- All Sansa & Sandor Scenes for Season 2 of Game of Thrones. It contains a deleted scene and I also left the whole riot scene as I felt it added to when Sandor rescues her.
I like how Sandor went on his own to find Sansa when the crowd went crazy. No one had to order him, he knew on his own she was missing, he was aware of her absence without anyone having to say anything. As much as Sandor would like to think he's all evil he's not. His soft spot for Sansa humanizes him, pushes at a door in his heart that he struggles to acknowledge.
I think he's in love with her and frequently on his mind. When this happened, he had her on his mind.
Moldbreaker tears of agreement
winogirlll he admits to Arya in the book that he loved Sansa
Esmeralda The Steven Universe Nerd ooooo do describe it from the book please
@@klillym1461 really??? in what part ??
The scary thing is sandor is more honorable than half the people on this show.
It's a low bar to be sure.
A man's got to have a code
He is not evil he just understand the things they are
Bést warrior and most loyal soldier in the Seven Kingdoms.... Yet he's not a Knight.
Sandor Clegane refused a Knighthood, several times over, out of hátred for his diabolical brother Gregor, who 'earned' a Knighthood, mainly for his senseless brutality and savagery.
Sandor believed if brutes like that were to be Knights, for slaughtering peasants who never stood a chance in the first place, or arsekissing moneygrubbers who mostly wore painted armor 'to look important', he'd gladly pass for that 'honor', instead of being associated with those corrupted and incapable shíts in the South.
Despite Sandor Clegane had an EPIC story and 'finale', i do wonder: What if he had lived... he wouldnt have stayed in the South, most likely had gone back to the North, where Honor was grávely respected and Knighthoods were given to those DESERVING it, not those capable of kissing the right arse.
Imo if Sansa had offered him a Knighthood, he wóuld have accepted it?
Though looking at how grávely the North suffered losses from the Battle of the Long Night, imo it wouldnt be unthinkable if Sansa would raise Sandor Clegane to the rank of Lord, instead of Knight.
Hes not really honorable
Hes just a pragmatic
"You won't hurt me" That moment when Sansa looks through all his BS and sees him exactly for what he is
T0mN7 And what, exactly, is he?
Kevin Carroll A man who wanted to be good. Until he realized there was no place for good men on his world...
he desired her, but couldn't have her
this scene I believe wasn't in the final cut and I'm really happy it wasn't. Really makes clegane look like a pervert
I didn't realize there were two "You won't hurt me". I meant the first one
"No little bird, i won't hurt you" ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That look in her eyes, when she says “You won't hurt me..." breaks my heart.
Then why she didn't go with him?
@@malkasabairamzaidi1925 Right? He could've taken her back to her sister :o
@@malkasabairamzaidi1925 Man...do you want that a young girl to escape with a strange, scary and very pervert man (who put she against the wall and COMMANDS her to sing)??!
@@RedRoseSeptember22 what!? Wtf is wrong with u ppl?!?!
Their duo sometimes reminds me of "The Beauty and the Beast" tale.
Ironically, George RR Martin was one of the show-writers for 1980s television adaptation of Beauty and the Beast.
Shrek and Fiona :P
GrzybkiZcipki well Sandor was in love with Sansa
GRRM has an illustration of Sandor and Sansa posing as the Beauty and the Beast on the wall at his home (you can see it in one of the documentaries feat. Sibel Kekilli)
@@TheFFilipp Which documentary
Tyrion is literally the only one who says Sandor or Clegane and not call him dog or hound for the most part.
The_Howler Its because smart people don't insult cleganes.
+Sunyaj Engage I doubt Sandor get insulted by his nickname. He said dogs are better than men.
xxlCortez For sure. When I mean insult, I mean look them n the eyes, or cause any kind of tension.
*****
It's not hypocrite. His beef with knights is not that they are killers, but that they are liars. Knights swore to uphold justice, defend the innocent, etc while the ones like his brother are little more than rabid animals. Sandor is honest in what he does, he never swore anything that he wouldn't keep (except maybe loyalty to the Lannisters, but I'm not sure).
***** Hmmm... refusing to kill thde butchers boy will only get you AND him killed. Refusing to kill him wont mean anything.
The hound was always trying to tell Sansa something, but he doesn't have a way with words like Tyrion or Baelish, so he kept failing miserably. And his nature doesn't help.
Blade1301 agreed. Sandor And Littlefinger are almost polar opposites in that way. Littlefinger is a bad guy masquerading as good. And Sandor is a good guy masquerading as bad. Littlefinger knows how to play nice and manipulate people with words. Whereas Sandor comes out with the blunt, ugly truth. He scares people because he’ll say whatever he wants lol. And he often says the worst things.
