nothing. Its such a let down
Like someone else already said I don't think you were wrong for coming to the conclusion you did about Moxxie killing his mom. When I initially watched the episode I teared up cuz I initially thought I just saw this sweet little boy off the only loving figure he had in his life to that point. So you're definitely not the only person who came to that conclusion. If I wasn't so into review channels and only went based off my initial viewing of the episode I'd still think Moxxie had been forced to off his mom tbh.
The best way I can describe Helluva Boss is that it's TV tropes, the show. It's mostly someone's oc's doing funny and fancy scenes reminiscent from other works of fiction. I'm not trying to be callous saying that, it just feels like someone took a mixed bag of tropes, tossed them in a salad, and served them up without thinking if the ingredients go well or if it's plated correctly. Which, is really not great when you're trying to produce a TV-quality show. The animation, voice acting, and overall premise is great. The execution less so.
Helluva boss I felt started off good but though I hate to say it, I feel the major issue is Stolas, I grew to like him in season 1 and I loved his relationship with Octavia. But it now feels like their making him the male version of a Mary sue (Garry stew?) Like he has no flaws that are bad, what was there in season 1 went, i thought he had a bit of an entitlement complex which made sense, but it just magically disappeared. You cant be even slightly skeptical s2 ep2 because his angers justified with Stella. What i thought was more annoying was a lot of fans hating epidode 3 because Stolas wasnt in it. Its a shame because his design and voice actor are really good. But i feel as of late most episodes he is in as of current should be titled: "more ways in which Blitzø is a douche bag" And to me s2 ep4 made little sense, all of IMP were rescued by Stolas, Blitzø loves his family so to me it makes little sense for Stolas to get taken by Striker and his response is. I do not care (Sorry for the rant)
I think the thing about mistaking who Moxie pushed off the boat, while a common mistake, is super understandable. The cinematic language they're using implies Moxie was forced to murder his mum. Cutting straight from him pushing the figure off the boat to the shoe floating up implies a correlation between the two shots. If they didn't want us to think that it could have panned to the shoe having already been floating there for a while. In cinema language it's called the Kuleshov Effect. I think people are being too pedantic getting uppity about a mistake like that when the cinematic language they use directly implies that Moxie was supposed to murder his mum.
The fake smiling is ABSOLUTELY something Stella would do. Stella is very concerned with her image, so playing the happy family for a picture fits her MO. Stella does not care Stolas cheated, she cares about the fact that Stolas did so with an Imp AND had it go public. Notice that when Stella berates Stolas during the Loo Loo Land episode she doesn't utter a word about Stolas being unfaithful (unlike what you implied), it is all centered around him sleeping with Imps and their image (Quote before the song sets in:"A Motel?! Like a fucking plebeian?!?"). She cares about her image, about how it makes HER look that her husband would prefer an Imp over her
When she’s screaming in S1EP2 she says something along the lines of “In OUR bed!”, clearly she had some affection for him if they not only shared a bed but she saw it as a bed they shared. Obviously implying she saw some emotional significance in their shared bed. And on your point about the portrait, why would Stella go to Loo Loo Land in the first place? Unless it was something Stolas and her were forced to go to (like an opening ceremony, which would make zero sense if I’m being honest) because if she truly hated him she wouldn’t. Unless she genuinely cares for Octavia and only went for her.

Instead I would interpret this part as her being angry he did it where she sleeps. We both don't have enough evidence to support our viewpoint with this problem. It may have been affection for Octavia. It may have been the only time she ever went with them for the image of the happy family. It may have been something else. We don't know.

