Yep! If you run IFG instead of Pheromone Canisters it’s even better. The IFG weakens the enemy by 30%, so when the detonators go off it takes off more health. You can typically kill the Hiveguard in one cycle using it
I have to admit, while watching the second and third legs of this, I kept thinking, "I wonder how many times he had to play this to figure out where all those Morkite patches were?" I am amazed, as ever. Loved, so much, the whole kiting about the ghost.
That's an impressive run! Although I've noticed you do not use depositing animation skip, is there some reason for it? Good luck with next runs, Rock and Stone, brother!
Thanks! Honestly, I don’t really like the depositing trick. It saves a couple seconds but I feel like I mess it up a lot. My fingers struggle with the constant button switching lol
Nicely done! That final cave in stage 3 is so tight it's been a nightmare trying to get enough embedded dets into the dread while it turns around. 2:44 and i thought i was the only one that had issues with getting the pheromones to work. I hate it when it does that :/
Thanks! Yeah I practiced the embedded detonators in sandbox mode but it’s really difficult to fully kill the Hiveguard in one cycle (practiced on haz4). You pretty much need to use IFG for it to consistently work
