@@benicopter Revisiting this comment now that I've tried h5a and I agree. Tougher enemies had me working hard for kills, and more enemies in combo had me working even harder to secure them. On top of that, player vulnerability made me realize that I can't hurt myself as much as I usually do lol. I think I see myself playing with more and aggressive enemies a lot, maybe player vuln. 1 every now and then.
Loved your intro. It's always fun to hear from you as well as see you guys play. And love how you two talk about some things that only get learned through lots of experience, like how pipe breaks are a good time to get resupplies and that you get a break to regroup during them, also that NOT fixing them makes it so that nothing more spawns until it's done. That's cool to know. Nitra always hides in that biome so well... Yeah, that first resupply did feel early, but you're having to spend so much more ammo on so many more enemies. That pheromone at 6:00 was beautiful. I also loved the pheromone on the oppressor and bulk combination!! Goodness. And ALL those shots of Snoop gathering Enor Pearls while you're frantically laying pipe. I like when you do unusual things like putting dash on a scout! I really liked the callouts of when you both heard spawns, and having played Haz 6 a little more, it's great to hear, and know why it's important. And it's funny how muscle memory triggers from Haz 5 down, on how much health a bug "should" have in order to die from a power hit, and then to *see* you do that and have it NOT kill them is oddly visceral. That's just wrong... but then it's like, oh, right, these guys are tougher. 14:40 so glad you could get the resupply despite the stingtail. And *gosh* that grabber is tanky on this!! That's insane, how much damage it could take. Loved your crowd management through that, but... ooof, that's difficult. 19:27 but I *liked* the pun!! 21:51 Oh my gosh... I might have had stronger words for Snoop's suggestion, but knowing his love for double hazards it's *so* him. xD 22:35 It's always a slasher. That's become a saying with our group. Really love seeing how you two use all those skills and knowledge you've gotten through all this time on a mission you're not speed running, but still getting stretched by the difficulty. I suspect it's still tuned a little too high for most people to tackle, and I've even has 6x2 lovers saying it's tuned too high to be interesting. The 7x2 folks I know think the nitra problem is real, and given how fast you two were going through ammo, even as a duo, it's understandable. Those were entirely appropriate words at the end. They really do need to fix the XP for the higher hazards. Hope this will be a good way for them to see that even folks with skills like you two have a hard time with this... We'll hope. Thanks so much to both of you for this! That was a pleasure to watch.
I really appreciate you taking the time to watch and providing your in-depth thoughts - ALWAYS a pleasure to read through 😃 I’m excited to try some more on this difficulty level. I think with more practice we will definitely learn to be a little more frugal with ammo and speedy with the mission itself.
With 4 men it's like you get 2 swarms at once. And with the buffed up speed and damage you just insta die if caught off guard (as seen by you dying to that slasher, literally one mistake = death). I've played a couple of 4 men more enemies and aggressive enemies (both level 2, so haz5 2200) and it was very fun. Almost felt like modded. But with more ranged enemies anomaly it will literally be 6x2 in vanilla, potentially harder. Because the amount of hvts spawned with the anomaly and modifiers and 4 people is crazy. While player vulnerability I see as just a super sweaty modifier to push for less mistakes, the stronger enemies modifier is just a modifier to restrict 90% of the builds. Buffed up hp is super stupid. Also I still don't fully understand how end scree works, cause it says 133% from the hazard but 153% total bonus. But either way, from what I've heard every modifier in haz5+ adds +4% to the total hazard bonus. So with 2222 you should get 8*4=32% more, so 165% something like that. But maybe it gives less, which is why you got 153 in total, in which case it should be upped significantly, because it sure as hell more than doubles the difficulty compared to haz5 vanilla. In fact it was so stupidly difficult core stone was left untouched. You'd definitely wiped there, those monsters just jump on you and leave behind area denial poodles. With player vulnerability I assume they also just 2 shot.
Yeah we ran several missions with just more + aggressive enemies and it was really fun. The other modifiers just make it too sweaty. And I think the end screen has been bugged. I noticed it after running a few haz5+ missions that none of the XP multipliers were added. Haven't tested it in a few days, but I don't recall it being mentioned in any of the patch notes.
28:12 that not jumping thing usually happens because on the frame you pressed jump you were technically in the air falling and thus unable to jump. It usually happens when there’s a slight dip in terrain and you run across it at high speeds.
I usually don't. I did it for this mission just because the enemies are faster and I wasn't sure what to expect. I probably could've used several other perks like Field Medic or Shield Link instead
I just started the game and i almost have all 4 dwarfs promoted, started to see some videos and guides, but im confused with one thing, in case of armour in the upgrade equipment menu having all upgrade actualy say that you will have like +5 life, but in any other equipment, there is a real improvement in having all upgrades unlock? Bcouse now i dont have resources to unlock all, and just get one per lvl of upgrade to test weapons and overclocks that i have.
Thank you! I’ve tried live commentary and it’s hard for me to multitask and talk while gaming. Maybe I’ll try again and see if I can make something work
@@benicopter That's understandable, especially for speedrun type high tempo content that you usually make. If could you get it down though I think it'd make your videos much more enjoyable.
Is there some particular reason you've chosen the drak with overtuned particle OC as a primary? Asking since I feel like in full haz 5+ some weapons and their overclocks as simply not enough to chew through massive hordes of beefed up bugs. Have you considered using any other loadouts for scout specifically when plaing haz 5+ or do you find it irrelevant compared to other factors (like playstyle, teamplay, prioritization etc.)?
It fits my playstyle really well. The Drak+OPA has terrible bullet spread, so I have to get up close and in the action which is what I love (often to my own detriment). But it shreds the armor and does good damage against small-medium enemies. I will likely try other weapons for Scout; I haven’t had enough time with the haz5+ stuff yet
Bro this was insane! The pure damage from the bugs was brutal, good work man. Also what setup do u use for the plasma carbine? thing was tearing through those bugs
@@benicopter Thanks! Keep up the great work, i just recently found ur channel and im glad i did, always have a great time watching ur vids and cant wait for more to come!
