Watching this has just made me realize how few audio cues Undertale has compared to other games I’ve seen blindfolded runs of. Major props to you for being able to navigate with so little audio to go off of.
I did a True Saveless True Pacifist run last year, and I ended up going through neutral like four times due to various mistakes. My favorite one was forgetting to give Undyne water, which resulted in an inability to date her due to needing to recover from heat exaustion. I didn't even know that was a possible outcome until I did it.
Guys Shayy was actually cheating the entire time, the blindfold had a hidden mechanism where Shayy could see everything through it. I was the white dot on his wall watching the entire time.
1:27:17 There's actually 3 solutions to this puzzle, and a hidden 4th one that's impossible to play. This third solution is similar to the second one, but you do left instead of neutral for the extra note.
Honestly that sounds super fair!! I would not expect most other people to have the room layouts burned into their memories like I would, seems like a pretty fun way to still do the challenge but without requiring thousands of hours of memorization :P

Therefore, we aren't shown anything about Frisk falling down. As for Asriel, that's just him making his own guesses, although the fact he stopped before making darker suggestions may imply that Frisk wasn't comfortable with him mentioning the topic
@@Anton15243 oh, you make a very good point there, after all we name the first fallen human so the cutscene just before the naming also being of that first human and then continuing from where it left while SAVEing Asrial makes sense. Yeah you are also right, we have absolutely no idea what Frisk did before the game and after the game if we choose the option to go on their own, hell basically the only thing that Frisk does in the entirety of the game and stops being a self insert character is saying their name when Asrial finally realizes that the last fallen human isn't their long dead best friend and asks for their name. Not even forgiving and comforting Asrial was their choice! At least Flowey says that Frisk is content being on the surface when he asks us to not reset when you open the game after doing the True Pacifist Ending but I can't help but wonder if Frisk all right and whether or not their personality changed after the ending like Kris's personality changes when we start playing as them. So Frisk exists as a obedient vessel unlike Kris and a self insert character that also potentially has a sad backstory if Asrial's guess is anything to go by, we can even sell their soul at the end of the Genocide Ending (if the soul itself is Frisk's in the first place since Chara says the soul was the player's but i will just assume it is Frisk's because Frisk being soulless before the game started is a huge stretch, it is probably something similar to Kris where we just take control of their soul) that removes the possibility of giving them the control after the True Pacifist because Chara or whatever you named them will just take over. No wonder Kris doesn't like us in control, i wouldn't want to be like Frisk either

Honestly that sounds super fair!! I would not expect most other people to have the room layouts burned into their memories like I would, seems like a pretty fun way to still do the challenge but without requiring thousands of hours of memorization :P
@@ShayyTV thank you, I forgot to record greater dog because it was my first try, and I got so incredibly lucky. The undyne chase 2 only took an hour. Undyne is going to take hours of memorizing.

i feel that blindfold challenges deserve an artistic recreation of the player's visualization of the maps lol. like im really wondering exactly how much you remembered was in the rooms, and how much you weren't conscious of because the details werent important. basically i just wanna know what details you blanked on that never mattered or got in the way.
like did you remember which beds in true lab didnt have the sheets tucked in? when in undyne's house, were you at all conscious of the position of the piano or the door to her room? Were you conscious of the bone painting in sans and papyrus' house?

To be fair, we never get any confirmation that they actually climbed the mountain. Maybe someone dropped them into it against their will, we don't know.
@@Anton15243 if the starting cutscene is something to be believed, the human known as Frisk has climbed the mountain alone and the only reason why they did this that we know of is that after True Pacifist, when you talked to Asrial at the starting point, him commenting on how the reason why Frisk climbed the mountain can't be a good one, *insert sad backstory that can make a child climb a mountain that nobody has ever returned from here*
@@fallendown8828 About the intro, the last shot of it is exactly the same as the first shot in the "His Theme" sequence, which I take to mean that the character portrayed isn't Frisk but rather the first fallen child. Therefore, we aren't shown anything about Frisk falling down. As for Asriel, that's just him making his own guesses, although the fact he stopped before making darker suggestions may imply that Frisk wasn't comfortable with him mentioning the topic
@@Anton15243 oh, you make a very good point there, after all we name the first fallen human so the cutscene just before the naming also being of that first human and then continuing from where it left while SAVEing Asrial makes sense.
Yeah you are also right, we have absolutely no idea what Frisk did before the game and after the game if we choose the option to go on their own, hell basically the only thing that Frisk does in the entirety of the game and stops being a self insert character is saying their name when Asrial finally realizes that the last fallen human isn't their long dead best friend and asks for their name. Not even forgiving and comforting Asrial was their choice! At least Flowey says that Frisk is content being on the surface when he asks us to not reset when you open the game after doing the True Pacifist Ending but I can't help but wonder if Frisk all right and whether or not their personality changed after the ending like Kris's personality changes when we start playing as them.
So Frisk exists as a obedient vessel unlike Kris and a self insert character that also potentially has a sad backstory if Asrial's guess is anything to go by, we can even sell their soul at the end of the Genocide Ending (if the soul itself is Frisk's in the first place since Chara says the soul was the player's but i will just assume it is Frisk's because Frisk being soulless before the game started is a huge stretch, it is probably something similar to Kris where we just take control of their soul) that removes the possibility of giving them the control after the True Pacifist because Chara or whatever you named them will just take over.
No wonder Kris doesn't like us in control, i wouldn't want to be like Frisk either
