Absolutely! It's all driven by software and you upgrade when your hardware no longer runs your software. I just upgraded this summer from an eleven year old AMD Phenom II X4 945 because I could no longer run the software I wanted. My new rig is Ryzen 3600 on a B450 board and baring some major revolution in software should last me another 10 years.
I'm honestly so glad that I couldn't get my hands on a 3080. After one month of trying to get it, I gave up and only after that was when I realized my 1070 ti still runs everything I want perfectly fine lol. Now I don't want to upgrade at all.
My PC is 8 years old (i7-4930k). The only thing I've done is upgrade the RAM to 32GB, Installed an SSD and a 1080ti. It runs all games at max or high detail settings. People get sucked in by marketing hype and benchmark results. The reality is, most old PC's if paired with enough RAM and a GPU will still feel fast.
MY last upgrade wasn't even an upgrade. It was build a slightly newer system to give my other half a good Hand me down, not a 15yo dell with a Core 2 duo.,
This. I can still run all my games at 60 fps at the resolution and settings I am happy with, so there is no need for me to upgrade just yet. Probably the few things I would upgrade would really mean I have to upgrade basically everything since I am using an old ass FX series cpu and mobo and my ram is still ddr3, so I would need to upgrade pretty much everything, including my AIO watercooling since the bracket needed for AM4 sockets is no longer manufactured and coolermaster lied about it being widely available.
My friend tells me the processor Im going to buy is +- 4x as fast as the one I have now. And also 4x the RAM I have atm. Apparently my 8gb RAM isnt good enough anymore today xD
@@FieryKanata you genuinely only need 16gb for modern gaming. 32 if you want to model/animate on the side. 64 is only necessary for movie-tier rendering, your over spending if you're getting that much
I think videos like this one really show that Jay is interested in helping his viewers, not in satisfying the needs of manufacturers. No manufacturer would support this message, because they want people to buy as much of the newest stuff as they can. Thank you for being honest and showing you're primarily loyal to your audience.
Not to mention that a major advantage of pc in terms of price is their modularity, so you only need to spend the money when you can afford to, manufacturers would love to get away from giving choice to consumers and force you to spend a lump sum on a pre-built machine
I mean realistically today manufacturers have enough demand they don't need jay shilling atm. him keeping this message consistent even when sales are low and manufacturers would like/need more people buying means a lot more than this video at this time (which ofc all kudos to Jay he's always consistent and proven loyal to his fans)
Something I have told my customers since the early 90s. Only time this doesn’t apply is if the cache on a HDD/cpu starts failing (a rare occurrence in the whole scheme of things), but that’s then a case to upgrade/replace.
When thinking about upgrading ask yourself these questions 1. Does my current build run what i want to run 2. If i upgrade will i see any improvements that matter to me 3. What sacrifices am i willing to deal with to stick to my budget
so i bought a prebuilt and it for the last few months it has been running games not that well. like fps dropping massively on lowest graphics and freezing. i have 8gb of ram and not sure much other specs. would just selling and buying a new pc be smarter or should i upgrade parts?
@@crystalparrot4985 It depends on how much your PC is. You can upgrade but the cost is like buying a PC depending on parts you want to upgrade. You might as well just build/buy a new one. You can upgrade it by adding RAM and Adding SSD and maybe buying a GPU for it. But if youre gonna replace the CPU and motherboard its a bit expensive. If youre gonna total all of this cost or even at least the first three then its much better to just save up and build a new one
@@crystalparrot4985 8 GBs of ram is simply not enough for current games. 16 GB of ram is standard nowadays. unless you are talking VRAM in your GPU. then still 8 GBs is low for games coming out now currently. 12-16GB of VRAM is what a person buying a new GPU would aim for to have high frame rates at high graphic settings. a prebuilt PC isnt terrible especially for people who are nervous about spending a lot of money and not knowing a lot about how to actually put it together. some prebuilt PCs dont build with the idea that the consumer will want to upgrade their PC down the line. this means enough room in the case to change a part for something else and compatability on parts.
One and Two is how I upgrade my PC. 2020 December I upgraded. My old computer was running Cyberpunk at 30fps on medium. My new computer runs it at 60fps on Ultra with medium Ray tracing. Now 3 years later my computer is still going strong. Just upgraded my ram from 16gigs to 32gigs. Sadly my mother board only supports DDR3 2666mhz.
In another (more recent) video where you asked what kind of videos we'd like to see, I would LOVE to see you doing builds and benchmarks with so-called "obsolete" hardware that can be found in new old stock or used markets. I know you were in LTTs "Scrapyard Wars" so something similar to that but not necessarily in a competition format.
I was a little taken back by the new build I used a Ryzen 5 1600, MSI B450 and a EVGA GTX460 that I had lying around and it plays all the games I like really smooth. WOW at 60fps, Valorant at over 200 fps and Rocket League at a smooth 60 fps. I never would have thought this possible. Cheers to really old video cards.
@@crom558 those older GTX cards are still really good. Pairing it with newer hardware like you did, definitely gave it a LOT more breathing room. My original plan was to build a new PC around my 1070... sadly, the 1070 died before I could do a new build... And, because of the GPU shortage, I ended up saying "f-it" and I bought a prebuilt, so I could actually get a GPU, lol