Yknow the idea Blitzø is meaning this to be the first time he's seen Stolas hurt, it doesnt really align when Blitzø and him have bdsm sex that includes a bear trap. It shouldve at minimum been before Seeing stars where Blitzø learns how weak Stolas can be without his book. Or he shouldnt have said "i think Stolas is in real danger this time" in the same episode meaning he thought Stolas could get hurt this time. Im not sure how else to take that line it just comes off blatantly contradicting.
I will believe its her with burning hit denial. It's her because if it isn't WOW the story boarders for this scene have done a TERRIBLE job at communicating the necessary information. Also, imps don't have just black horns. During the whole "millie's sister is trans" controversy it was established that all imps have striped, black and white horns, with males having thick white stripes and females having thin stripes.
What I understand is that, loo loo land takes place two or there days later the non-divorce party. And since then they are in the process of getting divorced.
I am still kinda annoyed with the "he can get hurt?" line, because it always felt off to me even though everyone else acted as it was the best part of the episode. Maybe it's just me diving too deep, but on Blitzo's canon instagram page, we can see Stolas in a cast from using a beartrap in bed... Blitzo saw him get hurt from the beartrap... if he 'can't get hurt'... why is he in a cast? Eh idk.

Really think about it. There are scenes and concepts that link back to that song later in Loo Loo Land and later episodes. Realize he did not once lie to Octavia in that song. Not once.
The thing about the "He can get hurt?" is a Goetia is a higher race of demon with a packed kit of abilities and Blitz doesn't know much else about Goetia other than being high class and powerful. He stopped Striker because he saw him going for a kill irrespective of whether he could get hurt. He was urgent in the later episode because he needed to get Loona to the hospital but because Millie and Moxxie took over he trusted them and stuck at the hospital. Also Stolas would feign danger to get Blitz's attention. Also you didn't cover the truth serum sequence? A sequence that was focused on the two subconsciously coming to terms with their self-worth which is why Blitz has characters of his past show up; representing aspects of his failures in life: Being a clown, Being a solo assassin, Being a genuine partner; then seeing Stolas a divine being hold him on a leash like a pet/slave and when he tells them all to STOP FUCKING TALKING! he's coated and left screaming because he sees no value in himself. Moxxie only saw Blitz in a more musical sequence because that's how he confronted his sense of worth to Blitz as a person
Here's my takes: My interpretation of Stella is that she's just vain. She doesn't hate that Stolas cheated, she cares that it was an imp, who in the most recent episode, is painted as a marginalized demon race. I think she hates Stolas because he openly dislikes her, existing as a political necessity and constant assault on her ego simultaneously. I think the divorce took so long because they are an influential family, a royal divorce is much more visible than a common citizen's divorce. Plus, as an arranged marriage, there's more than just his happiness to consider, not that he should have to consider anything else. His family already forced him into this relationship, they would probably try to guilt him into staying. My interpretation of the "he can get hurt" line is that this is Blitzo's first time fully connecting that Stolas isn't untouchable. Stolas often treats bodyguard duty as an excuse to be with Blitzo. Combined with his great power, I could 100% understand why Blitzo is shocked that something could actually happen.
I think that, regarding the whole scene where Stolas and Blitz spend the night together/Stolas announces the divorce the next morning, that just because it was a flashback, doesn't mean that it was a long time ago/years ago. I think it was a flashback from the recent past, which is why in the Loo Loo Land episode(where we are in the present at that point) Stella and Stolas are screaming at eachother about the incident, like it happened pretty recently, at least within the last few weeks because you can hear the shock and disbelief Stella has. I think your confusion over the whole thing is because you're assuming that Blitz seducing Stolas happened a long time ago, which was never implied or intended imo.
Also, about that part where you said that they havent been doing their actual job (the other video) In the beginning of ozzies they came back from a job of killing lumberjacks?
I think the 'he can get hurt?' line would have been better if this was the first time where holy weaponry was introduced, rather than the Harvest Moon episode where we see Striker aim an angelic weapon to shoot Stolas. Then it would have made sense for Blitzo to realize 'wait he can be hurt' because even if he might realized angelic weaponry exists in the world, he would have never seen Stolas threatened with one.
I think this is blitz realizing he can be hurt because he never seen stollas in bad shape his reaction was justified because he didn't know that was an angelic weapon he didn't know anything about that the only one that knew it was a blessed tip rifle was moxxie I don't think moxxie told blitz that stollas was at risk of being shot by a holy rifle also you see blitz taking it lightly that stollas was in danger because of how powerful he is he wasn't thinking anything about striker I think he remembered his face but not his name so to me it makes sense.

