Alfa Romeo had a slow start when they returned back to America a few years ago. When their first-ever SUV was introduced, it quickly became the brand's best-seller... Now, an Italian badge usually means performance is a top priority, so with the 505 HP coming from its twin-turbo Ferrari sourced V6, the Quadrifoglio promises to bring fun back into the equation. Alfa Romeo claims this is the most fun-to-drive SUV in the segment and they're definitely not wrong. And with an exhaust note that sounds like a race car, buyers lucky enough to put one of these in their garage may just forget they're driving around in a 2-ton plus SUV.
The most stylish and well thought out SUV, period. FCA, PLEASE get these to more dealers around the country! These are a huge bang for the buck.

Got a test ride in a Stelvio Quadrifoglio on my birthday and just like you was blown away and couldn't wipe the smile off my face all day!!
I have a red one, and I absolutely love this car. So fun to drive, just respect the car. My son doesn't like the 4 leaf clover on the car, but I do.
I just got a red 2018 used a couple weeks ago. So far am loving mine too.

It’s a performance machine no doubt. My only negative when I was sitting in this vehicle was the shockingly Dodge Dart interior with some leather.
This is insane...it would be like if Lexus put the 5.0L v8 in its NX...

this is the performance king of all crossovers....perfect balance unlike a Jeep SRT Trackhawk thats only good in a straight line or the ridiculously expensive like land rovers bentagays
The next generation of Jeep should be released soon, and it's already confirmed that it will be built off of the Stelvio platform.
Decent test - but launch control is for the Knightsbridge set, i.e, ******s - anyone who can actually drive won’t give a stuff … same with parking or rear knee room. Also re: the loud noise - it sounds great with the valves shut - what it has is epic cross-country pace, and excellent passive and secondary safety. I’ve got a 2018 Milano - which I love, but I want a Quad. 🥰

I drove one of these at a car show. They made everyone sign waivers saying they might be used in a commercial. We were in a really large parking lot mark with the path. I tried to make the tires squeal but that sucker handles like a Porsche 911.

The only thing that is "down" at Alfas is the infotainment system... but seriously who would stay and use it in this type of a vechicle? It's all about the performance. Everything else in this Stelvio /and Giulia/ is pure perfection. 10/10 vechicle!
Looks nice and sounds fantastic. That infotainment screen is horrendous. Like something from 2005. No ventilated seats?? Damn...

Nice SUV but after selling cars for 20 years I have learned that leasing or buying used is the way to go. Cars/SUV’s are getting way too expensive. I have been a car nut my whole life but I’m not rich, so the depression has really cooled my keys over the years. Nice SUV though!!! Great review.

What is Alfa’s build quality comparable to as far as reliability goes? If someone says Lexus..... I’m buying one! Lol. Also, when it comes to parts.... would prices be equal to Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Porsche or would the repairs be higher in cost?

keep on dreaming... ;-)) the new and most expensive and fastest X3 M Competition takes 4.1 secs to 100 km/h: it takes the Stelvio 3.8 secs....... for the last one you need less money to buy it as well .... so, a better deal I'd say ....;-))
