I am very impressed with what you do. I bought a 80 volt Kobalt chain saw which worked great for a couple uses and then the battery capacity crapped out. I found two battery cells that had leaked. Both on the outside row on the same side of battery. I am thinking about just cutting the case and sliding used cells into save a lot of money. Your thoughts and possible means to contact you?
hello i'm sorry getting back to you. been busy with ebay. a hacker got into my account stole my id bank accounts credit cards change everything and stole items i purchased and locked me out of my own ebay account. and no one not no one try to help stop the crime. the sellers, usps, local police dept., ebay and the local sheriff dept where the hacker had my stuff shipped too. ok enough of that. i wouldn't. why well the two cells over heated and burst open leaking the guts. now you should also be concerned with the remaining cells and assume they were subject to the same condition the two cells that blew up. the other cells could have suffer some damage and they should all be retested. i use two different chargers. miboxer for charging up the cells then switch to the zanflare chargers to do the capacity tested. now you have that done put them in order by capacity and the low resistances they all should be close to the same capacity. i stay within 1950 to 2000 for capacity. lowest resistance as well. any new cells you get should be tested in the same matter. this way you virtually have a brand new battery.