Yeah it's very confusing... The only reason I found out is because other people figured it out. I think instead of having the shoe float up to the top after Moxxie kills this person, it should be floating around in the background for other people to notice but they can still separate those two things.
Exactly. You notice that only if you are immersed to the lore so you know only afab imps have black horns with very thin white stripes. I saw a lot of reaction videos where casual watchers initially thought Moxxie killed his mom as well. Due to the composition the imp's body build aren't that in flame either.
I *think* the reason we are shown that Moxxie’s mother’s death this way is to establish tension between Crimson and Moxxie by showing that Crim is willing to kill his own family if they get in his way without taking up too much run time. However, the way they framed the shot can be seen as Moxxie’s mother dying in that moment. As many people figured out, it’s not her. However, I think the episode should have drawn attention to that detail rather than leaving it up to the audience to deduce that the imp wasn’t Mox’s mother. Not saying that “show don’t tell” is a bad method of storytelling, but this thought of Mox’s mother dying because of Moxxie (technically) can create different interpretations of other moments of Moxxie, as seen from ForcedPositivity’s first rant video.

When someone pointed it out to me, I had to go back and check. If that was just another imp then why did the mom's shoe float to the surface right after Moxxie dipped him? Small wonder everyone got tripped up by it.
@@punkysnarks I think they wanted to show how crimson messed up Moxxie mentally and Moxxie's mom's fate at the same time but accidentally ended up implying that Moxxie killed her mom due to the flashback scene going too fast. Frankly, get it from their part (again, it was a short flashback) but that's kind of what happens when you cram a whole character backstory into a 1min flashback.
To be fair a lot of people mistook the drowned imp as Moxxie's mom. I think it would've been brutal (in a good way as in i think it should've been how it was done) if it was Moxxie's mom. For Loona I think for this episode they shouldve animated her with a muzzle to say she can't talk and its so she couldn't bite the doctor and get her permanently kicked from the clinic. Or add a throw away line that Loona's too stressed to speak or just cut the scenes so short it doesnt come off as empty scenes where Loona (who's known for spitting insults at other people when upset) should be talking. So much of the scenes are empty with no dialogue it makes us as an audience go "should Loona be saying something a moody teenager would right now?"
Even accounting for the fact that she's catatonic or feral for a lot of the episode, Loona having no dialogue at all just felt bizarre.
@@Corrector1 exactly Loona is a character known for making mean comments towards others. It makes the silence filled moment distinctly feel like she should be saying something but they forgot to put her lines in. I think the longest scenes for her and Blitzø should be when theyre trying to inject her and everything else kept relatively short showing Blitzøs frustration with the process so there's less time given for us to think about or feel like Loona will say something.
I primarily think animating a muzzle would've worked better since most of the running around to inject her didnt involve biting as much as baring her teeth, and snarling, but her being feral or catatonic would be a workable alternative if thats too complex to animate.

Meanwhile Sallie May was in a well lit area and passes by briefly entering focus to notice.

I feel that the writers since S2 have made Stolas and Stella's characters more flat. In S1 based on the character dialogue and interactions it appeared that Stolas and Stella got along alright (at least alright enough to sleep in the same bed and have a kid). Then their relationship became fractured after Stolas slept with Blitz. Although it may have been a boring and loveless marriage, it's still a betrayal of trust by Stolas, and explains Stella's actions. Stella and Stolas are more morally grey in S1, you can understand both.
I feel S2 is trying too hard to make Stella to be the bad guy (making her constantly mad and screaming) and Stolas as some poor battered spouse. Even though he's the one who cheated.
I just feel their characters and relationship to each other and Octavia could have been so much more interesting. But oh well :(

the first shot of stolas and stella together crafts imagery of a loveless marriage - stella is not abusive but pulls the sheets away from stolas and sounding very tired demands that stolas takes care of octavia’s crying. there is then an emphasized timeskip, im which stella finds out stolas cheated and is now furious with him. we are made to think that stella and stolas’ marriage was loveless (not abusive), that each character tried to tolerate it (as another example, there is a family photo on the wall of them smiling), and when she found out stolas cheated, that’s when she snapped. all of our ideas about this are solidified later in the episode when octavia reveals to stolas that she’s also upset by stolas’ cheating (“are you gonna run away with him (blitz)? leave me behind?”. this all sets up a flaw on stolas’ part, something he needs to fix.
this is simply retconned in later episodes and switches things up for no reason, trying to convince us that stolas is justified and did nothing wrong + that stella has apparently just always been abusive. it largely does this through backstory and blatant dialogue that hits you over the head, so it seems like a retcon. and now both stolas and stella are flatter characters, because stolas has no flaws and stella was just “always a bad guy”. it would’ve been fine to tell that from the start and deepen them another way, but that was not the narrative that was set up. it’s bad writing.

