Do you do a gel overlay on your natural nails? If so, how thick do you do the overlay? I've just started overlaying my natural nails and I think my overlay might be too thick lol.
@@amandah2866 No, I sculpt mine as they grow downwards 🤯. DeniseJohn65 recently released a video on how she overlays her natural nails, you might want to check it out. Or you could ask Liz from this channel if she could a video showing an overlay on natural nails.

You want any finished nail to be about the thickness of a credit card on the free edge. You can make the apex area thicker, but usually the goal on the tip is credit card.

Your tutorial videos are soo helpful, they've definitely helped me improve my gel work, I'm teaching myself to do acrylic nails, I have most of what I need, except a brush, I'm struggling to find a good affordable brush, so any tips or advice would be amazing, the cheaper brushes I have bought have been epic failures... thank you my lovely...🌟💖🌟
Can the gel polish be transferred from the pots into new, empty black tubes? I ask, because I bought Born Pretty Shimmer 19pk just for stamping (not received yet). I already have black and white in tubes and it is sooo much cleaner, easier and efficient (no waste) to use.

Try the Kokoist round or square brush for application. They're awesome.
