- i did it!! i'm amazed! i had so much fun but sacred at well. i kept going over my photos and notes of the before photos as i torn the batteries apart and put back together with the used good cell. average resistance was 50 and average capacity was 2000 mah. like brand new! is it worth my labor cost?probably not. is it worth going out and buying a bunch of dead batteries, rip them apart harvest the cells and buying the equipment to put the cells together to make a 80 volt battery? probably not. but it was worth a million dollars to challenge my disabilities. will i do this again? you bet! in fact i will offer my services to rebuild your dead batteries. if your interested let me know. you will need to send me your batteries and i will rebuild them. just tell what price you need and if i can rebuild them i will tell you. now don't forget i'm not getting 1 penny or have sponsors. and i don't care to get any sponsors. thanks for watching my stupid videos and your comments are appreciated. this old fart isn't ready for the pasture.

Nicely done :) Sure beat paying over $100 for a new 80v battery!
You may like what I did. I took a red wire and a black one, installed alligator clips. I attached them to the common and positive charger. I installed a good battery in the charger with the alligator clips in the bad battery. The charger thinks it's charging another battery. I figured this out when. I was about to put a toggle switch on the charger to bypass the low battery zener diode. Works great and I don't need to buy another power supply. Mine goes to 30 VDC.
ok so let me get this right you put a good battery into the charger and connected wires from the battery terminals to the bad battery terminals and it charged them both and you now have two good batteries. right?
@@grandpaworks8632 I drilled a hole in the charger, then I attached wires to the charging terminals inside the unit. I soldered alligator clips to the ends, then put them in the dead battery. The charger thinks that its charging one battery. I thought of this when i was looking for the zener diode to install at bypass switch. There are 2 zener diodes in the circuit ZD1 and ZD2. One rejects a battery that's too low and the other prevents over charging.
