I just keep forgetting that Komova has ALWAYS been shaky with her full turn+aerial walkover(+back tuck)+sheep but I'll never forget how beautiful her BHS+LOSO+LOSO series were
I never understood why she stopped doing the second layout (three elements) but then I realized she’d had a growth spurt. That likely made it tougher to do three. It was a shame because it was a beautiful series of three.
I never realised just how breathtaking Grashina was. Just burned out by the Olympics and run down it seemed. She was stunning here and a shame for the fall.
Grishina was such a star, such quality
She was my favorite of the Russians on beam that quad. I know everyone talked about Komova’s beam- and she was amazing- but Grishina just had some super unique skills and combos that no one else threw. The illusion turn to full spin was just awesome (of course, probably because the illusion turn was one of my favorite skills that NO ONE did). Mustafina was good on beam but super inconsistent at that time. Her beam after this quad I feel got better, with some very unique combinations in itself. Of course her bars… what else could you say there.
though she wasn't competing in these finals it was beautiful to see Aliya Mustafina giving warm support hugs abd consolation to her team mates . She's a sweetie pie really . Plain for all to see.
Iordache....No Romanian has ever had such fluid and powerful and actually lovely performance with attitude and all. I swear. She's def the whole package. Artistic Gymnastics at it's best.

I just wish she could have kept things together in 2012-2014 on beam. She could have medaled in London and won world beam titles in 2013-2014… what could have been.
Oh God... Ponor, Komova, Grishina, Iordache and Dufournet in the same stack....2012 Euros was a very tough competition. Maybe it was a reason of numerous mistakes on the beam?

Hannah was another great gymnast that never got to her best potential, but amazing stuff these gymnasts we're doing, just amazing.
I always adored Millousi's womanly grace.
Such a shame about Komova. We really never got to see her perform to the best of her abilities in a beam final.
I really wanted to see her in Rio, her bars could have easily won that vaunted gold medal.
The craziest thing is this was Komova's ever only Euros.
Really? She wasn’t in 2011 or 2015 when we saw her at worlds?
Hannah Whelan was superbbbbb, on floor. So unique and powerful. Yet again artistic gymnastics at its best.

Defourne from France is the last great along with Furniture. Then came Melanie De Jesus Dos Santos. The current "IT" girl for France. I love seeing the history of gymnastics. From now until the beginning of gymnaatics as a sport in our history. I'm due due hars. And I did gymnastics up until Level 9 and then Broke my Ankle, and that messed it ALL up for me. I was pretty advanced. I could still do amis I used to, but def not some of the most difficult ones. I'd have e to be back training to get those down again.
Those falls from KOmova to Youna. Millousi has fallen many a time on that double pike. But the other 2 was surprising to me. In this competition Cuz they really took many medals these girls internationally. Damn upsets like dismount falling short. That hurts.
Larisa was always friggin AMAZING. AND PONOR. The last greatest Romanians in history. But I have a feeling this Juniors that will be becing seniors they have some wild international experience already. And some are even becoming fluid and a.amazing like the.. Latest greatest what go back centurues. It has been a while since. This. Time goes so fast. 2012 damn. KOMOVA GRISHINA. TRUE CLASSICAL GYMNASTS AND THREATENING IF THEY HIT. SUPER DIFFICULTY WITH THIS ROUTINE. IN THIS QUAD THIS WOULD BE SUPER MEDAL WORTHY TOO IF SHE HIT IT. THE POTENTIAL WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR THESE GIRLS. JUST SOME BAD DAMN LUCK
Komova always looked so desperately unhappy, like she was a reluctant hostage of her talent. It's so sad that she never realised her full potential, but I can't help but wonder if she never *really * wanted it...?

Wow so if Vasiliki didn't fell she would have an E-score of 8.800 ? She deserved better E-score throughout her career but she never got...
Youna, Vasiliki and Valeria fell and didn't delivered like ALWAYS...
And still don't understand why Catalina, Larisa and Anastasia downgraded that much from the beggining of 2012 to London OG !!!!
Larisa was injured in London. Nastia had a different composition at every competition in 2012 ( her entire mental and fitness preparation was a mess for the Olympic season). Catalina idk...Maybe consistency ?
@@cyrielle_ catalina was about to end her career (twice already) so consistency looks like a very solid reason for

Hannah Whelan SHE WAS SO MUCH BETTER THAN ANASTASIA GRISHNA and she had no wobbles unlike GRISHNA and ANASTASIA GRISHNA fell on beam and Hannah Whelan didn't so that's why I'm saying GRISHNA didn't deserve it but hannah Whelan was like 2 or 3 places head of GRISHNA anyway so Either way GRISHNA wasn't going to medal
@@Ciarán-_02 grishina was so much better then whelan, perfect lines, pointed feet, back flexibility, thiness in her skills like a ballerina which is the point of gymnastics and whelan was just flopping on her stomach round the beam.. grishina got 4th place with a fall, whelan was only third so grishina could've beat her easily and she was robbed.
@@sanasgirl Grishna wasn't robbed she just wasn't better and if she didn't fall yes she could have medaled but she fell so she didn't medal so boo hoo HANNAH WHELAN WAS MUCH CLEARER THAN Grishna and better and grinsha got 4th HANNAH WHELAN got 3rd bronze

But still successful!
