This was a full weight Model S Plaid with stock 21” wheels and tires. Track prep was exceptional and everyone was posting fast times and trap speeds. Rockingham Dragway is the fastest track I have been to in NC. - Авто та транспорт
U should repeat it cause 156 with good traction in beginning definitely faster than 9.29
He did several passes at 156+ mph that night. His fastest ET was 9.27 I believe. He did the same the week before too. Hopefully, we can get a Dragy in his car to find out what it says this week.
@@LearningFast I follow Tesla Plaid Channel and he’s regularly into the low 9s, 9.2 and 9.1 stock. However , his mph is typically 150-152.
down hill track? 😁
Yes, it is certainly downhill. However, Dragy devices usually say it is .99% downhill so that should be valid. It was an NHRA track too so it is supposed to be legit. I don’t have any other way to verify it though.
@@LearningFast Got it. I wasn't trying to be a jackass, as I own an S Plaid myself. Was just asking because the ET doesn't quite line up with the trap.
Do you know what the - slope % was?
Are you running the OEM 19" or 21'" wheels?
What was the SOC during this run?
Were you able to back the run up with a similar MPH.?
@@ms3ben no you should question it. I questioned it to the track and they were adamant that their system was accurate. It is always good to question things that don’t line up exactly.
We didn’t have a Dragy for the Tesla Model S runs. Hopefully, we can test it again with a Dragy. We can charge directly beside the track with NEMA 14-50 RV outlets. That helps a ton. This was at 100% charge I believe with full Dragstrip mode.
I am still not entirely sure why this track is so fast but every time I go I run really fast times even on the Dragy with my Model 3 and my Kia Stingers before that.

Interesting. Thank you for the detailed replies!
Definitely gutted
It was bone stock on 21” wheels and he bought it like a week before. Trap speed could be wrong. It can happen at the track but his car was bone stock.