Have you noticed that everytime Sansa is paired with a man (Joffrey, Tyrion, Petyr, Ramsay) she's always taller than him;
Sandor is the only exception.
jon too
sansa charecter is 5' 9" hound 1s 6'6"
Devil Léo is it bad that deep down I wanted them to end up together? Or at least run away together???
Dara Samz No, I ship them too (Sandor was always protecting Sansa in a way) I'm sure they will meet up again
:)
I HOPE SO
I think it's absolutely fantastic (and okay, kinda adorable) that the Hound calls Sansa "little bird" because he basically hates everyone and is so bitter and sarcastic, and yet he obviously feels SOMETHING for her and is always trying to prevent Joffrey from harming her as best he can, and I just find it so great.
Little bird is not a cute nickname… it’s a insult, which shows how traped and powerless she is, and the only thing she can do about it is sing and wait it out. Its the same as Cersei calling her little dove
He loves her.
Golden Rose agreed. I think little bird is in reference to her predicament. She’s like a helpless bird stuck in a cage, etc, and he’s sorta bluntly pointing that out. I think he’s also trying to wake her up to her circumstances. You see him more or less hit her when she’s talking about Geoffrey in the hallway... he’s like “stop playing pretend! He’s a bad guy!” He thinks she’s deluded herself into thinking she’s safe when she’s not.
Mike Tyson loves pigeons. He said his first fight was because someone killed his pigeons.
Doesn't she remind him of his sister he had at one point.
@14:00 To realize he found comfort in Sansa's chambers, and wanted to say goodbye to her before he left/ take her with him, the shipping is so strong with this one.
When he calls her little bird in this scene its not mockingly like the others
I don't think he ever calls her a little bird to mock her. I remember only one scene where after Ned was arrested, Sandor was being sadistic over Sansa being all alone and how easy it was for him to capture her and hand her over to Cersei. Never seem him being an ass to her afterward. Atleast in the show.
I hope she and The Hound meet again. I can definitely ship these two, now that Sansa is older.
Saoirse Merchal Not sure how far along it can go. Littlefinger is there, floating like an eagle to seek his favor in return.
i dont think clegane sees sansa as his partner, as friends or as a family member i would like to see more friendship, because its known that he cares for the stark girls, so i'll him to meet sansa and arya again. I would also like to know the reactions of the two sister when they meet again. but i think shipping clegane with sansa or arya is going too far.
Funny thing from minute 6:16 till minute 6:22. The Hound is cloaking Sansa, and I can only remember the ritual of marriage of the Septon quite literally: "You may now cloak the bride and bring her under your protection". In a symbolic way, they were getting married in front of Joffrey XD.
Ha! I never thought of that. Very clever.
She needs his protection.
Jeez!!! For a long time I have this comparison in my head! But I kept it to myself, because I thought that my imagination flew a little too far. How cool that it's not just me!
Holy cow, your right, I never knew that.
While this is definitely a protective gesture from him, the wedding isn't a wedding without the vows exchanged.
@moby dick I when did it happen to arya? Im a supporter of this theory too. Its all over reddit
"I didn't do it for you." No, he did it because he luuuurves her. ;)
Sansa misses so many opportunities to leave, Sandor asked, Petyr asked, Ned tried. I bet she regrets it now.
if she left with sandor and went to Robb, she'd probably be killed in the red wedding as well
loafhero he was too late with Arya alone already, let's be honest, who would be safer to travel with, than someone like the hound? Yeah, he's not immortal, but the travelling with Arya was badass as fuck.
Not really. Sansa knows how dire her situation is. She wanted nothing more than to leave, but she's betrothed to the King. True she's not safe there... but if she runs away, running could be the rest of her life. Hiding from those hunting her because the King wants her head. Sansa had no choice but to stay, and she knew that. She's a Stark, and she's too easy to recognize.
Hanna S. More than anything she does
Hanna S. you must not watch the show
"no little bird, i won't hurt you." goose flesh scene
did i miss somethingof that scene?
@@karadanianoI Yes
Ironic cos this is the scene where he tries to rape her in the book
I've said it before, I'll say it again: Sandor is a brute, but he's a thousand times more decent than his psychotic brother.
His sympathetic background and personality notwithstanding, I also like him because he's very strong and very skilled with a sword.
Is it hard to be more decent than Gregor, really?
AuroraInBlue No, but it would be very easy to be just as indecent as Gregor.
