Great tutorial, with a very attractive result..., looking for information on modular environments for this type of medieval models, I have found some of your tutorials, in which I am surprised by the ease to solve some errors that always come to me, such as example folding Uvs on themselves, too long, (something that I thought was totally prohibited in texturing) resolving quite well the tiled errors in the textures...., and without losing resolution in the model due to the dreaded Texel Density. .. and also using a simple Atlas texture for everything..., my big question is..., do you recommend the use of this type of Atlas textures for this type of constructions..., and if so, what resolution Would you advise for that High texture like the one you show, ... thank you very much for the very didactic tutorial, Un Saludo
Hi, sorry for the late reply, i've been away from youtube for a while due to work and sickness. Personally yes i recommend the Atlas texture method for most larger models like buildings, i usually use a 4k texture, this sounds a lot, but in most renderers, especially game engines, the size of the texture has less impact than the higher number of draw calls for multiple texture sets.
cool!