@@joshuamw93 my temps have been really cool but it probably has a lot to do with the games I run, which consist of WOW, some steam games and PS2 emulation. Aside from that normal every day to day use like browsing and emails run really fast. Hope that helps.
people on the newegg discord server are actually pretty nice, i posted my pc build/written specs, and the replies back surprised me. they suggested the parts that i should upgrade, but they also told me i should only upgrade if i feel its necessary, they didnt try and categorize my pc as obsolete, poor,, or not to their liking. they left out all their personal feelings about the build, so huge respect to the newegg discord community
I was running the same rig but decided it was time to go for 3080 but with an amd processor. Only regret is I didn't wait a couple weeks to get the new amd processor.
I have the same processor with a 1050ti. It's no longer happy with 60fps at medium settings. So I've just bought a 1650 super. My goal has always been just to have my pc keep up with consoles. But with them going ray tracing among other things that requires a full system overhaul. I'm not ready for that spend just yet. So the 1650 is a nice stop gap. I game in 1080p anyway.
This is so true man. I'm a big strix products fan and this month it really hurt my wallet because I wanted to go with strix stuff and I could get the same stuff for cheaper
That doesn´t make sense. Brand loyalty is just customers being loyal to a brand if it ensures reliability in service and products. Bad management hurts customers and brand loyalty. In other words brand loyalty is a passive phenomenon. Brand loyalty "gets" not "does"
@@Marauder1981 Indeed, you understand the concept. I dropped out, so probably better than me lol. but There are lengthy lectures and many books written on the ties between what you are talking about and creating brand loyalty if you are interested.
I feel like after 5 years or when a part breaks is when you should start thinking about upgrading. I personally start looking into pc's again at the 4 year mark to return my knowledge and then upgrade on year 5
This a rule I follow too; however when I looked at my receipt for my motherboard, I found out it is close to being 7 years old. Another thing I've noticed my machine is running a bit sluggish.
@@divinedragon88 yeah I take awhile to make decisions so it usually ends up being 6 years. I bought a 5700xt but since then I've waited like a year to upgrade my parts cause I was to buy the mobo and cpu on sale

