I had it with 1/2 a nann and it went very well with the curry. The only change I made to your recipe is I put in fresh tomatoes because I did not have any tomato puree. It still came out very well. Thank you. I like your down to earth delivery, no fancy talk and delivery that most people wouldn't understand. People trying to be stylish and talking over the heads of people who just want to taste delicious meals. I have traveled all over the world and tasted most types of food from different countries. It doesn't matter what you say and how you say it, the bottom line is taste, So thank you for your delivery and your wonderful tasting food. Look forward to tasting some more of your recipes.

After I put my soup in the bowl I then top it with my cilantro, lemon juice, and some good olive oil and it's amazing. The garnishes just takes this dish to a whole nother level. Thank you for the recipe! I had to empty my fridge so I used baked butternut squash and peas and also added two table spoons of vegan cream to make it more creamy. It was delish!
It went very well. Since I have a lot of homegrown vegetables I added a little extra green onion and a little extra tomato with a little extra spice and it was exceptionally delicious and I felt very good about it❤❤❤
Try using Buttercup squash, it’s the Best! Looks like a turban and the color of acorn squash but it’s sweeter then Butternut squash and is very meaty. I think,you will love it once you tried it! Also, if I use Butternut squash, I do not peel it!! I wash it well on the outside skin, and use it as recommended in the recipe. It add nutrients and fiber and interesting texture and it saves time.! I do the same thing when making soup,. I simmer the squash chucks with skin on in water , just covering the chunks, to desired tenderness then I use an immersion blender and blend till smooth. Finishing the soup as desired. You would never know it had the skin on, it’s so smooth and delicious and i use the nutrients rich cooking water in the soup. When presenting it I use a dollop of whipped cream sprinkled with pumpkin seeds and a tiny touch of cinnamon. Just some easier ( to me 😄)and nutritious ways on how I use some squashes….your recipe looks and sounds amazing, I will try it! Thank you , also on the hint of soaking the red lentils for ultimate nutritional Absorption.

Wow! I just made this tonight and let me say it's absolutely delicious. Normally when I make any kind of soup or stews I usually eat the next day while the flavors meld together we'll, this didn't require the wait😊 I cubed my butternut squash then roasted it then added to the pot. Well - I've got this thing simmering on the stove. All I had to buy was the garlic and ginger and the split red lentils. (I use a lot of these to make lentil flatbreads so it's not surprising I was out!). I make my own tomato puree with onions and green peppers and basil. I haven't tasted it yet but it smells _wonderful_ !
It's _divine_ ! I drizzled a few drops of honey on top of mine. And next time I'm going to add a _tad_ more cumin, coriander, turmeric, garlic and ginger. But it's _lovely_ !

Hope you try the recipe. I don't know where you live but this time of year our local Kroger has pie pumpkins for sale, at $1 each. The rich depth of flavor is way more than butternut squash. Made this recipe today. The aroma filling the kitchen is wonderful. It makes a lot; going to let it cool and freeze portions. I really like this You Tube site. Her recipes are clear and concise, without the usual TMI (too much personal info) one has to read through with other blogs. Happy cooking