I would say: the point is that Sandor is a MUCH more decent person than his early life gives us any right to expect him to be. He is doing his best with what he has to work with ... and I think Sansa facinates him because her idealisem could help him do better.
***** I find it deeply amusing that good ol dead Ned's daughters BOTH would have been murdered or killed.(or both) if it wasent for the Hound. something about that is just.... sheesh.
Carmela Senser-Latham You have completely missed the point! Sansa's idealism doesn't fascinate Sandor Clegane, it disgusts him! That's why he is always telling Sansa to open her eyes and understand the ways of the world. He tries to protect Sansa because she is being bullied like he was during his childhood. Way to completely miss the point! And FYI Sandor Clegane cannot do better than he is doing because he is doing exceptionally well for the world of GOT. Sandor Clegane is one of the most decent people in GOT. He is as honourable as Ned Stark, it's just the Ned's honour is based on idealism while Sandor's honour is based on reality. But both men have a code and both men adhere to it. And, interestingly enough, both men try to shake Sansa out of her obsessive idealism. Both men have also made mistakes relating to honour. Sandor's mistake was killing the butcher's boy while Ned's mistake was not killing Joffrey (when he had the chance).
At least he adverted his eyes when Sansa's dress was ripped and he did offer her his cloak. He's courteous (sometimes) towards her and I respect that
I know he can be a total douche but he does have a 'softer side' to him
+Franky Forte The Dog would get a very big bone if he kept looking.
"Go and find a tree to piss on." - No matter in what situation, everything Tyrion says just always comes out like a boss. :D
The reason why Sandor has feelings for Sansa is because he sees himself in her, she's being constantly tormented by Joffrey as he was by The Mountain, he figured after the death of her father, Sandor could sympathize because he to had lost his father. He thought, being that Joffery was so abusive that she should take comfort in someone who could actually protect her. Sandor also thought that the torment made him the way he was and he didn't want Sansa to become like him. And unlike Petyr Bealish who likes her because of her Mother, Sandor loves Sansa because she's Sansa, and why else would he risk his life to save her's during the riot.
If anyone still isn't convinced that Sandor and Sansa should be together (even after all the other comments), let the Old Gods and the New strike thee down
+Lord Altair ibn La'ahad Wait, Sandor had feelings for her?
Yes, he saved her of his own free will and covered her with his cloak which symbolizes marriage in Westeros
Lord Altair ibn La'ahad Oh that was Sandor who did that? I never did manage to see the face of who did that. It's actually kinda cute, but all the times Sansa felt threatened by him also makes it kinda awkward I feel
Maybe a little, but at Blackwater bay Sandor wanted to take Sansa away with him, and she thought he was going to confess his affection, he held her close she closed her eyes expecting him to kiss her, he then said "You still can't bare to look can you". Thats cute to me
Lord Altair ibn La'ahad That does sound adorable.. I never got that when I first started watching the series lol. Sansa should've gone with him, though. She'd be safe. Or, well, safer, I feel.
Ugh I wish Sansa went with him!! What could've been...
if she had she would have been killed at the twins also
+Jacob Velasquez No if it had been at this moment and then being taken by the brotherhood he would have met arya thus bringing the two girls home imagine the reward he would have gotten. Plus being slowed down.
Kelly Nguyen well Sansa was like 13 and he was like 45
Apparently he's only 16 years older than Sansa in the books. So he was like in his late 30s
Holy shit that would've been a hell of a road trip for him having both Stark girls to deal with
Tyrion is such a sweetheart !
I know..
Totally in love with Tyrion... his character has it all.
Him and Sandor.. man they make some good characters in Game of thrones
Miharu Nakashima The only men who would never hurt Sansa are Tyrion, The Hound, Jon, Theon, and Bran. ❤️
He's a great character, very clever though I personally wouldn't call him "sweet" he's a very likable person and definitely someone I'd like to meet in real life.
"And I'm all that stands between you and your BELOVED king" shit, this line XD
Lucas Rackley why the fk did u have to mention politics? Stfu
Spooderman HAHAH
France Magadia it's one of the truest lines spoken in the series
“I don’t know any songs, not anymore”
That line hit Sandor hard, you can see.
The Bronn and Sandor Show, I would watch it
Me too! Both are not attractive men but they sure get my heart fluttering with excitement. Bad asses!
+Brennan Kaisen "The Adventures of Arya and The Hound" would be better!
Brennan Kaisen and Turmond. fucking yah
The Hound is probably the only person who sees the world for the brutal place it truly is.
***** If you don't count Bronn, Tyrion, Varys, Littlefinger, and a whole bunch of others, sure.
still a better love story than twilight
That's one hell of a challenge,ser.
