Wow, that sleigh is SUPER cool! We have lots of people out here who hook horses to carts, but not so many to sleighs, so seeing this in decent shape is completely fantastic! And I love the horse story, lol!
Old tractors are my JAM. I have a Farmall M myself. It's my favorite tractor in the world. The propane Deere is amazing, I've never heard of that before, freaking awesome. Thanks for the tour of your stuff!!
Enjoy the videos! You keep it entertaining. I had an opportunity to get a 2840 with loader 3k original hours. But not practical for me. I only bale enough for my neighbors cattle and horses.
Great collection of Machines, They don't build them like they use too. Technology has come a long way but some old machines will, out live them with general maintenance.
Deere Country is saying..."WE DON'T EVEN HAVE THAT MANY TRACTORS ON OUR LOT".HAHA!!.Nice video Wes.That 1940 all-fuel Farmall"M"is built like a tank, that thing will start and run an eternity after hell freezes over...HAHA!!.
Those old machines can sit forever and fire up with not much effort. New equipment if it sits for a couple months you gotta have a team to fire it up a computer tech they don’t make them like they used to
Dryer sheets do the same as moth balls and smell better too. That's what we use in our camper and haven't had a problem with mice in five years. Plus you don't have to get the legs apart !
According to my aunt who worked at John Deere in Waterloo many of the 2 cyl were painted industrial yellow per costumer request such as country road department
going back some years Wes a farmer i use to do work for had a air pump that ran of the pto on the tractor. just wondering if they still make them any more..
Why don't you use the 4430 and 4230 to rake hay with. Surely they would be cheaper on fuel than using some of your other tractors and you would be keeping them in shape by working them. Keep up the good videos
I don't have much personal experience with them, but some of my local "John Deere Experts" say that parts can be tricky to get a hold of. Same is true for the small International tractors with the Mitsubishi diesels in them. There's a lot of them around, they're probably fine if you don't abuse it.
Basically. You take the soil, mix in some gravel and portland cement, tumble it all together (I've used a tractor mounted tiller to do the mixing) then wet it real good and pack it down. Same idea they use to make roadbed and even dams.
I love how you can walk around showing us all the cool toys and history around the barn. Thanks for sharing!
Nice video, cool to see the other building and some cold starts. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the walk around the farm. Always interesting and new things in your videos.

Got to love these older trators, I love the hand cranker tractors.
It would be so nice to see the sleigh used on a snow packed clear winter night . It would make a wonderful Christmas video .
Great video Wes thanks for sharing
One thing a farmer needs to have is stock in batteries.
Thanks Wes/ onelonleyfarmer for sharing you and your families rigs!
Great video so thanks for showing us around
I was just as shocked to see the 4430 start too! Amazing!
These types of videos are awesome...thanks Wes and Tim.. Thumbs Up!!!!!

But if it's a Farmall it's NOT an "All Fuel" as that is a John Deere term, IH called them Distillate tractors.
Capt. Beak I know,but it's built in 1940,even though its not a Deere,its a antique that's still functional.
F it would be nice to be in a position to play with these. Wes keep up the hard work and thanks for sharing
Love these kinda videos , keep em up
Love the old 4430's
love them old tractors
i'm actually not too surprised that those old tractors started. cant beat old reliable iron.
That moth balls joke never gets old.
Can you do a video on that McCormick wide front tractor in this video when you are walking out of the barn. Love your channel.
We've got a 1940 farmall m on all fuel as well. I love em
Why does the 4230 have a 4 on it? Part of a highway fleet or something?
Magnetos have points, unless it was converted ,do they have a kit to convert them to electronic ignition?
Another great video

Nice one day you will get to the old Fordson I hope
Great vid...follow up vid on the combine start please
According to my aunt who worked at John Deere in Waterloo many of the 2 cyl were painted industrial yellow per costumer request such as country road department
Hi Wes , Have you reached your 12000 bale target yet?? You were only about 200 bales short on the last video.👍
going back some years Wes a farmer i use to do work for had a air pump that ran of the pto on the tractor. just wondering if they still make them any more..
Wes, I'm a subscriber with notification bell on, & Utube did not notify this vid.
Hey Wes how about putting leds in that building and picking up a cheap generator to leave there.
You should do a vid of all your tractors
Hook the trailer to a tractor and load another tractor onto the trailer for 2 large items in one location. We do this every winter to save space.
Wes I wanted to ask how are you liking the Krone baler now that you have put a lot of bales through it? Seems like a really good baler.
Would Bob be in danger in a bobsleigh?
I like 4430's 4440's 4630's and 4640's. I think they look soooooooooo awesome, but that's just me and my two cents
Nice old tractor bro
A TR96 combine from the 90s wont coldstart but a 1940 Farmal M will....
4430 needs to be on a rake in the summer
How many tractors do you have on the farm?
Nice to see the weird 60. Forgot about the request, grin.
Nice 4230!!!!!

thanks wes really enjoyed that vid
I know you don't use it much, but how do you like that little 855? I'm looking for small tractor like that for my 7 acre property? Thanks in advance.
as long as you don't use over a 5 ft brush hog 4 ft is better they don't have the power or weight to really run a 5ft.
He said it's his parents tractor
Jeremy Buchheit No shit Sherlock.

Totally forgot about the 4430 since it has been sitting for so long.
Very nice
Four inches of concrete is way too shallow for a foundation, it is doomed to crack. Especially, with all that weight from the tractors sitting there.
This is to cool thanks man
How many tractor do you have
i learn how to drive on a weird deer just like that one!
I like this
Make “ok so” great again!
nothing like a deere
What happen to the fordsen
magnetos have points
Would you sell the 4430 @onelonelyfarmer
Love the 4230.
My grandad has a fordson major
Wes have you ever thought of soil/cement in there? Could save some money and still have a solid floor.
what is that? like dirt mixed with concrete?
Basically. You take the soil, mix in some gravel and portland cement, tumble it all together (I've used a tractor mounted tiller to do the mixing) then wet it real good and pack it down. Same idea they use to make roadbed and even dams.
You're thinking of "stabilized base" material.
Same stuff, different name.
is it like 50% dirt 50% cement?
cool
hi wesley 7 from in the uk
I use that moth ball joke all the time...
you want to sell that 4430
“Will the international start? Of course. It’s an international
Moth balls LOL
5:03 does not sound good.
Doesn't actually move a single tractor
