ElecTRONica was the best of the two. Hopefully Club Pixar comes close. We are looking forward to your videos on this since we will most likely miss this. Maybe with TRON Ares comes out in another year, we will get another ElecTRONica.
Love that you share all the closures. I was so sad when I got to Disneyland and the Matterhorn was closed lol, its my dream to go on that someday! Cool about hyperspace mountain! Nice they are adding the music to Galaxy's Edge for fireworks. D23 celebration sounds like so much fun, but I can only imagine the crowds lol! Nice to hear about the hotel specials too. Fantastic video you guys! So informative!
Hi Jim and Crystal. That is really cool that you can place one mobile order for multiple booths and not have to wait in line to place any others. Dapper Day is always fun. I like watching vlogs on it. Tortilla Jo's has been there so long. Sad to see it go, but they were very high-priced for what they served. The ambiance and outdoor patio was the best, though. Look forward to your future vlogs. ~Ali 🎀🏰💖
We will go to the Taqueria but the actual restaurant is very expensive. It has been years since we have eaten at the restaurant and when we were there last, we commented how run down the place looked. What worries us, the replacement Mexican restaurant will be "higher end" and that usually means more expensive.
Just under 3 weeks to go for our next trip! Excited for Soarin' Over California, Hyperspace Mountain ( our favorite version ), new scenes in Star Tours and we are doing the first Star Wars Nite!
Me just now, sitting on my bed at the King's Inn, watching this video just now at the 9:05 mark.......... Boy, I wish I would have watched this video last week when I booked the hotel! 😂😂😂
Great news update, there’s so much going on at this time of year. Season of the Force sounds amazing and I’d love to ride Hyperspace Mountain. The Matterhorn on/off closure is a bit weird, I wonder what they’re doing?
Normally the Matterhorn shuts down after spring break for refurbishment. I think with so many other attractions being down, they want the Matterhorn up and running.
Wow lots of closures going on at the moment. Matterhorn bobsleds always seems to be closed when we are there. That’s really good to know about the Disney Visa discounts! Pixar Fest sounds like they’ve got some fun stuff going on. Just to add, DECA Nationals are at the Anaheim convention center April 27-30 😉 lots of high schoolers running around during that time. Great info as always Jim and Crystal!
Normally Matterhorn goes down this time a year but they might be trying to avoid that with so many other closures going on in the park. Shoot we missed DECA, we also missed Expo West last month which is big. It takes us a few hours to gather all of this info together and sometimes it is hard to tell what the different conferences are for. Thank you so much.
@@AnaheimParkTourist I can't imagine all the research that goes into this kind of video! You guys are amazing. The only reason I know about DECA is because Kiya will be there haha!
Thank you! We just want to help people make the best out of their trip. I hope Kiya has a good time. Are you headed to Disney or skipping this time around?
Hi! Thank you for the kind words. We no longer have magic keys. Typically speaking, you usually cannot stack discounts. That would be amazing if you could!! Thank you for watching ☺️
We used to have Believe Keys but it financially didn't make sense for us for the amount of days we go. If we go three times a year, it is roughly a break even. We thought about long and hard; the overall economy also played a factor in our decision making. If I were to lose my job, we couldn't afford to go, but then we are out 5k in passes. So it was a bit of everything. The channel does make a little bit of money which helps offset costs but, our trips cost way more then the channel makes.
Yes, hopefully we will get more news at D23 this year. We keep saying that DCA needs another E-Ticket attraction and probably one more high omni-mover type attraction to swallow up the crowds. We also hope we get the actual plans around Disneyland Forward. Thank you for watching!
@@AnaheimParkTourist on the bright side it looks like the avengers e ticket is very similar to the ride system used by the spider man ride at universal Orlando. So if that’s true it’ll actually be pretty good! It’s a shame the cancelled the first ride system idea, because it looked really awesome being able to fly your own jetpack seat around. But yes I hope too that we hear something about it at this d23! And no problem thank you for another amazing video!
@dayoldbread1696 thank you! It will be interesting to see what the ride vehicle will be like. I heard something like flight of passage. Either way another ride will be welcomed.
We’re heading there early May and hoping to catch the Pixar fest. I noticed on the website, it says “together forever” nighttime show and “the better together” parade is offered on selected days during the Pixar Fest. however, it doesn’t show exactly what days these events will take place. Do you have any tips on how to check that in advance? Thank you!
Hi! Disneyland is notorious for not updating the entertainment schedule in a timely manner. I’m even looking at todays date on the website and nothing is listed except world of color. But when I check the Disneyland app, it lists the parade and fireworks. I’m not sure why there is such a disconnect. I would keep checking as your dates get closer and especially when the Pixar fest starts, that will help give you an idea of times. In general, fireworks are typically on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, during slower periods and can be nightly during busier times. All weather dependent of course. Have such a fun trip and please reach out if you have any other questions! ☺️
Besides renting a car, what is the fastest/easiest way to get to your hotel from John Wayne? We have always rented a car when flying in but last year paid $800 for a car we only drove to the hotel and back...yikes! Dont want to make that mistake again
The fastest would be to take Uber or Lyft. If you have a lot of luggage or people you will need to order a Uber or Lyft XL. If you prefer to drive, you can also do a one way car rental. We have done that in the past coming from Burbank. We rented from Avis and dropped off right next to the Toy Story lot. The big advantage of this is you don't have to pay parking at the hotels and you can go grocery shopping to get food and drinks. I believe we paid about 105 dollars for a one way rental. Another option is to take EVE, EVE is part of the Anaheim Regional Transit. Off the top of my head EVE costs 15 dollars a person. We have never taken EVE and we can't give you feedback on it.
Thank you again for another helpful video! I appreciate you both and your channel! 😊
Thank you so much for the nice words, the two of us really appreciate it.
Great video. As always very helpful information. Thank you for sharing.

@AnaheimParkTourist that will not be a good thing if they put another expensive option restaurant there. Hopefully it won't be too crazy of prices.
