Taurine is only found in animal muscle meat. Anything else is synthetic. For a healthy, young adult cat, calcium should be between 0.6% and 1.0% on a dry matter basis. Phosphorus 0.5 - 0.8%. Too little can be just as bad as too much. Most "adult" cat foods are so high in fat and nutrients, they should be called kitten food. The few kibble brands that meet adult requirements are very expensive. Cats get most of their moisture requirements from their food. They should be fed wet or fresh food, at least some of the time. Cats should be fed on a flat plate, such as a salad plate to avoid whisker fatigue. Happy Manic Monday!