Ss1, she’s shown to be angry and seething at Stolas because he’s a “cheating prick”, but in ss2 she’s happily insulted him, and already want to kill him. Also, no one mentioned this but what happened in ss2ep1, when stolas was cheering, telling Stella he wants a divorce that happened after ss1ep2 when we see them directly after with Stolas trying to appease her. I understand how show writing works and that they wrote this years ago, but by making Stella a one dimensional character, they cheapen down Stolas and Blitz as well. I liked Stolitz, I was actually rooting for them to get together, but now the ship is literally every gay couple from wattpad stories, and I know because I used to read those, where Stolas is the cinnamon roll gay bottom, blitz being the bad boy too who, and Stella being the female character, who the writer wrote in for readers to shit on.
S1 Stella is mad because Stolas cheated on her, also because he cheated on her with an Imp, a low-rank demon.
S2 Stella couldn't care less about Stolas cheating, given how publicly admits Stolas being bad in bed, calling him pathetic in the middle of aparty
S1 Octavia says that her parents didn't hate each other in the past
S2 Shows us how neither of them wants to be even near the other, because of their apparent mutual disgust
S1 Shows us Stolas not defending his actions when Stella is making a rant nor when he apologizes with Octavia
S2 Shows us Stolas clearly happy about it, even screaming "That's the sound of a f*cking divorse", followed by laughter

Helluva Boss has became a mess where Vivziepop wants to have more fun in her episodes than making a well written series that would be more intriguing as it was in season 1. However, I will still be watching this series because I have nothing better to do but to see how this series will turn out.
That's why this show is such a weird case for me personally. I have nothing against people just having fun with their creations, in fact I highly encourage it. But at the same time, it's gotten so messy that it's becoming hard to enjoy as a viewer

The only reason they made Stella comically evil is to deflect blame from Stolas for cheating on his wife and ruining a ( seemingly in season 1) previously happy family. When she’s the villain of the relationship, he doesn’t have to face the real life consequences of cheating on someone. He doesn’t have to feel bad or regret his decision and the audience is supposed to cheer him on for this. So overall Stella’s flat ass character is so Stolas can remain a sweet baby who does no wrong, so Stolitz can remain a ship the audience wants to happen eventually.
They really made it to try and avoid certain drama aspects in a *comedy drama*
A lot of people think that cheating is justified when your partner is a bad one, which is funny cuz the act in itself doesn't improve things in the slightest. Instead of a victim, they become part of the problem by bringing another issue into the relationship, which means Stolas still is in the wrong on his side of the matter. But the story is doing nothing to address that, so the attempt at making him seem more like a victim only comes across as a cheap trick to emotionally manipulate the audience.

It's seen in how Octavia acts in the loo loo land episode, especially during the talk with Stolas in which he is seen as the person who has this feeling of guilt in him, he is apologetic in his conversation with Stella, and during the conversation with Octavia, clearly wants to act as this "it's not what was back in the day" is the reason for this fight, it never alludes to any form of abude going.
Honestly, the fans trying to deconstruct early episodes to show that Stolas and Stella were never happy and Stolas was justified, is a massive cope by them.
The situation shown in the past in loo loo land is a standard marriage situation, they sleep in the same bed (which is a clear indicator that Stella wasn't an abusive person), Stella which is clearly tired tells Stolas to act on Octavia, it's a typical tired parent trope which is normal.

