- Update 2.9 Normal Difficulty (probably). I got much better RNG than my previous run (40:44), but I still failed on VHS to do it in a timely manner. A 35 minute run is definitely on the horizon or even better if I keep practicing. Long way to go until world record :)
not sure time without loads this is the Any% category as I did a skip technically as they are adding a NMS (no major skips) category

at one point i was playing that game in the dead of night and had to mute all sounds. (the worst is the human voice of 'hello? excuse me? When I'm stuck in the key room and hoping for some help but nooooo)

This entity usually tries to escape/exit any lvl as fast if possible, if wanderers end up meeting this entity we suggest to follow him.
If you are fast enough to not lose him within 10 seconds of encounter.

Fun fact: If I remember correctly, if you fuck that clip up you HAVE to get the other two keys, as it will not work with the other locks.
Basically the lock pushes you into the door and if you are at the right spot, it works. But it's a specific set up. Astral Spiff speed ran this game and he explains that glitch pretty well, but its been a bit since I watched that particular video.

You moving so fast and chaoticaly using your mose around made it seems as you actually were a scientist who knows what tasks he has, what he might encounter and how to deal with it. But nonetheless shitlessly scared. It felt more emersive then an actual first playthrough. I enjoyed watching it

Tip: The part with the VHS tapes can be done WAY faster. Run back and forth to the fire alarms and he can't hear you for some time. It runs to the alarm and stays there until it's off. You wouldn't have died either mid-run.

I feel like there were so many parts where messed up but somehow your mechanics were so good and u had all the passwords locked in so u were still able to pull it off. I wouldn’t be surprised if I saw him hit a back to back world record

29:19 personally this creeps alot. I saw a dream when i was kid with very similar place like this. There was me and my family members and other kid who chased me and sometimes he just stoppd running and started to sprint again very fuking fast. The dream had similar buildings and the landscape was very similar!!

how did he jumped all the time, the game prevents you by breathing a lot... how did he skipped on 1:02
There is some speedrun tech which explains all of this! Shift jumping is the process of letting go of shift while midair to let the stamina timer reset. The early skip is explained by spamming E as you lean- this is supposed to kick you off but you can abuse it to gain momentum.