Yes, but sometimes when your 2700x finally kills the VRM in the cheap UD3 motherboard you need to replace it with a Aorus x570 Master. At least that’s what I told my wife today. Mmmm shiny ...
@@brucegordon2985 Still rocking my 2700x on a b450. Couldn't be happier. A gpu change is the only thing I'm contemplating from Amd or waiting entirely for the next generation to compare again. Not digging what Nvidia has this go around.
I have builds for my kids at my house and theirs. That way when I upgrade, say, a video card, everyone gets an upgrade down the line. It has made my upgrades far more rewarding because multiple people win.
You need an upgrade when your system can't run the games or apps you want to run. Bottom line. Update: Ok, I guess I should have said, upgrade if you feel the need to, not because there is a new video card out or because someone thinks you should.
Then i needed an upgrade from 9 years ago when i got my first pc and even now with a different pc i still need an upgrade according to your requirements 🙃
Still rocking my 3770k build I did back in 2013 when I first found your channel. Since then, I've upgraded the GPU and added an aio when I decided to overclock. Currently gathering parts for a new build, but for being 8+ years old this pc still does everything I need it to.
Most games are designed to run on a wide range of hardware. I like to upgrade every 5 years or so. GPU first, then everything else the next year. Usually works out well. Also gives you time to save up for a full upgrade.
Yup... I got caught up with what a 'friend' told me about my build lol Like yeh there was A FEW things that needed work over time but the elitist are just in a completely different headspace. They're out of touch with reality in terms of budget atleast lol
Some people fall for the placebo effect. I have a buddy that will fire up a game we played before because there was an update. He won't read the update and he'll tell me how nice the graphics are now. The graphics are the same, the update was inventory optimization, drop chance or something to that effect.
Thank you for this enlightening video, it is really appreciated. I am a 68 year old retiree/gamer (for over 20 years) who does have a tight budget and it has been almost 15 years since I “built” (I specked it out and had it built) a computer (the computer I have now was a store bought, about 5 years) and I sorta dropped out of keeping up my knowledge up to date. I am trying to get back into it. After this I will wait as my current store bought is playing Battlefield 1, 4, & 5 and Titianfall well enough. Keep up the good work, not everybody has a big budget.
It is not just GPU's. I am a wannabe woodworker. Wood has just about tripled in price. I use woodworking as therapy. Can't do that any more. Gas has gone up as well as everything else. See...No.46 is doing a good job. Better than No.45!
@Klausbärbel Fömm Yes, but apple did have a reputation for slowing older models down so consumers would buy newer models. They don't do this now because of the potential lawsuit they had on their hands but there are still people who don't think apple has changed.
No apple would never do anything like that........ I mean it's not like they would ever try to trick people into buying their new product (insert eye roll) lol
Jay you and your team are great. Always letting us know when we need to pump the breaks and stop impulse buying. I signed up for the evga list for an rtx3080 ftw back when the cards came out and finally got the email to grab mine. I went through the check out and looked at the price (about 1000 usd) and thought to myself, my 2070 super does so well there is no way I can justify $1000 for a new card.
The only response to this in opposition would be that at the time if you did find one for $1k you could've probably turned around and sold your 2070 for 800-1200 just because other people were that desperate...maybe could've even made a few bucks.

Bingo! There is premium tier, normal tier, budget tier, and discount bin :) Got an i7 GTX 1070 laptop on clearance after the GTX 2000 series became the new hotness that I am very happy with. Probably won’t upgrade to 3000/5000 for another two generations.
Well done. My theory is dont upgrade until my computer is not performing as I want or I can do something appreciably better with the upgrade than I can now. I wasnt happy with my computer a couple years ago. I had a I5 with a gtx 970. It wasnt fast enough but played games fine, I upgraded everything but the GPU and I was happy as hell with my computer. I saw no reason for the 1000s cards as it stlll wouldnt let me play at 4k like I wanted, even the 2000 cards wouldnt unless I was going 2080 TI and if I have a 970, I think its fair to judge what I think of that kind of money for a GPU. Now I figure I can get 4 or 5 years out the 3080 and thats an acceptable value to me, so if its ever for sale I'll buy one. Still not willing to buy AMD, dont trust the drivers, but my patience could get the best of me if AMD is actually available.
I decided back in early september that I wanted to build a computer. My budget was supposed to be around $1000. After putting parts together I quickly realized that $1300 was more realistic for me. Then ampere was announced. Then amd 5000 series was announced. Then big navi was announced. My new budget is well... nonexistent. I'm building a 5800x/radeon 6800xt pc now. $2000 is about where I'm at. Please kill me. I don't need this good of a pc but I want it so bad.
ah yeah the newer parts are getting a little too expensive these days i had a plan for upgrading then so many chipsets from last gen to this gen and then the next gen cards are soo much better gpu wise and one money base line of x amount turned into wait till this amount then the supplys of the items turned it into what about 3000 or more for overpriced stuff i thought nope keep waiting lol.
I usually upgrade between 6-7 years. Reason is because tech seems to change dramatically about 5 years, but always hang on to your tech for a while until the reviews are in.
me too i have a RTX 2070 FE Super and dont plan on a upgrade til RTX 3070 is more available and such only reason i will upgrade is when i upgrade my mobo and get the new Alderlake cpu and the new DDR5 mid 2021 but at the moment i am running everything fine at the highest settings in games mostly new 1440p 100-200FPS , but i have been using my mobo and cpu since 2014 with intel X5690 and no issues lmao so ive had time too save and i am sure my new platform will be stable and last for years again ..
This was made around 3rd quarter 2020. Gpu prices were bad but the shit hit the fan within the last 2 months. With the global chip shortage, even manufacturers are having trouble with stock for their current cards let alone new ones!

