The turner I suggest in this video is currently out of stock, and I've contacted the manufacturer and they haven't responded as to when or if it will be back in stock. I have also used this turner from Amazon and it would be my second choice: amzn.to/3kGyjuT
DIY Alex... oh that is sooo nice of you. Pls let me know if you hear from them. I really like that turner with the 3 prong plug and I like how easy the wand arm comes off!!! Thanks you!!!😊😊
Hi Alex... love your videos very helpful since I’m a newbie!!!the tumbler spinner you linked is all sold out... can you recommend another one? Thanks!!!😊
Thank you so much for the list I am new to this but you inspire me your tutorials are excellent. Any way you can help me with tack it on glasses the method I am using doesn’t work for me ! Thanks can’t wait !
Yes I seen you tack it tutorial it was great. But I’m trying to do it on wine glasses and it not getting tacky for the glitter to stick to.. I need your help please.. and is it because I’m using tacky glue instead of tack it over and over..
Love the list. My Daughter and I are wanting to try tumblers. But didn't really know everything we would need or should have. So thanks for your suggestions!
My website is currently under construction so that is why it’s not coming up right now! If you’ll e-mail me I can send it to you directly! My e-mail is diyalexvanover@gmail.com ☺️
Thank you for the supply list! I'm so excited to get started. I watched the whole tumbler series and missed when to use the Clear acrylic spray paint?! Please advise. Thanks again.
You would use it when doing a glitter ombre, or in certain situations when the epoxy doesn't want to stick. It's not something you use everyday, but it's good to have on hand!
Thank you for your video...I have not ventured out to epoxy, yet. Is there a list of vinyl types/brands that tell you if it comes with or requires separate carrier sheet? I purchase from 651vinyl and when my vinyl gets "filed" I forget if I need a carrier sheet. It's probably elementary for most, lol
No we don’t have a list like that unfortunately! All adhesive vinyl requires transfer tape that comes separately. Most heat transfer vinyl comes with an attached carrier sheet except printed pattern HTV and printed HTV.
Checked out a bunch of your videos and saw o e using UV resin with acrylic blanks...was wondering if you could post a link as to where the acrylic blanks are available...loved the dog paw!
No that won't seal the glitter long term. There are alternatives like Crystalac if you're interested in trying that. I haven't used it myself so I can't give much advice about it.
Thank you for your very helpful video and list. Im looking forward to making my first Tumbler. Have been doing a lot of research before I purchase all supplies needed.
Thanks for your videos! So helpful!! I’d like to do a ‘white pearl’ effect - not glittery but that white pearl look that some cars have. It’s not white, not off white, but it has a luminescence or depth and glow that’s not glittery/sparkly. Any idea on how to do that? Is there a particular glitter that would accomplish this look? I’m a newbie and have an idea for a tumbler for my brother if I can find a pearl look. Two of his vehicles have this. THANKS!!
Hey Deb! I'm so glad you're loving the videos! For a pearly effect you'll want to paint or glitter your cup with white glitter and then mix mica powder or a pigment powder into the epoxy. That's an easy one! I don't have a tutorial on that yet, but I'm sure if you look it up you'll find tons!
Hello! In order to cut vinyl you'll need a Cricut machine. You don't have to make tumblers using vinyl, but if you want to use vinyl then you'll need one.
Higher quality polyester glitter will give you a more sparkly look, and it tends to be more heat resistant when using things like a heat gun. For practice purposes, just use what you have.

What spray sealer do you use between steps if you’re doing a multi-step cup? Thanks!
Clear acrylic spray.

My website is under construction so that’s probably why! If you give me your e-mail address I can send it to you directly.

I've been using 80-100 proof vodka in place of the rubbing alcohol because the rubbing alcohol is really expensive now with the pandemic.
That’s a great idea! I’m sure it does the same thing!

Hi Mary! I buy my acrylic blanks from 651vinyl.com :)
What about pure acetone from a cosmetology warehouse lol I’m licensed so I can get the pure stuff but Idk if it’s the same as the stuff at lowes
I would think that would work! Give it a shot and see if it works.
Is it possible to make a glitter tumbler and not use epoxy? Could I seal it and top coat it with polyurethane?

Where is the ist?
Here you go! diyalex.com/epoxy-supply-list/
For vinyl decals do they have to be the permanent vinyl?
Nope! You can use removable vinyl too since it will be covered with epoxy.
Thank u for this video so helpful.
You're welcome!
Can epoxy be used indoors??
Yes, but It depends on your space! It needs to be a well ventilated room and you still need to wear proper protective equipment.
Do we need to use certain type of glitter