You have a really good point... in the whole relationship the one that always makes me confused is Octavia.. for the things she says "when my parents didn't hate each other", "why does he hate her more than he loves me?" You mention how Octavia acts in the part with the talk with Stolas, but you completly disregard Stolas words, he says a lot, but cuts off before finishing:

As for the 1-sided way the Stolas vs. Stella narrative is handled - that's by design. Vivzi wants to keep Stolas (the CHEATER) sympathetic. So she won't allow Stella to articulate her anger in a way that would make Stolas look bad.
Such as her feeling betrayed, hurt, or humiliated by Stolas' affair. This is why so many Stolas fans (and later the writers) will excuse his cheating by claiming Stella was only mad because Stolas slept with an Imp.
Like Stella being a bigot justifies the cheating. Then they just retconned the marriage to have always been abusive. To keep Stolas sympathetic.

In the beginning of Loo Loo land, when Stella finds out about the cheating, Stolas is appeasing and apologetic to her saying that it wasn’t expected that he would sleep with Blitz. This shows that hes trying to fix things with Stella in a way and more blame was put on him for the cheating. They retconned this in the new season when Stolas is clearly thrilled about having a divorce earlier on (tearing the banner on the balcony).

To add onto this, the fact that it was "in OUR fucking bed" as you rightly quote was obviously hurting her, as if she did have a genuine affection for Stolas. Like effing a random guy in the bed they made love in throughout many years was a massive betrayal that really screwed her up.
Viv didn't like that some fans liked Stella and saw her point of view, so now it's all "I could stop pretending to want to f**k his scrawny twig *ss." Like no, you guys aren't fooling anybody. I don't typically comment on videos, but I just wanted to say that I appreciated your honesty about this show. This second season has really tore apart everything I loved about the first season so I'm right there with you with being annoyed by it all.
I'm also baffled by the choice to leave Luna in the story if her voice actor is dealing with grief right now. To make it worse, they are also treating her like comedic relief. I'd feel really weird if the character I was supposed to be voicing was still in the script for some reason doing things but just not saying anything. If they just wrote her out of the episode, as you mention, with a quick one-liner about her being out of town or doing something, it just would have made more sense. Hell, even make her join up with Tex and his friends and show her having fun. Just something besides... having her be in the show and saying nothing. This show is just full of piss-poor decisions.
The loona stuff does make sense but season 2 isn't bad by any means

dont worry about being confused about that whole moxxies mom thing. i was confused when i watched the episode as well, it is honestly a problem with the script and the way it was executed. it does imply that it was his mother who got pushed into the water, because its framed like the popular trope where the item that resurfaces after a character gets dumped in a body of water belongs to that character and its supposed to be things around the resurfacing item that set the mood for who has been killed previously. so basically, how this shot was supposed to play out without it confusing the audience is putting like a necklace on the person in the boat and having that necklace resurface whilst in the same shot the heels of moxxies mom floating in the water would also be visible. because why would moxxies moms shoes resurface after some random body got dumped into the water. its usually things that can float that were on whatever you dumped into the water that do that. obviously it can happen, but that's not how this visual trope that's very specific to mafia stories works. so either don't use these tropes or use them properly so the audience isn't confused. so ya, no need to apologize for it or whatever.
tbh I noticed easily that it wasn't his mom.. but they shouldn't make the shoe surface like that.. it should have been up there and end of story. I like the moral ambiguity of the early portrayal of Stella but then they made her more 1 sided. I get hating Stolas for cheating but it was shown that she hated him before that whole situation and it makes you wonder why she even cares if she just hates the guy . But as a counter argument, she said " sleeping with a imp " so it might not be a cheating thing but a class thing, the fact that Stolas slept with an imp, a peasant in comparison to them. Stolas said that he wanted to not divorce Stella because he wanted to raise Octavia normally or something in the lines of that.

I will say, for Seeing Stars I can understand them not talking about Ozzie's at the beginning, because Stolas was freaking out about Octavia, and Blitzo was freaking out over Stolas' reaction. BUT, then that gets thrown COMPLETELY out the window once the tv show stuff happens and they're just fucking around for what seemed like a long time, based on how tired out the audience was. It was another one of those inappropriate tone shifts the show needs to work on.