Chiara Anastacia you're kidding me right
The phone book is a better love story than Twilight. No girl should curlup and die because a guy doesn't like her. Bad lesson for young girls. There's a whole world out there. There's so much more to experience.
Well, I think it needed to be said.
And "Breaking Dawn," was still a better ending than season 8.
Sansa: "You won't hurt me" (you love me truly)
The Hound: "No, little bird, I won't hurt you" (with all my wicked heart)
Yeah, that's good stuff.
Daniel Bradford that's the Art of Translation😉
Daniel Bradford no
I was thinking the same......
That's not at all what was going on there lol
@@crazyGodLikE yes it was....in the scene with arya Hound said "your sister...your pretty sister...I should've fucked her bloody then at least I would have one happy memory"
7:37 the look of pure hatred...Hound is my favorite character. its obvious he would like to kill joffrey.
Me too
I shamelessy ship Sandor and Sansa! Even if it will never happen lol
same
Mystery Holy Shit. Where have you been all my life? Seriously? This is amazing. This might sound weird, but do you have Skype or AIM or even Tumblr? I'd love to discuss this further if you're interested. I don't mean to sound odd it's just that I really don't have a lot of people to talk to about SanSan like I might want and it's nice to meet someone who is willing to go THAT in depth. ^.^ If not I'm more than happy to discuss it here if you wouldn't mind!
Mystery I actually started watching the show before I ever read the books, and at first my liking SanSan, I thought I was just ..one of very few but then to learn on tumblr that there are so many fans of them was great, and that not only that but that GRRM has said in an interview that he knows about SanSan fans and that there's "something there" with the two characters was wonderful to hear. Also, I've noticed in every interview I've read that people are very careful not to say "Sandor Clegane is dead." Like someone asked GRRM a while ago "Will Sansa and Sandor ever cross paths again?" and he replied, and I quote "Why, The Hound is dead..and Sansa may be dead as well. Now there's only Alayne." So I thought that was interesting that in the same sentence he said Sansa might be dead that he said The Hound was dead..obviously referring to just a part of her (as well as him, I think). And in the show Arya asked him if he was going to die and he said "Unless there's a Maester hiding behind one of those rocks, I'm done for." which I also thought might be foreshadowing since the Elder Brother has healing abilities. The thing I'm worried about though is that GRRM has said that next season the show will drift even further from the books than it already has...and I'm personally already pissed off that they aren't including Lady Stoneheart since I had a headcanon that she killed Petyr Baelish...but anyways yeah there's that, and then Sophie Turner said that next season Sansa will go through something really traumatic and I can't think of what it might be from the books and I'm really just hoping that the show doesn't ruin Sansa, or worse give her a sex scene with Littlefinger. I mean I know he molests her/kisses her all the time in the books but I hope that's as far as it goes on the show. I keep thinking though, that The Eyrie isn't far from the Quiet Isle and it's almost a tease that they're so close to one another and don't even know it. When do you think Sandor will return? In the books, I mean..what do you think will happen there? A lot of people are holding out for a fight between Sandor and his brother, but I mean..Sandor's my favorite character, and apparently Robert Strong is as strong as ever..if not more so. While I hate Gregor and want Sandor to get his revenge, I wouldn't want it to be a case where he dies in the process. That would break my heart. Honestly the best ending I could think of as far as Sandor goes..and Sansa is for her to rule over Winterfell like her father did with Sandor as her Sworn Shield..
Mystery Oh, woah! That's really interesting. I actually never thought about most of that. I'm not completely caught up on the books (although I don't mind spoilers, no worries there lol I've long since gotten over that) so I didn't know that Eddard stripped Gregor of his titles! I know Sandor doesn't care for them but it's nice to know all the same. Yeahh and there's small things too, right? Like the fact that Stranger is there and apparently nobody can get near him, and the Gravedigger petting a dog randomly, the limp that fits in with Sandor's wound, and yeah how the EB knew about Sansa.. I mean it's a bit of a stretch to think that he would have recognized her from just what Brienne said I would think. It would be interesting if Sansa were to go to the QI and if Sandor played a part in that. Some people also speculate that while Sansa won't Warg a wolf, she may Warg birds (since GRRM confirmed that all Starks are Wargs to some extent). I mean there's her nicknames..Little Bird, Little Dove, she's pretending to be a bastard daughter to someone who's sigil is a Mockingjay, she's wished that she could fly away (I think?) ... it would be interesting, but I also think that I read that the person needs to have a connection with the animal before warging it so there's that..she may never Warg I suppose..some people think that Lady dying meant that part of Sansa died as well..but yeah anyways now that I've rambled I was getting around to asking your thoughts on that? :) Love that Crackpot, by the way! ^.^
Mystery If you aren't just reading too much into things, cleganebowl better bloody happen.
