R.I.P. Jean Luc-Godard (1930-2022) man this Criterion trailer feels like a time capsule. He shall be missed!

This didn’t age well…
Please!! Release a boxset with all Jean Luc Godard films, please!! I need it!!!
still waiting in 2023
Way more valuable than a Netflix account ✨
And here I am waiting for a takovsky collection
Same for me! I watched all his movies once again a few months ago but I wish they remastered some of them
i have all of the dvds released from criterion as i'm hoping "a voyage in time" is included as an extra for a dvd/blu-ray release of "nostalghia".
All of his movies are on youtube ... this is where i saw ...

Godard's early 80s work is just as prolific as his 60's work... Slow Motion, Prenom Carmen, Hail Mary, Detective... masterclass pieces of cinema. Everyone already knows the 60s stuff
Ansar M. Smith I’m glad they included Hail Mary & Every Man for Himself but definitely sad they didn’t include more of his 80s/2000s works like King Lear, First Name Carmen, In Praise of Love or Notre Musique
Well, I guess it’s time to renew my subscription!
2 Or 3 Things I Know About Her is definitely in my top 10 films ever!
Can’t wait for Band of Outsiders (Bande A Part)
Wow, so impressive and tempting! I can't wait! Thanks!
YES! I have been waiting for this specifically!! Lucky Strikes, nylons, jazz… _super génial, trop cool…_ 😎
Band of Outsiders, finally!!
Could someone please tell me what the song at the beginning is?
Tu M'as trop menti by Chantal Goya
Antony Díaz Ibargüengoitia Thank you 😁
Sad to see a lot of them leave the channel in a few days :(
Watching The 400 Blows right now, first French New Wave for me...what do you guys think, Truffaut or Godard? Who do you like more?
Impossible to say!!
Godard took more risks. His most recent output is a little difficult but overall his prime work is more interesting imo
okay cool, thanks. I love Tarantino and I know Godard's one of his biggest influences. And just from this trailer i could tell. His stuff looks hella fun
Godard
RIP he had a good run
This is great but how about expanding to the UK first?
Looks epic
Eventually
A veces pienso que sólo he venido a este mundo a ver cine. A veces pienso que sólo he venido a este mundo a ver a Godard.
Gone today aged 91
come to brasil
A Married Woman please for Criterion! Like if You Agree!
Sorry. This is currently unavailable in your region.
Type in your email below and tell the producers you want it in your country!
:((((((((
Can you please make it available in France :((
This music slaps! Does anybody know what it is?
I thought all of those movies are already out on criterion ....
You guys need to seriously fix your disc holders. Just got my copy of Stalker and I feel like I'm going to break the disc every time I try and take it out.
I'm a filmmaker wanting to get more into French cinema. Is there something anyone would recommend
La maman et la putaine by Jean Eustache is the one i could recommend
Bertrand Tarvenier "My Journey Through French Cinema" (2016)
R.I.P Anna
R.I.P.
This is a really good trailer in the sense that it almost makes Godard's films look worthwhile to me! And I really despise Godard!
What's that song called in the first half of the video
@captain stabbbin - Someone else replied that it’s “Tu m’as trop menti” by Chantal Goya.
0:45 which film is this?
Anyone know the name of the of the orchestrated music heard here? 0:32
ahhh i really want to know too :(

Any 4 John Woo director
I can't find Band of Outsiders on the Channel :'(
what's the song at the beginning
Tu m’as trop menti
what's the title of the film at 0:11?
Natalie, Film Socialisme, 2010
@@basports4659 10 years already! I was in Cannes for the festival and Godard didn't show up. He canceled at the very last minute saying he had 'a problem of a Greek kind'. I still don't know what he meant but it was fun anyway
Боря Дюпон, I got to see it last week as part of a full Godard retrospective at the cinémathèque française. Funnily enough he was also supposed to come twice, he sent a 5 page long hand written letter the first time and apparently instead of coming next Sunday to present The Image Book he’ll send a short film. I suppose some things haven’t changed in the last 10 years haha
Film socialisme
Songs?
What is the songs name
of the new wave period, the only feature films of godard that i need to see are: "a married woman" and "la chinoise". then everything else after "sympathy for the devil (one plus one)"
@thevoid99 - You don’t like _Alphaville?_
@@danopticon i think they meant the only ones they haven't seen yet
@Παναγιώτης Μήτσου - Oh! I see, thank you, yes - I may’ve misunderstood their intent. 😊
La Chinoise is truly a great movie to see.The interior Marxism narration is unprecedented.