Yeah I agree with almost all your points and for that scene with Blitzo saying “he can get hurt?” Feels very forced and maybe would’ve worked more if he said instead “he actually got hurt?” (Stella points were great too, she felt more distant and isolated compared to now where she’s just ditzy, abrasive and loud)
Tbh I grew up with my parents arguing all the time and from both sides there were a LOT of fake divorce threats. That happened. Stolas could have backed out from fear or just become apathetic the same way my parents did, however that would just be headcanoning and not excuse the show

I also want to add, I think the "He can get hurt" line is meant to be more like Blitz realising that he actually cares that he can get hurt and the poor phasing is just him trying to out that into words. He's also so use to everything just working out okay, like the first time even thou he knew that gun could hurt him, nothing happened. The threat on his life was never followed through so why would it this time?

I mean lets be honest. The writers are pretty cringy and amateur. The character designs are great. The animation is beautiful. The voice actors are pretty good. but the writers are The furthest behind. they don't suck by any measure, but they are not going to be perfect and they are certainly going to be inconsistent. Writing is hard. Lets not forget that Dragonball writers straight up forgot launch was supposed to exist until halfway through dragonball Z. Very few people on this project are long time professionals. most of them are cutting their teeth on this show with lots of resources and some great talent teaching them. I think all in all they are doing a fantastic job. Do I want a better show? of course, but I am enjoying this and everything they learn here will hopfully make Hazbin Hotel that much better.
The thing is - HB writers don't learn, they get defensive for anything other than unconditional praise.

I do not know of any evidence to prove how receptive or not these particular writers are to critique. So I am going to do the reasonable thing and assume they are at least somewhat open minded until proven otherwise.

They really fumbled the ball with stellas, blitzs and stolas dynamics cause they had such a good thing going and in the newest episode I felt as if all the tension behind those three characters has petered off like a small flame and it's become a whimper, there is still so much untapped potential ESPECIALLY seeing a episode of conflict between stella and blitz confronting each other about blitz being selfish and ruining their marriage and guilt tripping him and making blitzs the bad guy even INFRONT of stolas saying how he stole the book for selfish reasons and didn't even care for stolas until now, probably breaking his heart away. That be a MUCH more interesting heartfelt episode than you know

I have a feeling blitz didn't go and save stolas because that would give them some actual significant growth. But no, they still have to refuse to communicate with each other and remain in relationship limbo because the will-they-wont-they is the only thing stringing the audience along. And watching the mlm men getting battered and traumatized because the show's emphasis on that is so fucking creepy and the fans are creepier for obsessing over it, it kind of reminds me of the owl house fandom's obsession with watching the teenage characters getting worse and worse mentally, it's disturbing
After watching "Western Energy", many fans, myself included, are now theorizing that because Andrealphus had reminded Stella that if Stolas dies then everything he has will go to Octavia, one of two things will happen.
Either Stella will use Octavia as a way to strongarm Stolas into giving her everything he has or she'll just murder Octavia along with Stolas.
Now, many other fans argue against this, saying things like "oh Stella may be a b*tch but she would never kill her own daughter!" I, on the other hand, have a different view on the matter.
The biggest thing is...we don't know the nature of Stella and Octavia's relationship, we know that Stella hates Stolas viscerally and despises him even more for cheating on her and being an embarrassment to their royal status, so much she tried to have him killed, but what about Octavia?
We've never seen Stella interact with Octavia at all or even mention her in passing to the point where it's like she doesn't even remember she has a daughter. In that one flashback, she refers to Octavia as "the one egg that fell out of me", in Loo Loo Land she tells Stolas to go deal with little Via crying for her parents and actively argued with Stolas in front of her, and in Seeing Stars she yells at Stolas for believing he's turning Octavia against her.
We all know Octavia is a daddy's girl, despite his problems, she loves Stolas and Stolas can and will literally move the stars to see her smile. But when it comes to Stella, she needed to be reminded by her brother that all of Stolas' inheritance will go to Octavia if she had him killed.
To point I'm getting at is that I don't believe Stella loves Octavia, she probably doesn't hate her like she hates Stolas, but I don't feel any love for Octavia in everything she says or does, there's not even the thought about how Octavia would react if she found out her mother had her father killed.
The way I can see it is like this: Stella will use Octavia as a way to strongarm Stolas into giving up all his inheritance to her before having him killed, then Octavia will be so traumatized by Stolas' death that she won't have the mental or emotional strength to go against her mother. And seeing that, Stella won't even have to kill Octavia, she could just have her exiled and that would be the end of it because Octavia would have no will to fight back after losing the one person who truly loved her.
That's my theory anyway
The thing I hate the most is that critisicm channels always point out the bad things only. Not once do they mention something good.