She knew the Hound woudn't hurt her, and still... DAMN IT SANSA!!!

So true
Krisb BeatS idk man... Gendry has a badass helmet too...
I wish Sansa had gone with Sandor!
if she had she would have been killed at the twins also
+Jacob Velasquez No she would have just missed it happening like Sandor and Arya. At least that's what I remember.
Kay Smithy yup. He arrived with Arya, and noticed something fishy was going on and took off with her immediately
Monica Halim me too
Years later. She will go with him. Hang on. ;)
The fact that Sandors soft spots were both the Stark girls.
and even better "Bronn, the next time sir Merrin speaks...kill him" LMAO! Tyrion is a badass he may be small, but he walks like a giant :D
"Bronn, the next time Ser Meryn speaks, kill him. That was a threat see the difference?" HAHA . I know this is a Sansa and Sandor tribute but the Imp takes the cake.
10:32
Poor Sansa. Actually poor any girl who lived in this time period. Fucking animals. It's satsifying to watch the Hound kill them.
13:18
Sansa: Oh, yeah, of course you'll totes me out there lol
Hound: LOLOLOLOLOL Stark girls are so fucking funny.
Sansa: LOL right! o/
Hound: \o
If your a sansan shipper, just read the books - the show does not do them justice. (Not criticizing the show btw considering how awesome it is)
Kelly Nguyen I'm about to read them! Can't wait
In the books, Sansa had thoughts of Sandor kissing her 🤗 I believe that was after the battle of the blackwater..
boy did that last part aged well did it....
@@janeacedera6174 you are right. He doesn't but in a later book she remembers it wrong. Remembers him as her first kiss.

Pyro & Tacos There is going to be some weird sh*t
+Pyro & Tacos The internet dark and full of SanSan.
xxlCortez But trolls burns them all away
The Hound seemed a bit nicer to her in the books than in the series... That's why I actually looked up these scenes, to see if I remembered the series wrong. In the book he said "Enough" to her being beaten before Tyrion got to intervene.
There was also more of a romantic atmosphere..if you can call it that. He was definitely interested in her in the books. Although I can't see it happening on the show as the actor who plays Sandor has said that Sophie Turner (actress who plays Sansa) is "Just a lass" and that it would be weird because he's friends with her parents...so unfortunately my SanSan heart won't get it's fill! =(
but thats also because in the books the king had also stripped her completley naked before beating her, im sure that would make anyone speak up
adsweety idontwanttoentermyfullgoddamnname Not anyone..nobody else said a word. Everyone is afraid that Joffrey will have them killed if they do.

Actors don't get to write storylines.
FrakkinToasterLuvva Obviously..
It took me a while to realize how much of Tyrion and Sandor saving Sansa a lot in her time in Westeros. Its like the most unlikely people who happened to be there in those moments where you find yourself in a pinch. And then Dear LORD Baelish then takes the credit....
Anyone else caught that moment around 5:43 where the scene cuts away to the Hound, and he looks away as Meryn undresses her?
In the books he does more than that, he tells them "Enough". (Sorry for the spoiler)
It's okay, I've read them! I just like how they added that little touch on the series too :)
Lisa G I do as well! =)
***** He gives her his cloak =')
The Hound don't roll that way when it comes to Sansa. He'll gut someone on his sword, but when his favorite bird is being embarrassed, he shows her some respect. :D Which is why we like him.
Well, now that the Hound is heading north, there is a slim chance these two might meet again in the coming seasons.
rockyblacksmith ....... I won't spoil it for you
this aged pretty well
duhhh
Who is here after their reunion in season 8 episode 4? 👋👐👋 #SanSan
"What a man sows on his nameday, he reaps all year" Sandor just described the Purple Wedding.
I need a reunion for these two. Sandor would be so proud of the person Sansa became
Notice how she changes her hair throughout season 1 & 2. She was a Northern girl who wanted to be a lady of the south (hair is then styled like a southern girl after moving and becoming the future queen) then after seeing that no one who really served the king was truly her ally, after all the hatred mounted up she changed her hair back to a northern style. Good symbolism right there. You can see how she begins to learn to play the game, not for the throne but for survival.
