    In this video I will be installing the banks power pedal monster in my 2019 Ford Ranger. This is not a sponsored video. This pedal monster is insane. The pedal commander is garbage compared to this. If you have a pedal commander take it out and put in a pedal monster. Best bang for your buck,

    It's amazing what the Pedal Monster does. Back in the day you had to change rear end gears, camshaft and intake to get any noticeable gain.

      Yep. And this is very very noticeable.

    Without a doubt the safest way to get the most out of your pedal! You can only change your settings safely while stopped. What I really like about it is that it's stock,just quicker.

      Yo cN change on the fly while moving. As long as your foot isn't depressing the throttle. Let off change setting. Foot back on. Love it!!

    banks allways had good quality.in the 80s mr.banks developed one of the first ford "towing packs" for f250/350 460's that produced more than 500 lb./ft at the crank.i think it was for guy's who tow their trailers to the tracks on weekends.

    If I wasn't such an old man and paranoid about the added stress & strain that puts on universal joints and parts like that, I'd have one.

    • @BeardedFordTech
      @BeardedFordTech  6 місяців тому +1

      It doesn't put any strain on it I'm aware of. Just changed the signal of the fuel curve from the throttle pedal sensor. It makes it smooth. It's not adding horsepower or torque

      @TheBeatenPaths 6 місяців тому +2

      @@BeardedFordTech That's what I mean about being an old man lol. I just can't fathom a quicker 0-60 or quicker 30-90 isn't adding stress to components that weren't designed to take that stress. I'm from an era when someone would put a Stroker into a 1985 S10 and the driveshaft would come up through the box lol.

    Great vidoe. Does the Pedalmoster have a valet mode or a setting to shut off or severally limit the throttle response? Secondly, does the PedalMonster have the ability to lock the OBD port so that no one can access the vehicle computer to start the vehicle? thx.

    • @BeardedFordTech
      @BeardedFordTech  4 місяці тому +1

      Put it back to stock mode with the app of if you have the idash. Whenever it comes on it goes back to the last setting you had it on. Lock the obd port so nobody can start the vehicle? Never seen anyone start a vehicle through an obd port. But no it doesn't lock it. It just plugs into it.

    Would you recommend this to get a little extra for towing? If so, what setting do you think is best?

    • @BeardedFordTech
      @BeardedFordTech  2 місяці тому +2

      Not for towing. It's for performance. I couldn't tell you what setting would be best if you were using it for that (for better acceleration) that would be totally dependent on you and if it feels right for you. Defiantly not track mode though I will say that