The true addendum is when you make a part 3 when someone points out that the color is slightly off on the horn analysis for no reason (good on addressing the stuff though)
Every single thing about this episode was disappointing and could have been written so much differently. I've only gone back to watch it once.
Besides the weird Loona thing and Striker being lame, Blitz should have went to save Stolas, or Striker could have kidnapped Blitz to lure Stolas in a trap, or Stolas being kidnapped could have made it on the news instead of Striker letting Stolas call Blitz, just ANYTHING OTHER THAN WHAT WE GOT!
Maybe stop expecting so much and enjoy it as it is.

Divorce is bad because marriage under these circumstances is used a a seal between families, even non catholic civilizations had marriage as an institution to merge family properties and responsibilities. The thing doesn't have any sense though for a different reason and is the fact that royalty in hell makes no sense, Paimon is the father of all goethians and the family tree makes no sense

I think the reason he didnt follow through is the same reason he said he tried for years to fake it: he probably first called divorce out of a freedom high that blits gave him, but then remembered his situation and essentially went "wait, hold on, pause" im assuming we did see the direct aftermath to the divorce scene with her asaulting him and him backtracking (ps, seeing more of your content, and willingess to correct and elaborate on your stuf , and seeing where your coming from is very nice and ill subscribe on the off chance you continue to post things id watch.
To be fair there was sort of a line, Stolas asking Stella why she was still in the house. My guess is that before he actually had enough and stopped her from hitting him, that she was ignoring his insistence that they divorce. She was just running over him as usual until he physically stood up for himself and the game of ignoring the divorce stopped being as fun for her.
I think Octavia's episode would have been better if Stolas and Blitz were just a bit petty to one another. Like neither take jabs at the other, or make snide remarks and in a high stress environment, it makes perfect sense for them to be petty and emotional! But there is just... nothing. Its such a let down
Like someone else already said I don't think you were wrong for coming to the conclusion you did about Moxxie killing his mom. When I initially watched the episode I teared up cuz I initially thought I just saw this sweet little boy off the only loving figure he had in his life to that point. So you're definitely not the only person who came to that conclusion. If I wasn't so into review channels and only went based off my initial viewing of the episode I'd still think Moxxie had been forced to off his mom tbh.
The best way I can describe Helluva Boss is that it's TV tropes, the show. It's mostly someone's oc's doing funny and fancy scenes reminiscent from other works of fiction. I'm not trying to be callous saying that, it just feels like someone took a mixed bag of tropes, tossed them in a salad, and served them up without thinking if the ingredients go well or if it's plated correctly. Which, is really not great when you're trying to produce a TV-quality show. The animation, voice acting, and overall premise is great. The execution less so.

Helluva boss I felt started off good but though I hate to say it, I feel the major issue is Stolas, I grew to like him in season 1 and I loved his relationship with Octavia. But it now feels like their making him the male version of a Mary sue (Garry stew?) Like he has no flaws that are bad, what was there in season 1 went, i thought he had a bit of an entitlement complex which made sense, but it just magically disappeared. You cant be even slightly skeptical s2 ep2 because his angers justified with Stella. What i thought was more annoying was a lot of fans hating epidode 3 because Stolas wasnt in it. Its a shame because his design and voice actor are really good. But i feel as of late most episodes he is in as of current should be titled: "more ways in which Blitzø is a douche bag"
And to me s2 ep4 made little sense, all of IMP were rescued by Stolas, Blitzø loves his family so to me it makes little sense for Stolas to get taken by Striker and his response is.

I think the thing about mistaking who Moxie pushed off the boat, while a common mistake, is super understandable. The cinematic language they're using implies Moxie was forced to murder his mum. Cutting straight from him pushing the figure off the boat to the shoe floating up implies a correlation between the two shots. If they didn't want us to think that it could have panned to the shoe having already been floating there for a while. In cinema language it's called the Kuleshov Effect. I think people are being too pedantic getting uppity about a mistake like that when the cinematic language they use directly implies that Moxie was supposed to murder his mum.

