Damn the 1975 seem at home doing this style of music they've always had minor elements of punk to their music in the lyrics but always seemed held back musically. I'm glad they finally snapped and let their fun angry side out.
Yeah they had a more raw early Fall Out Boy mixed with a folky acoustic side, type of sound. That was before they got all arty and changed to the 1975. As most of the ppl I discovered them when they had their big break with Choclate so I'm not gonna be all 'they were better as BIGSLEEP" or that whatever else they were known as before the 1975 because I obviously didn't know them.