When Clegane placed his cloak around her and Tyrion helped her up I saw that as her gaining protection from both, just like in the marriage rights. Clegane protects her and can't even watch as she's humiliated in court because, he may see her as a caged bird but he also knows she's a wolf and knows she's merely a pawn right now and is a victim of circumstance. The certainty she has when she says 'You won't hurt me.'... I hope they see eachother again in season 8 and he sees that she has become the wolf he glimpsed at on that bridge with her father's head.
"Of course you'll be in the vanguard".. Sansa has guts, hardly anyone would say that! :)
Yep, these are the greatest moments… she’s quiet and polite, yet the shade is thick enough to cool down a yacht on the rare moments she throws it
I love how Sansa learned a lot from Cersei , Little finger, her father’s lessons and mistakes , Ramsey , The Hound , and even from Joffrey’s mistakes .
"You'll be glad of the hateful things i'll do some day when you're queen and I'm all that stands between you and your beloved king."
He pretty much told her he would kill the king for her, if neccessary. That's mortifying and romantic at the same time.
The dialogue used to be so layered, deep and meaningful. Season 8 bassically just consisted of trash compared to this.
Exactly why the fuck is no one talking about this line. He literally is admitting he’d be a fucking KINGSLAYER for her. That’s insane. He could get killed for saying that but he trusts her and she him.
i'm sure if tyrion hadn't come when merryn was beating sansa, Sandor would be the second kingslayer
and would be dead...and Robb's cause would suffer since now Tommen is king
SanSan
The Bird and The Hound
Lord Altair ibn La'ahad so... Bound?
Rory McCann's voice is amazing.
"a Hound babysitting two wolf pups for x minutes straight"
I have not read the books (yet) but have seen all of the seasons. I can't believe I glazed over the connection between Sansa and The Hound. Watching this compilation brings to mind the scene after he fought Brienne when he was talking to Arya while he lay there (presumably) dying. I don't remember it verbatim, but he was trying to taunt Arya to kill him and he said something about Sansa and how he should have f*cked her bloody because at least he'd have one happy memory. Even in death, and putting on this tough and cruel mask, his love for Sansa is really plain to see.
Whoa.
The recent episode sealed the holes in this ship.
Nothing would be more satisfying than to see Sandor clegane survive
pat the books talk of a knight wearing the armor of the Hound riding with the Brotherhood
This comment hurts now, 2 years after the series end 😭 But, no one could ever tell me that the Clegane Bowl wasn't amazing.
13:00 Sansa calling him a coward and he doesn’t realize it
the reason i like these two and i believe they are drawn to each other is because they are the complete antithesis of each other. he is a killing machine- hard, cold and cynical. Sansa is this fresh naive soft dove who wants to see the good in all. for me ( in the show) sandor comes off crueler than the book but maybe because all that embodies her gets under his skin so thats why he acts out on her the way he does. the books definitely gives a more undertone of feeling so in that sense i was disappointed. Especially their last scene together in season 2, but one never knows what lies in the future. to me these scenes were written and these characters interacted together for a reason. this show/books are all about the slow build. im crossing my fingers anyway. they have alot of potential imo.
He's nicer to her in the show than in the book, but he also doesn't talk to her that much or share so much as he does in the books. In the books he's far more emotional and unstable and goes from sharing his past with her and being vulnerable in front of her, to insulting her and threatening ti kill her, and then again. No wonder the poor girl is confused about his behavior. :)
FrakkinToasterLuvva Lol. Sandor: -tells Sansa an emotional backstory-
Sansa: ;-; ... -while secretly smiling inside-
Sandor: -CURSES VEHEMENTLY AT HER STUPIDITY-
Sansa: D: ... @.@
It really is no wonder that imagines the kiss. He is that unstable in her eyes. "I LOVE YOU/I HATE YOU".
After her ordeal with Ramsay, they both have much in common. They are both emotionally wounded and she is a completely different person now. I wouldn't be surprised if she hadn't been mutilated by Ramsay. The Hounds mutilations are visible. Sansa's are not.
I like how Cersei looked at Tyrion for safety during the riot cause she didnt know what to do😂
I hate how they completely ignored Sansa and Sandor’s relationship in Season 8. I hope the Hound shares at least one scene with his little bird until the end of the series.
Wish come true
The thing I'm looking forward to the most in season 8 is the reunion of Sansa with Sandor and Tyrion. I need to see their interactions
I just want SanSan to be together and then I'll be content with life
Anyone notice the face Clegane pulls at 7:37 when Joff says 'cmon dog', ps Sansa is gorgeous love her and the hound.