I've been running a 1060 for 5 years now and still runs great. Probably going to hold off on upgrading for a couple years when it becomes more obsolete.
It won’t become obsolete until 2030 most likely for the 10 20 and 30 series cards since they are so good they can run any game at 60+ fps as long as you have optimized settings

I went from an i5 6400, 1050 2GB, 8GB DDR3 setup in an Acer case to a 5600X, 3070 OC, 32GB DDR4 art piece. My original PC was more than great at playing the games I grew up with, but with the new console generation not being appealing at all, and my newfound interest in VR due to Half-Life Alyx, I have to admit that there was a part of me that felt like I would have been settling for "weak" hardware if I had gotten a 3600X, 16GB, and some GPU barely predating RTX when I nearly gave up on getting the new stuff due to shortages. I blame wanting the absolute perfect experience with Half-Life Alyx after waiting over a decade for a new entry; it drove me insane trying to find those parts to the point where when I finally obtained the GPU after initially wanting a 3060 Ti instead, I felt as if a 3070 wasn't even going to be able to handle it properly despite it being more powerful than one of the best cards at the time of the game's release. It took more rewiring than expected to get me to calm down from that mindset. It's fun to get caught up in the hype of the new stuff, but don't let it hold you back from continuing to enjoy the build that gave you happiness in the time that you've had it.
I built my first computer earlier this year having no clue what I was doing. I bought what I could afford that was in stock and I'm proud of what I was able to put together not because I have the most high end gamer rig money can buy but because I jumped into the deep end of a knowledge base I was not comfortable with and learned how to do something new. I was able to take that knowledge and do a fresh install on an old Dell pc I used in my workshop for cnc projects that I had forgotten the password for and had for 2 years been a pile of e waste in the garage and is now back to running. If my new rig ever can't run what I need it to run I can upgrade it but I'm happy with what I have
Exactly. If you power up your pc, play games and dont feel like spending more money, it's not time to upgrade. If you play games and they don't run the way you want and have the cash to upgrade, it's time to upgrade. Everything else is pointless.
I also have a 1070ti and a i5 3570k. Yeah, I bought a 5800x but the 1070ti will still be in my system, that thing will do just fine for a couple more years.
Thank you Jay, I have a laptop 1050 and have enjoyed using it for years, and running integrated graphics before that, I'll be ready to upgrade when the times right and not out of peer pressure.
I had a sli 980ti setup and felt the sluggish performance kick in on some new games so decided to get a whole new setup (3080), and gave my 980 setup to a mate (his old pc was a 700 series). Best thing I've done this year, upgraded a mate for free who can't afford a PC
For anyone reading this one year post-upload, I was considering upgrading my AMD system from a 1800x to a 5xxx series cpu and from an R9 390 to a 6xxx range gpu. Looking at what I needed to do to have this new cpu supported on my old motherboard, I found out getting my motherboard up to speed on compatibility by updating BIOS already improved my performance drastically, even visually, to an extent that I'm now considering not upgrading my cpu at all for now and am now seeing if I can do the same magic as to not needing a new gpu either. I may get a new case first, as I've noticed my old build struggles more over high temperatures than anything. The reason your pc might be slow is likely not the hardware by itself.
Hey man, so thought I’d ask as I’m watching this vid due to a problem that sounds a lot similar to what you were experiencing, but I have a question, so this time last week, my pc was completely fine, I’d 4 years old but still runs smooth, I have an intel i5 7600k, 16gb ram and a gtx 1070 8gb, it was great, but I downloaded a windows update 2 days ago and now it’s ruined, cpu constantly runs at 100% or close to that, I checked task manager and it’s showing that apparently I only have 1 cpu core, it’s not, it’s a 4 core. I’ve read about it and apparently sometimes when you do an update you MoBo can bug out or it can cause you’re pc to think it only has 1 core, so to fix it you should try updating bios, but I’ve tried to look up how to do that and can’t figure it out, would you be able to help me out please?
Sorry about the long message, just for extra info as well, I chose the parts myself and built it myself too, I was only 16 at the time so looking back I’m not sure if I picked the best parts for my budget but I did do a lot of research at the time, and it worked really well until last week, it just bugs out and won’t even open my games anymore 😭 I don’t know how to fix my baby
@@mcpcnoob106 BIOS updates differ depending on the manufacturer of your motherboard. Best to check on their website for exact how-to's, you'll probably find a link on the page where you have to download the files anyway.
I was so mad when my R9 went into legacy driver support this year. I understand why, it's pretty old, but it's still alive and going strong (which I assume yours is too). I'm not upgrading it until it dies
I'm running RX 580 and it's great. Running a Kaby Lake Pentium. Honestly I like Intel just because of the land grid array vs AMD pin grid. But my new computer will be AMD. With the RX 580, because it still performs great. Looking to Black Friday and Boxing Day for new hardware.
Hell, I'm still running an i5 4790 with DDR3 and two GTX 970s in SLI and every game I've got runs fine with one exception, FS 2020. And I'm sticking with 1080p for the foreseeable future.
Same here, I have a AMD FX 8350 with 16 gb DDr3 1600mhz and two XFX R9 290Xs in crossfire, plays the games I like in high or ultra settings depending on the age of the game, I am not interested in streaming or competitive multiplayer.

