    Great video for the young guys to understand that the basic bodyweight excersises are the core of building stability and strength.
    I would however slightly improve the form of the push-up: you want your face to be facing towards the ground and not forward when you are doing it - that way you are not bending your neck and lumbar - you want a neutral spine position, keep your core tight and really focus on your lumbar to not cave in. When you start caving in, end the set, rather than doing bad reps that could hurt you.

    Turning 14 in 2 months here! I'm currently the most accurate shooter amongst us hoopers and this is exactly what I was looking for since I'm looking to be comfortable with deep threes
    Update: turned 14 yesterday my accuracy increased a lot over time less goooo

    Thank you. Former football player here that stopped weight lifting and lost my strength over 15 years. I'm weight lifting now and getting stronger for shooting hoops. It's embarrassing when you can't even hit the rim. Thanks for the weight lifting and training tips.

    Hey coach I wanted to ask you a question Have you heard that building up your Core strength can help a player when shooting from perhaps the 3pt line or 4pt line distance probably in the future Because to shoot that far out 14 times a game and make shots consistently can’t just be from strong upper body and strong legs ..WHATS your thoughts 💭

    I need your advice please. So I have a non consistent jumpshot for example, one day I’m knocking done every shot but the next day I can’t hit none of my shot what should I do? One more thing I’m able to get open with my dribble moves but I’m scared that I will make a turnover or miss the shot what should I do?

    • @kadeneirhart4979
      @kadeneirhart4979 5 років тому +1

      You can't be scared. Be confident that you will make every shot. The nonconsistent jumper probably has to do with your mechanics. Focus on your mechanics when you are practicing.

    I hope someone can reply this, I learnt my form watch Steph curry shooting form a lot and the tutorial. I shoot a quite good percentage from mid range but when it comes to 3 point, I find it difficult because I need to use more strength that cause me to lose control of the ball so the accuracy.
    Curry doesn’t jump much when it comes to shooting from mid range to 3s, how can he develop such range with not much using his lower body

      sometimes you just can't, and adding muscle mass is one hell of a journey that might take you at least a year, and after you get it you must keep training or you'll lose all what you worked for.
      it's fuck hard, but worth it, and by the time you achieve this goal it would have been already a habit and a part of your life.
