Hey Henrik - sorry, i had another question for you - I'm currently pulling apart the tailstock to restore it. I wanted to confirm that the tailstock takes a tapered mandrel right? mine has a center tool in it, and I'm trying to work out if it's seized or if I'm trying to get it out wrong hahaha
Hi, first so sorry Ive forgotten to respond on the manual! Secondly, its tapered for sure. But if the tool is too short it may not reach the "ejector".... So get something like a 20mm diameter rod and strike it from behind. If you need heat it needs to be alot of heat shortly to mainly heat the barrel. Takes some time for the heat to travel through material.
