Buying used 980 ti's is not that smart to be fair, only if you sell them fast in a pc or something. Those cards can die especially after so many years of usage, My 980 ti died like a month ago and I took good care of it her entire lifespan so it can happen to anyone especially after 4-5 years. Never buy used cards, that old, if you plan to use them yourself at least. I got a 5500 xt at a decent price and is using only 100w with undervolt, It's so much colder and fans don't even go higher than 35% all that at 90% of a 980 ti performance so It's clearly not worth buying a powerhog 980 ti.

Yeah, they're going nuts... i am glad i had a couple of "broken" RX580s back in spring and gradually worked on them while lockdown... typically you don't sell many PCs in summer, so right now is the time to cash out and hope for the new stuff after xmas
If you give a warranty like I have heard you say give for graphics cards you refurbished, you are a better deal than almost anyone out there, because your warranty will take people past the initial possible failure time and almost guarantee their machines from you are good for the next 3+ years. The 1660 super is still an excellent card that has uses beyond gaming. Someone needing a used deal probably does not have a high-end monitor. I am more wondering how you can possibly find the time even working 16 hours / day to turn all of this stuff into usable gaming PCs.
Is that wallpaper engine you have running on your monitors in the background? The only reason I watch you is for the hustle and they way you turn "junk" into treasure.
@@techyescity I also love the stinger but bro think about it the more room you have the more you can carry, but then again i suppose you can drive in style with the stinger
@TechYesCity, Hi, Mate. Hello from SC, USA. I got a question? What is the model of those monitors you show in this video you hooked up to your main rig? I would love to get them here in America if they are available. Bye for now.
Just a quick one. These Windows Keys. Can they be used anywhere around the world? Looking at getting a copy of Pro as I have purchased a new Mobo and my copy came with a digi licence and no way to transfer over to a new board that I know of (Just plugging in my m.2 boot drive with Windows 10 pro won't work will it?) Thanks for the great video again. Love these used part hunts and it really makes your channel unique. Glad I was able to come across you and have been binging your old videos.

In the UK flipping gaming PC's at the moment is almost pointless, as the parts are so expensive there is just no profit in it. Fixed a laptop and made a good profit on that, but gaming PC's are a nightmare here!
@Seventh Taco offering 30-40 USD for a 580 is literally a scam itself. Them 580s are on sale in local 2nd hand tech stores here in uk for like over 100 GBP.
@Seventh Taco Wanted to put together a build from AliExpress with a Xeon 1246 v3 on a Asus B85M Gamer MOBO. But looking at the prices for equivalent gaming PC's on ebay they can sell for the same price as the cost of all the parts, so its pointless. Some PC's seem to have sold for higher but its not common, so I may get lucky but its a risk! $30-40 for an RX580 is just a crazy expectation! As 'yeahh buddy' said they go for over £100 here.
@@techyescity Pretty much always been like this, bit worse now I guess. Its England, everything is overpriced here! Some of the deals I see you get on parts are just so cheap in comparison. If you did the 'Turning $100 Dollars into a High End Gaming PC' in the UK it would take you about 5 years!! ;)
Do you/can you build PCs with customers Steam libraries built in? e.g. Incorporate a bunch of the free games in those 500GB HDDs? Is that what the 2nd hand market wants/expects?
Hey man, thanks for bring all these good content to the internet. You successfully dragged me from new parts market like MSY to eBay, Gumtree and FBM 2 years ago. I was surprised about how well a second hand parts can run after I jump in the used PC market. At this PC parts generation changing time, do you think it is worth to get hands on a use Titan X maxwell? If you do, how much should be an acceptable price? Thanks mate. Keep up what you are doing on this channel, it’s great!
Titan's are hard to come by (after all a whole lot weren't sold), though I find you can usually score them for pretty cheap, just have to wait for them to come up. Maxwell 12GB should go for about $300-350 if you are lucky enough.

