After watched your video I bought new Denon 3800 yesterday. I am setting up now.
I watched your media player video also.
Past I was using Onkyo TXNR 636 + Firetv 4KMAX for Netflix, Prime ZEE and VLC player for downloaded 4K Atmos Content.
Now I am upgrading Receiver and adding 4 ceiling speakers for Auro3D
I need your suggestion do I need to upgrade VLC to PLEX and FireTV 4K MAX to NVidia Shield Pro to get Atmos and Auro3D ?
My confusion is When Denon AVR has all features VLC and FireTV pass through Audio then what is the need of Plex and Nvidia.

Dear Tanmay, currently I am using a Denon 550BT and looking for an upgrade. Planning for 5.1.2 in my 220 sqft living room. What is your pick between 1700 and 3800?
Reason for thinking about 3800 is for its audio quality and wasting the unused channels on the other hand.
Will there be a day and night difference in audio quality between them? Please advise
Wow! That’s like double jump. If your current speakers are working on X-550BT then X-1700H can handle them too and it will give you Atmos and Wifi as good additions. But here’s my thought on this! If you have a budget to stretch upto X-3800H then upgrade your fronts to better speakers and use the current ones as front/surround heights (configured as atmos) with Denon X-2700/X-2800H in case 7channels are more than sufficient. Only changing your AVR will not upgrade the sound. It has to be fronts+AVR as a better and worthy upgrade option.

Im using Taga 607 towers for LR ( Taga TAV 607 5.0 + Taga 212 SE Sub), so will have to buy atmos only.
So 3800 will be too much for them? So will settle for 1700. Please advise
AVR X3800H will also be fine with Taga 607. But yes, the AVR can handle more. Again, if you are using all powered channels the front speakers will get even lesser power. I’d recommend to add angled cabinet surround speakers for Atmos and add one more pair of surround speakers to side or back whichever is vacant. You will get 360 degree surround experience.

I am planning to get the r600(1pair)+400+r100(2 pairs)+RC80i +hts 12(1 pair) for my 7.2.2 setup. But bit confused about the avr, denon x3800h vs 4700. My dedicated ht room size is 5.3m*3.7m after the aquistics. I am not planing the preamps due to budget constraints. Which avr would you recommend for this setup denon 3800 or 4700?
4700h as it has more power
Technically 4700H seems more better and powerful. We recently recommended the same to one of our client in Hyderabad too for his Reserve fronts and Legend Center!

My room size is 14 ft by 10 .
And I am using 2 sets of energy rc micro klipsh speakers. Total 10 speakers and 2 woofers.
I have placed one in front and one in back using Bluetooth connectors
I am really confused should I go with thx certified rz50 which has dirac. And has great reviews
About sound quality. But there is doubt on reliability and service
3800h which is new and has independent sub woofer option but dirac is paid later. Now 20 more also has auro 3d
So is it worth to Pay for 3800h for auro 3d but in comparison pf sound of onkyo it doesn't holds much grond s per the reviews I have seen
@@SHIJUG1 I think we must prefer to have a setup which has enough content to enjoy. People get fascinated by Auro 3D but when I ask them about Auro3D content they get blank.
Onkyo RZ50 is an outstanding equipment. Dirac Live callibration can definitely enhance your system’s performance. But I think as you upgrade your AVR, you must also consider upgrading the speakers.
Regarding your concern with Onkyo’s service. It has been promoted by a trusted audio distribution company. However, Denon’s services being taken care by a far more reliable company in India. Denon X3800H is a also a good option for your speakers. And it must cost you cheaper than the RZ50.

Hai i am a proud owner of the 3800 H , in fact India's 1st unboxing video was uploaded on my channel ( G AV SOLUTIONS) in my local dialect ( malayalam) it's a good receiver but i am facing some soft ware issues ( sound settings keeps on changing while switching between inputs or while rebooting)
That’s fantastic sir! Congratulations. And try using presets to save your settings. And I think this can be firmware issue and not much of hardware. Check for latest firmware upgrade on the device if available!