Except phone RAM is different to PC RAM. My phone has more RAM than most of my computers but it doesn't mean it's as powerful as them. Different architectures, different use cases.
I have a AsRock z87 Extreme 4 with i5-4670 8gb Ram GTX760 and Windows 7. I built it myself in 2013 and it's still very capable for playing games and music creation using Cubase 9.5. I'm looking to build a new machine soon simply because I'm concerned that it may become unreliable as the caps start to approach their end of life phase. But performance wise - it does everything I need - and it does it well.
In one short vlog, the man addresses not only "choices based on personal standards" for computers but it also applies to politics, gender, careers, partners, life and the universe. Great guidance, Jay!!
@@Adama.1 agreed. But I see this as judging other people's outcomes(choices) based on the difference in personal standards between the two parties. I think Jay was pointing out that we are in danger of becoming so self absorbed with our standard of 'rightness' that we just pour vitriol on any one who doesn't align wiith our point of view. Hence the current state of every Reddit, UA-cam, Yelp comment section.
I'm putting my first pc together and hearing Jay talk about "outdated" hardware from a year ago isn't that old reminded me that I'm getting a 9600k. While it's not bad I'm pretty sure it was the bare minimum I could get away with sooooo...
I second what Jay said. I've a i5-2500k w/ 1060-6GB and I'm still debating whether or not to build a new rig. As long as my fps is more than 60 fps at high settings, I'm happy.
The 1060 6gb is a great gpu, so is the 2500k. Recently built a few budget pcs with i7 2600, one had a gtx 1060 6gb, the other rx 480 8gb. Almost identical in performance, great 1080p setups.
Do you play warzone? I had a 3770 and my framerate was way too low (40s on top of train or superstore) and i decided to upgrade as its the game I play the most. Gotta say tho, everything else i played, including cod multiplayer ran pretty well
I'm still on a 3770 non k with a GTX1080, 16gb DDR3 and 3 128gb SSD's in Raid-0. Honestly, for the games I play its fine but I'm starting to notice weird and random PC issues and I think its because of aging hardware. So I have a Ryzen 5800X sitting on my desk right now waiting for the rest of my parts to arrive. It is time.
I realise this video is at least a couple of years old, but the message remains. The model numbers and specs change, but the story and advice are constant. It reminds me of the Horsepower Wars of the 60s and 70s. Cars have always triggered competitiveness in their owners, but those decades, I think, peaked out the rivalries, with FORU divisions at GM (two of which have disappeared since) fought Ford, Chrysler, and American Motors and one another for bragging rights at drag strips - and public thouroughfares - all oveer North America. To a degree, designing extra performance in products benefits customers as well as the sales of the manufacturers, but, as you pointed out, advances are sometimes miniscule and even negatively effective. I personally am trying the ols hotrodder's trick, combining old parts from several sources, to try to squeeze more performance out of a beater.
When to upgrade:
1. When it stop working
2. Not meeting minimum requirements of new game/software you want to use
3. You just realize you are rich AF
I upgrade mine when it starts struggling with games.
4. You actually need a new PC that is around the same spec as your old one and you have budget to spare.

My new rig is Ryzen 3600 on a B450 board and baring some major revolution in software should last me another 10 years.

Yea, Jay really seems like a nice person.