11:03 it's Mr. Steal yo guuurl
there's such a difference between the first and second time Sansa says "You won't hurt me." The first time she believes it's because of her station and that she's property of the king. But the second time she realizes Sandor won't hurt her because he himself really doesn't want to.
"WRAAAAH!!" - Sandor Clegane aka "The Hound"
Damn, he didn't kiss her (like the book implied)... But still.. this is an awesome ship!
The book doesn't "imply" it, Sansa simply states it, but GRRM says Sansa is an "unreliable narrator" in reference to this and it never occurs in the actual chapter.
And he didn't threw her on the bed and put a knife to her throat, and forced her to sing to him...
AnaisDemi
Or regret not fucking her before the imp got to her either...
Neith SPOILER that was probably on purpose to anger Arya... I hope. But he did regret leving her, he was sobbing.
The book doesn't imply it. There's no kiss in that scene. Sansa thought for a moment that he was going to kiss her, but he didn't. She later imagines that he kissed her and believes that he did, but it's a fake memory. It's called "UnKiss" in the fandom.
The first time she remembers their goodbye, she remembers only what happened really, but the second time she believes he kissed her, and her "memories" get embellished over time. She can't stop thinking about him and she romanticizes her memories once he's gone.
God, it feels awesome when he calls her "little bird!" ❤️
9:15 The Hound's fearsome growl
lol hahahahaha
If a huge, armored man known for killing was waving a sword around and made that sound at me, I'd take a step or two back
try 15:10. better?
She should have leave with The Hound.
Absolutely. I have always thought of that. Considering Arya's adventures as described in later books, ( no spoiler here on purpose as I hate them ), Sansa should have gone with him.
The problem was, bless her heart, Sansa has no clue who is telling lies and who is telling her the truth. Being around Cersei and Joffrey has really rattled her. While she believes the Hound won't hurt her, it's a big, BIG step to go on a journey with him - especially if he's lying and he tells Joffrey or Cersei about her wanting to leave. They would kill her.
Meadow Peace She'll end up dead choosing one way or another.
If she leaves with the hound, it'll break her character. She's suppose to be scared and naive. she can't trust anyone.
Didn't the hound get captured right after he left kings landing?
At 2:55 I hope I'm not the only one who felt a bit of sexual tension between them. Pinning her against the wall "looks who's come out to play." And "you're almost a woman." The way he sighs at her. Very nice. You can see his admiration for her.
+Lea Labrado He's even creepier in the books. He almost kisses during the Blackwater.
+Lea Labrado I think the correct way to look at it is that he is unhappy, he feels like a 'dog'. But you can see in the end when everyones moral cards are on the table he chooses a side.. he doesn't want to hurt little girls.
+Inoue Mariko In a world where rape is the norm i'd say hound has incredible self control....
In the book she's twelve. No romance involve there, even less sexual tension.
@@sephelutis He doesn't seem to have much of a sex drive for the most part. Years of isolation and ridicule must have withered away at his confidence.
Is the Hound falling in love with Sansa? I can't tell, but it seems like he is...
He is. Maybe it's hard to see it in the show but it's clear in the book [well, for me it is]. And she has feelings for him but I think that she is now too young to know that exactly.
In the books it's a lot clearer than in the series, but he clearly has deep feelings for Sansa.
@@JoGemma agree. Compared to the tv treatment the book is fan fiction...it's just lovely. I really ship these 2
He had feelings for both the Stark girls.
7:37 oh Sandor looks pissed. He's getting sick of Joff's shit.
Y'all saying that Sansa should've gone with Sandor.
Just put yourself in her situation for a sec.
Had Tywin not showed himself up at the time he did, Stannis would've won. Nobody knew Tywin (and the Tyrells) would come and save the day. It was easy to believe Stannis would have won.
Stannis is a man of honor, he would've not hurt Sansa and would have had her safely returned to her family. She had her return guaranteed with him. Why would she choose Sandor over Stannis??
Yes, we all, including her, know that Sandor would never hurt her and would have protected her. But imo, between having Stannis or Sandor return her home, Stannis is def the safer bet.
***** LMAO. Understandable B)
The fuck?? Stannis called Robb a usurper and cursed him to death and celebrated his demise. Stannis ain't returning shit unless Robb bends the knee which he already refused to do.
Ay Yo Sansa had no way of knowing that?? How would Sansa know what Stannis thought and said?
But what would have been if not Stannis himself, but some idiot soldiers would have found Sansa?
mellisandre wants any royal blood she can get she would sacrifice her to lord of light
If Sandor were my dog there would be peanut butter everywhere.
+Leslie Pop Too far man
omfg lol
This scene, the buildup to this scene, the actors on either side of this scene, and the real truths they tell the whole way - greatness.
