I think many like myself would appreciate hearing the clean tone through something like a Focusrite Scarlett DI as reference to see how far these DSPs are taking the tone.
why on earth are the presets being shown to us backwards on screen? o.O According to the manual presets are processed top to bottom. Which makes building them annoying as hell, because every time I add an effect it goes to the TOP to be processed first and it feels really unintuitive to me. Nothing I have ever owned makes presets this way o.O Naming them is also sketchy as the app on my phone is constantly changing to "fetched from preset 1" so I have to manually rename it back to the name every. single. damned. time. I make a change. I would love for that to be fixed, at least.... That said, I love how my Exponent 500 sounds, even if building presets via my iPhone is a hellscape. I know software is not magic, but I do hope a Suite 4.3 for Windows is around the corner so people not using a Mac can use their PC. Maybe it's a better experience than using a phone, I don't know. The E500 also makes a great guitar amp imo, thanks to all the guitar cab IRs we get so thanks for that :D Alpha-Omicron and a Darkglass GEQ = absolutely brutal 7-string guitar :D I like the Microtubes distortions/pedals on my Strat, too. All the EQ options are really, really great for customizing tone. I have presets tailored to my different basses that just makes them sing when I want them to :) Between all the EQs/microtubes tbh I haven't really messed around with Leo, yet >_> I should probably do that at some point... My only regret really is derping and not realizing a 900 is probably coming at some point and that like the other 900s, will likely be able to handle 2ohm loads, etc >_> oh well.
they mentioned June to one of my comments on the first Exponent 500 video. But it will also work with 5-pin DIN MIDI controllers as well. Program Change 2-6 is for presets 1-5 (um, kinda weird imo. 1 is Mute. Why not 1-5 be presets 1-5 and make 6 Mute >_> imo the software has a LOT of odd design choices, tbh... love my amp, but it is weird programming presets...)
@@JVMC_ZR1 Yeah You can put the Speaker out before the cabsim so you have you real cab without it and your XLR with it But the cabsim need to be last in the chain because it cut some bass and treble (and other too) so if I put the cab first the drive after it sound dull and thin as hell
I have absolutely NO IDEA why they showed the preset that way in the video. That's not how it works o.O The manual specifically says effects are processed top to bottom; why they show the cabsim on top/first is beyond me, other than the fact that when you add a new effect, it puts it AT THE TOP which is really getting annoying to move to the BOTTOM which seems intuitive; I don't build presets in reverse IRL or in anything with a chain... o.O

Please guys, we need the Alpha Omicron on the Quad Cortex, I own the original pedals but when I try to capture it, it doesn't sound like the real deal.

Isn't the cab sim supposed to go to the house 🏡? Not into the actual cab
