She is just being smug in her limited scope of perception, spirituality and basic biology, not to mention the financial impact to society on these unnecessary procedures before and after. Her BLM sweatshirt says it all. She mad at the world and this is acting out. If you listen long enough you hear the pain. The one girl can’t have kids because of a condition. @@kingrjrw5224 I’m saying there are many who subscribe to a specific religious doctrine in such a manner that they think they “know”(as in they are 100% certain) not that they “believe” but have to admit they could be wrong. When we “know” something (how do combustion engines work, for example) we feel we no longer need to seek to understand that thing. Case closed. This is easy with some things, like the previous example. If we “know” how combustion engines work, and someone comes along questioning our understanding, we can be confident that we don’t need to seek any further and can dismiss their position because we can easily build an engine and prove it to them and to ourselves.
      Or if someone comes and claims the modern English alphabet has 20 letters instead of 26, we can say we don’t need to entertain their assertion.
      Transgenderism, spirituality, psychology, are abstract concepts that are still being studied.
      I agree as a general rule that it’s unwise to take the position “I don’t need to” look into this any further on many things.

      @kingrjrw5224 2 місяці тому +2

      @CMA418 I see what you mean. I'm a little confused about how that relates to my comment, though. And even though transgenderism is being studied, you're either male or female and which one isn't your choice.

    • @CMA418
      @CMA418 2 місяці тому

      @@kingrjrw5224 Which is what I thought at first too. But the “logical” argument is that gender and sex are akin to the mind and the brain. As of right now I suspect there exists the concrete and the abstract. Mind/Brain. Neurology/Psychology. In this regard, I won’t completely dismiss or affirm certain claims without more study on the matter. Until “conclusive” evidence is shown.
      That being said, philosophically and pragmatically, it makes sense to me that there be a delineation between “woman” and “trans-woman”.

    My daughter was transgender for 3 years but it turned out she was only transgender because she felt like her father would like her better if she was a boy. I doubled down on the fact she’s a girl and continued to speak to her as so and validated her feelings about her dad and helped her to understand that her gender identity wasn’t going to change him and his issues. It was a long hard battle. Helping her emotionally to come to terms with reality and moving forward with her life and loving who she is. She is no longer transgender. I do believe there are truly transgender people in this world but not to the extent of how many there are today. Real trans people will do whatever it takes to fully transition.

Diagnosed with depression and anxiety, and can't focus on school work so she is failing classes. I worry about the damage all this is causing her. As a father, I am trying to express that she is amazing just the way she is and the teen years are a challenging time for everyone who goes through it. Her mother and other family members (all female) just blindly support her in anything she says. It is so frustrating to see them encourage her when it is obviously not making her happy. As a parent of a 15yo who's gone through it, I know you're going through it too, and as a concerned parent rather than enabler, it is incredibly hard. The best thing I could think to do was in addition to being fully accepting and supportive, I dropped in little nuggets of scientific fact that that narrative really eschews in noncombative, relevent to science only, not agendized ways. And to be sure to treat all the things she was questioning and struggling with as what they are, a completely reasonable response to a very difficult time developmentally for everybody all the more so for her specific to the time she is living in. Everything she is feeling, the anger, doubt, confusion, even despair, all totally normal responses to growing up and questioning everything and not always getting healthy, truthful answers. Emphasize that children have never been exposed to so much corruption as now, that it is unhealthy and damaging, do your best to protect her from it, and let her know she can come to you with the difficult questions, because you went through teendom once yourself and can see the additional pressure she is under in this day and age with the eyes of an adult. My daughter, who's dad is still breaking the habit of calling her they, just needed to know it's normal to feel these ways. They get depressed when acting out in confusion doesn't furnish them with the answers they need, kids just need guidance and mostly reassurance in place of enabling or extra freedom. They don't need to many choices, they just need to feel like they have a choice. And Jesus saves, reading the Bible answers more questions than I ever thought possible, dispels a lot of disinformation, and my kid was trans and suicidal so I had nothing to lose by taking a break from rejecting God. As an african watching everything going on in the west, I've tried to find the cause of all this and I think it's natural selection. The organisms better adapted for survival pass on their genes to their offsprings. In this case of transgenders, homosexuals, women demanding rights to legally kill their own children (abortions), even mass shooters, suicides etc.. They all have something in common. "Refusing to reproduce and societal responsibilities". In other words, they are unfit for survival and nature is selectively getting rid of them. The cause could possibly be the fact that human beings especially the western society has damaged the environment so much and offset the natural balance of nature by over exploiting, over killing without even the need to do so, and also not giving back. Taking too much, more than necessary and not giving back. Now nature is slowly getting rid of what seems to be problem. Every single organism is trying to survive, we are equipped with tools, skills and survival instincts. For human society we have morals and values that we follow according to our environment and societies. Our cultures that consist if rules, values and taboos are meant to help us survive. Western societies have thrown those values, morals and taboos out of the window. They've opened the pandora box and noe they can't close it. It's an enemy they can't fight with guns, terrorize or kill... The usual things they always rely on.

    I love the fact that they were trying to come at you for "calling for violence and mass genocide" while there were multiple signs in the video that were being held by the students that were actually calling for violence 💀

      That's *_why_* they make the accusation - so that when they themselves *_actually_* call for it, it'll seem justified.

      This is the "social media" generation. A generation grown up on sharing half-truths and misleading clickbait on social media. They see the article in their feed, read the highly warped, twisted headlines written by a lying, deceitful journalist, and then accept those lies at face value without bothering to read up on the story. After all, don't you know, they're the enemy. Why should you afford them the benefit of the doubt? Don't worry, right-wingers do the same thing. How many MAGA cultists do you think actually believe Biden is a "dictator" because Fox News falsely labeled him that when the DOJ independently of the Biden administration decided of its own accord to hold Trump accountable for his very real and very serious personal crimes.

      It’s the double standard of all leftists cuz in their “righteous” simplistic minds, as long as they are “kind” they are right without any nuance. They are the brown shirts of this generation and don’t even know it.

    Those kids aren’t changing. They’re going straight back to their friends saying “like, oh my god. This guy thought he knew everything and had some an answer for every thing we tried to say. He’s such a bigot.” Watching 20 year olds in conversation now vs 30 years ago is a stark difference.
