I appreciate you not editing out the radio removal struggle. Most instructionals show a little bit of the fight and cut to the finished product. Respect brotha. Very helpful.
Lol, I got the radio removal tools and tried to remove the radio about 10 years ago. the tools are still stuck in the radio that I couldn't get out. You just showed me to TRY HARDER! Thx.
Thanks for sharing very useful video. Now for a video of the entire dash removal ...ha ha Seriously got to remove & replace mine for one in better shape .
eBay seems to have more parts for pre 97 f series trucks then Amazon not sure why. If you don't feel like spending $100 do the repair yourself. Wrapping mine with leather.
I have a 1990 Ford F150 that dumps all of my fuel from my rear tank to my front tank. My rear tank & pump are brand new, front tank & pump are old, & do not work. I've searched hi & lo for a fuel tank selector valve, but I promise, I don't see one anywhere, period. I was told there has to be one somewhere.. But for the life of me, there is not one on my truck. Could it be that I have a faulty fuel tank switch? Would that switch cause my rear tank to dump all of my fuel into the front tank? I've put my old fuel pump check valve on the new pump. If the switch isn't the issue, or there is a fuel tank selector valve hidden in one of those hard to find places, then what could be the issue? Is there a fuel tank switch relay? If so, would you happen to know where these things are located.. I'm really stuck.. I put $50.00 in my rear tank, went 5 miles, came back almost empty. Please help, this is a heavy concern.. Thanks in advance..
Ford had a recall on that problem!!!. Hade same problem on my 90 f250 5.8 engine . Ford replaced both fuel pump and check valve. Jim in Colorado my old 90 ford was Ny California emissions.
there are tabs on both sides of the vents that hold them in. if you slide in a small thin screwdriver or even a thin knife that will help you pop them out easily.

Apparently that's the weakest link spot for Bronco XLT dash cracks...got one in the same place. Thanks for this video!
I took mine off, cut the ridges off the crack and filled the crack with outdoor caulking and painted the whole thing, Looks awesome now !!
What kind of outdoor caulking? I'd love to be able to repair vs replace mine, too.

You don't push in, you pull outward to remove the radio.
Ya Think!! I imagine he was pushing in to make sure the tools were disengaging the lock tabs.
the tools u insert for the radio removal you spread apart and pull out.

where can i get new pad
I did that to my 1991 ford f250 and it was a job but got it done
What is the main reason for these dash pieces cracking? I just got one of these trucks and I don't want mine to crack lol
rdhr151 every time you give it a wash just rub it down with a fair amount of armor-all keeps the plastic moist and it won't dry out and crack
The sun
Now for the repair video
You can make those “tools” with a clothes hanger...
Sometimes. But the coat hanger won’t have the tiny detent to pull the radio out.
Damn I got the same exact crack lol
Does anyone know what the middle part is called the one that has the XL on it mine is cracked there and want to see if I can buy one
How do those air vent covers snap out ?
there are tabs on both sides of the vents that hold them in. if you slide in a small thin screwdriver or even a thin knife that will help you pop them out easily.
My dad has the exact same crack

LMC truck
You should cut out the audio part about the radio. You’re supposed push the keys outward, not inward. People gunna break shit lol
ayyyy teddy
This wasn't helpful at all! Haha every part of my dash is fucked up except the part he removed on his truck.