Sad season for used GPUs right now. Hopefully it'll get better soon
Yeah, they're going nuts... i am glad i had a couple of "broken" RX580s back in spring and gradually worked on them while lockdown... typically you don't sell many PCs in summer, so right now is the time to cash out and hope for the new stuff after xmas
@@anno5936 if we can actually get them lmao
out of stock everywhere
Yeah wallpaper engine is amazing.
That was pretty hardcore, I love it. Keep up the good work.
Have I been hearing Command & Conquer Red Alert music in your videos lately?
How much you pay for x399 MSI gaming pro with AMD 1950X plus EK water block I am in USA
Dude i think it's about time you got your self a small van or something
I love the stinger so much though :P
@@techyescity I also love the stinger but bro think about it the more room you have the more you can carry, but then again i suppose you can drive in style with the stinger
@@techyescity You need an A-Team van!! Imagine how many systems and parts you could pack in.
The Stinger is so impressive for holding all of that hardware!!!
Brian I must know how much were the 3600 ryzen cpus with bent pins I'm interested to know.
$50 AUD, I have missed out on them twice now by like a day, someone always beats me to them even though the listings were up for over a week :\
i wish you were here in europe. 2080ti, kraken x52 and x63, ryzen 1700x, 600 euros. not bad!
@TechYesCity, Hi, Mate. Hello from SC, USA. I got a question? What is the model of those monitors you show in this video you hooked up to your main rig? I would love to get them here in America if they are available. Bye for now.
lg bx 55" / cx 55"
Just a quick one. These Windows Keys. Can they be used anywhere around the world? Looking at getting a copy of Pro as I have purchased a new Mobo and my copy came with a digi licence and no way to transfer over to a new board that I know of (Just plugging in my m.2 boot drive with Windows 10 pro won't work will it?)
Thanks for the great video again. Love these used part hunts and it really makes your channel unique. Glad I was able to come across you and have been binging your old videos.
I just got an RX 550 for 50.00. It is the 4GB version. I hope that is a good deal. I am hoping I can find a couple of X58 motherboards for cheap. I love working with Xeon.
550 is ok...there was a listing for xfx r9 270x 45$ usd shipped...was gunna get one for my cousin but waiting to get paid and they sold out lol
Any new thoughts on your stinger, you've had it for a bit now, have there been any surprises good or bad? (it's on our short list for next car)
Yesterday I picked up an MSI GTX 1060 Armor 6gb for £40, I'm also picking up another 1060 for the same price and a GTX 1660 TI 8gb for £70
Use the ryzen 5 2600 deal in one of those retro cases you picked up a while back
3:30 that professional graphs thou!!!
Jokes aside, love your vids man!!
i bought an older asus mobo almost exactly like the one at 12:08 but it has four ram slots
I hear me some Frank Klepacki "Command & Conquer" music ... I approve.
My best deals were a 360 auzzie Rx 5700xt and a 30 dollar x370!
Mine were an rx 570 for 80usd and a 500gb 7200rpm hdd for 15usd and 49" 4k hdr smart TV for just over 150usd and also a gtx960, i5 4460, 16gigs of ddr3 1600, z97 gaming 3 mobo, cooler master mb511 case, 1tb 7200rpm hdd no power supply pre assembled system for 300usd
Brian do a CPU - GPU - SSD list recommendation for black friday or Holidays
:(, is that because you guys are in hard lockdown now?
@@techyescity Pretty much always been like this, bit worse now I guess. Its England, everything is overpriced here! Some of the deals I see you get on parts are just so cheap in comparison. If you did the 'Turning $100 Dollars into a High End Gaming PC' in the UK it would take you about 5 years!! ;)
@Seventh Taco RX580 Loot Box!
Queensland pc gaming community is bigger then I thought 😅
Yep im part of it lol
Same
Yep
Been watching that lightening card for a while now, just cant get over the boarder. It’s a great buy.
@@scoobydoo199123 The guy is veryyyyyyyy slow to reply lol
great content as always - whats with the lack of colour grading - everything looks like its still in the flat profile.
Where did you get that matrix animated wallpaper it looks awesome
Btw Bryan how come your camera is kind of foggy could be just the camera or the weather in australia
right here i sold 2 mid range pc´s in 2 months covid is hiting hard in portugal and i was working from home now i had to buy a store to get visibility due to people staying at home and less movement means less bizz for areas out of city center
It will be interesting to see if we get lots of 1080ti on the market as now there is a worthwhile upgrade , thanks AMD !
Yea would love to see that ಠ‿↼
seems like someone managed to run command and conquer without any audio stutter.. :)
Rx550 and 560 parts aren't bad rn, just got one to flip at around $40