Thank you Jay, I have a laptop 1050 and have enjoyed using it for years, and running integrated graphics before that, I'll be ready to upgrade when the times right and not out of peer pressure.

Jay: "Don't let people tell you to upgrade."
My 980ti: *Suddenly dies*
Yeah its time to upgrade :'(
Lucky and unlucky at the same time. I'm mouth watering over the idea of a 6800 or a 6900 😏.
lol that's literally me. my 1080ti is slowly dying and i'm just hoping that I can find a 3080 before it kicks it
Had the same thing happen to my 980ti...feelsbadman😔
I had a sli 980ti setup and felt the sluggish performance kick in on some new games so decided to get a whole new setup (3080), and gave my 980 setup to a mate (his old pc was a 700 series). Best thing I've done this year, upgraded a mate for free who can't afford a PC
How are these newer cards already dying while I run a 660 and a 750Ti 24/7? (using the 660 for Folding@Home)
This was the gamer’s version of therapy.
@@indus3270 okay man thankyou
I was so mad when my R9 went into legacy driver support this year. I understand why, it's pretty old, but it's still alive and going strong (which I assume yours is too). I'm not upgrading it until it dies
Jay: "Is your PC obsolete?"
Me: Stares at my RX 480 nah bb you're good enough for me.
Rx 480 ouch at least get a 580
My 570 handles all games I play and I can get hover frames than my freind with a 2080ti
Still running an RX480 too. It actually still shocks me how well it still runs things
I got a 580 after my 970 died and its all ive ever needed
@Thomas B Gaming yup but alot of people want that you believe its mainstream
1080p is fine tbh, refresh rate is really where its at imo
same here but with a gtx 1080
@@frongillor I'll admit that I'm running into issues with Control, now it's "free" on games pass.
When my friend's cellphone has as much RAM as my Desktop
Well my mom phone has 6gb ram and mine is 4gb ram. Can relate.
@@nezunish-898 mine has 8 gigs of RAM
well, ram is cheaper , and doesnt equal speed.
but sure! its always impressive
that shows bloat ona PHONE
haha
go get gmail's phone plugin and take your lowest plan
make calls free anywhere out
and if in usa you can get a in number
Jay: "Is your PC obsolete?"
Me: *stares in FX-4300*
lol my is 4100 fenom amd
Don't feel bad. I'm stuck on a tablet until I can get my hands on the 5600x. Hopefully my local Bestbuy will have them in stock soon.
Its ok. I stuck with my fx 6300 for 6 years. Still love it, first cpu I bought on my own.
Good old skylake i7 still going
Good old Haswell-E. Still rocks

In one short vlog, the man addresses not only "choices based on personal standards" for computers but it also applies to politics, gender, careers, partners, life and the universe. Great guidance, Jay!!
Nobody has ever said gender is obsolete
@@Adama.1 agreed. But I see this as judging other people's outcomes(choices) based on the difference in personal standards between the two parties. If person 'X' declares that person 'Y' has a stupid or obsolete or outdated or unpopular outcome, it helps to remember that X is judging Y by X's standards. I think Jay was pointing out that we are in danger of becoming so self absorbed with our standard of 'rightness' that we just pour vitriol on any one who doesn't align wiith our point of view. Hence the current state of every Reddit, UA-cam, Yelp comment section.
This is such a far reach.
Almost identical in performance, great 1080p setups.
its funny how all the 1060 3gb are complaining they cant run games now and the 6gb owners are laughing
That's exactly what I have. Still runs great. I will probably update soon, but going to take my time .

[Pats pc on head]
You're still a good boi.
Do you play warzone? I had a 3770 and my framerate was way too low (40s on top of train or superstore) and i decided to upgrade as its the game I play the most. Gotta say tho, everything else i played, including cod multiplayer ran pretty well
My son uses my old 3770k with a 980ti playing mainly 1080p games. With decent RAM and fast internet, he has a blast with it.
I am still on the non-k :(
I'm still on a 3770 non k with a GTX1080, 16gb DDR3 and 3 128gb SSD's in Raid-0. Honestly, for the games I play its fine but I'm starting to notice weird and random PC issues and I think its because of aging hardware. So I have a Ryzen 5800X sitting on my desk right now waiting for the rest of my parts to arrive. It is time.
@@40kknight Not yet, i just upgraded sli motherboard to siphon more power from gfs i7-3770 cpu with gtx1070 sli cards.