The Hound and Sansa need to happen.
At the start, Sansa and Sandor were two polar opposites: Sansa had naive notions of honour and bravery and believed in the knights and fair maidens they heralded in songs; the Hound was a cynic and believed all of Sansa’s notions to be lies.
When they found each other Sansa learnt the harsh truth from the Hound, and became mature and strong; the Hound found tenderness in his love for Sansa, and found room for compassion and kindness (albeit expressed in an awkward way of his).
They both improved each other.
No little bird, I won't hurt you.
❤
May I just say I would have gone with him!
Me too and my virginity would be gone.
LOL anyone notice how his feet slips around 7:33 ?
Did you notice the Hound briefly mean mug Joffrey right afterwards? Then at 12:00 the Hound says (paraphrasing) he would protect Sansa from Joffrey when she's queen possibly (speculating) the Hound might become a new Kingslayer.
***** Yeah I saw that, you can tell that he was starting to get tired of Joffrey's crap. and at 12 minutes - I loved that scene! I love SanSan so much, more than anyone else on the show and I would have loved for that to happen. I wish she would have left with him :(
Lol, you are right!
***** Hmm, you know that's interesting, although I must say a terrible name for a dog. ;) Also - I'm uncertain as to why you tagged me? I mostly ship SanSan in a platonic sense until she's older. Not that I mind, I'm more than happy to discuss those two wonderful characters anytime! Apart from that, the show is set in a Medieval Era. You must also think Tyrion is a pedophile considering he's married to her and had sexual thoughts about her? Drogo as well since he married and impregnated Daenerys..and there are many other examples. If you have issues with younger women being paired with older men (like Dany/Drogo) on this show, then I'm assuming you must also be terribly against incest, murder, rape etc. It leaves one to wonder why you would watch the show at all! Perhaps you shouldn't if things like this bother you to watch on a fiction television show. Just for your own happiness, you know? :)
***** True that! It is. So maybe stop watching the show as I've said if it bothers you? I still don't understand why you tagged me, though? As I've said I mostly ship them platonically until she's older...if even then. I just enjoy their chemistry in general and it's not as if I pulled that out of my ass, GRRM wanted people to see that as he's plainly said that "there's something there". Even still - I would absolutely not be against it if Sansa were to be with anyone in the books/show. This is my last reply to you - have a nice day! :)
tyrion is literally the best thing
While Sandor tried to be feared by all, he always had a soft spot for Sansa and Arya💗💗💗
Now I ship Sansa with the Hound and Tyrion.
She can't be with them both lol
RedRoseSeptember22 sure she can.
"Does it give you joy to scare people?"
"No it gives me joy to kill people."
HAHAHA, *SAME*. ;)
8:40, If this was Guts from Berserk rather than Clegane, he would have thrown Joffrey to the crowd!! Lol
Did you hear Hound's growl about 9:16 ? It's kinda hilarious. ;p
there are so many little stories in this great show and the small adorable connections between different characters which keeps on building on is amazing the last few seasons connect to maximum of these conversations just amazing writing and screenplay
7:43 Cersei's prettiest shot
Did anyone catch the little steal of a glace sansa did towards Sandor at 1:24? hehe
Thank you for these! I ship Sandor/Sansa as well as Tyrion/Sansa so I loved all of these clips :)
7:37 that face!!! He is so damn hot
I hope Sansa is happy to see Sandor if they see eachother in season 8. Same with Arya.
Sansa had two people on her team. Tyrion and Sandor.
ikr? Its amazing how well he nailed that audition. When he did the "LOOK AT ME" part, I was reading comments and practically jumped out of my skin. XD But then I had an adrenaline high from being startled so bad and giggled like an idiot.
(1 of 2)
I love how he doesn't even dare to answer “see the difference” rhetorical or not, he knows Bronn would kill him before he finished
"Go and find a tree to piss on" HAHAHAHHA
9:03
Well, that escalated quickly. I mean, that really got out of hand fast.
LMFAO Joffrey's voice when he says "kill them all". 😂😂
i had never seen the deleted scenes thank you those are actually in the books
"Your almost a woman. The king'll be having you soon." UUUGGGHH WHY CAN'T THE HOUND BE REEEEAAAAAL??????!!!!!!!
I know right... But then, we'd all fight for him...
I got my fists ready ladies. The Hound is mine!!!!
winogirlll I wonder what he'd say if he knew so many girls are after him. He who is supposed to be the "ugly duckling" of the story.
+LadyPrincessDiana He'd probably say "I'd fuck them all"