When she’s screaming in S1EP2 she says something along the lines of “In OUR bed!”, clearly she had some affection for him if they not only shared a bed but she saw it as a bed they shared. Obviously implying she saw some emotional significance in their shared bed.
And on your point about the portrait, why would Stella go to Loo Loo Land in the first place? Unless it was something Stolas and her were forced to go to (like an opening ceremony, which would make zero sense if I’m being honest) because if she truly hated him she wouldn’t. With how she delivers the line the "our" isn't really focused on. If there was any emotional hurt this word would be emphasized within the sentence. Instead I would interpret this part as her being angry he did it where she sleeps.

Yknow the idea Blitzø is meaning this to be the first time he's seen Stolas hurt, it doesnt really align when Blitzø and him have bdsm sex that includes a bear trap. It shouldve at minimum been before Seeing stars where Blitzø learns how weak Stolas can be without his book. Or he shouldnt have said "i think Stolas is in real danger this time" in the same episode meaning he thought Stolas could get hurt this time. Im not sure how else to take that line it just comes off blatantly contradicting.

I will believe its her with burning hit denial. It's her because if it isn't WOW the story boarders for this scene have done a TERRIBLE job at communicating the necessary information. Also, imps don't have just black horns. During the whole "millie's sister is trans" controversy it was established that all imps have striped, black and white horns, with males having thick white stripes and females having thin stripes.
What I understand is that, loo loo land takes place two or there days later the non-divorce party. And since then they are in the process of getting divorced.

Blitzo saw him get hurt from the beartrap... if he 'can't get hurt'... why is he in a cast? Eh idk.

The thing about the "He can get hurt?" is a Goetia is a higher race of demon with a packed kit of abilities and Blitz doesn't know much else about Goetia other than being high class and powerful. He stopped Striker because he saw him going for a kill irrespective of whether he could get hurt.
He was urgent in the later episode because he needed to get Loona to the hospital but because Millie and Moxxie took over he trusted them and stuck at the hospital. Also Stolas would feign danger to get Blitz's attention.
Also you didn't cover the truth serum sequence? A sequence that was focused on the two subconsciously coming to terms with their self-worth which is why Blitz has characters of his past show up; representing aspects of his failures in life: Being a clown, Being a solo assassin, Being a genuine partner; then seeing Stolas a divine being hold him on a leash like a pet/slave and when he tells them all to STOP FUCKING TALKING! he's coated and left screaming because he sees no value in himself. Moxxie only saw Blitz in a more musical sequence because that's how he confronted his sense of worth to Blitz as a person

Here's my takes:
My interpretation of Stella is that she's just vain. She doesn't hate that Stolas cheated, she cares that it was an imp, who in the most recent episode, is painted as a marginalized demon race. I think she hates Stolas because he openly dislikes her, existing as a political necessity and constant assault on her ego simultaneously. I think the divorce took so long because they are an influential family, a royal divorce is much more visible than a common citizen's divorce. Plus, as an arranged marriage, there's more than just his happiness to consider, not that he should have to consider anything else. His family already forced him into this relationship, they would probably try to guilt him into staying.
My interpretation of the "he can get hurt" line is that this is Blitzo's first time fully connecting that Stolas isn't untouchable. Stolas often treats bodyguard duty as an excuse to be with Blitzo. Combined with his great power, I could 100% understand why Blitzo is shocked that something could actually happen.
Blitzo is avoiding talking about Ozzie's for sure.
I think that, regarding the whole scene where Stolas and Blitz spend the night together/Stolas announces the divorce the next morning, that just because it was a flashback, doesn't mean that it was a long time ago/years ago. I think it was a flashback from the recent past, which is why in the Loo Loo Land episode(where we are in the present at that point) Stella and Stolas are screaming at eachother about the incident, like it happened pretty recently, at least within the last few weeks because you can hear the shock and disbelief Stella has. I think your confusion over the whole thing is because you're assuming that Blitz seducing Stolas happened a long time ago, which was never implied or intended imo.
