Great video with lots of wisdom. I would like to add that one of the most important things about the weight room is training proper movement patterns. For example, activating your glutes and not allowing your knees to cave in (knee valgus) during a deadlift and then focusing on that when jumping and landing... very important for explosive power and injury prevention. However, once you gain the right movement patterns, they don't have to be trained in the weight room quite as often.
Yo Coach Great stuff i recently had 3 assists 3 points and a board im playing for my middle school team and this is great. My coach loves this stuff keep posting love it bro.
Use different kind of pick of ups, like swing pick up, tuck with one hand, tuck with two hand, pick up high/low, on youtube there are vid about this. I recommend watching some of those
Should I combine these “body movement strength” workout into my current weighted leg(squats, trap bar deadlifts, calf raises and other plyometrics) workouts or have a total different day for each? Which do you reckon will show better result overall?
ı was wondering should ı do bodybuilding or strenght training for basketball and this video pops for me. I love basketball too much and ı have lack of atlethcism. Just curious about where to start and which ones fit best for me
I have a question, so human to human strength, say you don’t have another human to train against, could you possibly do exercises for your body that are more resistance based, (throwing out an example here) maybe isometrics? Or does it not work like that???
Great question… in my opinion, you can’t replace training with another human to build human-to-human strength. You can build up all the other ones so that it’s easier, but you’ll need other humans too at some point!
Yo can you train me like my legs are trash!!! my hips are weak!!! knees always hurting!!!! flexibility is poor!!!! I was forced to redshirt this season and I want to take this game I love far as a can but I been having this reoccurring problem. I finally went to the doctor and they said I have patellar tendonitis and I have been over using body but I’m in a sticky situation. I gained weight and I been trying to get rid of it but it’s hard because of this injury help!!!!!!!!!!!!
If ur overtraining relax a bit more. Dont do high intensity cardio and workouts do lower intensity. 10,000 steps a day eating enough protein and lower calories you will lose that weight. Then to help with your knees and hips do exercises that strengthen those you can find a lot of things on yt and with flexibility start doing yoga I use Jared McCains early morning stretches routine.
**Important question** With your workouts on youtube how many times should I do the same workout before I switch it up? I feel like I should change it once I've gotten all the aspects of the workout down and can do it with relative ease, so I should change it so I can continue to challenge myself, but what do y'all have to say about it?
@@david.amuiki yeah People won’t be able to rip the ball if you big shoulders and biceps along with grip strength. You can use your off arm to arm bar people with larger biceps
hi my english is not best, you mean when you say paralysis by analysis that someone gets scared of not doing best excersice so they not doing any excersie.

That's great! I hope you improve your scoring and become a better player!
Amennnn
That graph is so good; thank you!! I always embraced training at game speed but that really drove home the point. Great job!!
Hope that a Paul Pierce and Tim Duncan breakdown comes out in the future
yo coach i watched your video before my game today and i dropped 23 points, 4 blocks, 3 steals, and 3 assists (which is what i was missing in my game)

Great video.thanks for sharing. Hoping to see more examples of basketball strength in the camps you'll be running in London in April 😀
For sure! Definitely will
Could you make a vid on pick ups and how to not get stripped on your way to the basket and on the pick up

Appreciate the video, very complex topic!
Could you think about doing a breakdown on Sam Merrill's recent shooting outburst?
Dope video 🙌
Really well explained !!
Wow this is amazing!
Do you have a workout video for these?
Should I combine these “body movement strength” workout into my current weighted leg(squats, trap bar deadlifts, calf raises and other plyometrics) workouts or have a total different day for each? Which do you reckon will show better result overall?
Man I miss training like this. Are there gyms that train actual adults in this way?

Let God give you strength!
so would light weight training, pylos, and isometrics be a good routine?
Can you make a workout routine regarding this? 💪
I mentioned the Ultimate Athleticism Program in the video a few times! www.byanymeansbball.com/uap
God Blessss you All and follow god road and love god road Amennn and HE IS REAL AMENNNN REMEMBER HE WILL COME BACK
How fast do you think you should gain weight? How much per week?
YOURE COMING TO LUXEMBOURGGGGGG
Yesssirrrr!
Won’t doing ‘negatives’ with weight training have the same impact/effects as the human to human resistance training?

So during weight workouts specifically for leg movements, should I be trying to move the weight up extremely quick but down extremely slow?
You can freestyle it. Both can be beneficial
speed kills baby
Put out a workout program for 35+ age
ty very much huge work here 🔥
How do you develop movement strength if you don't have a partner to do those human-to-human workouts with (basically, I have no one to train with)

You got the right idea!! Once it’s easy enough, switch
so how can i train my human strength

I don’t have access to gym equipment so can you help with that
thanks for the advice Isaiah Hartenstein
Is working on your biceps useful in basketball ?
Helps you look good and build confidence
@@thecursedknight1 thats it ?
Yeah I’d say so. Getting biceps isn’t just for biceps. Lifting and getting strong so you can absorb contact and have people bounce off you more
