      This personality type will receive pure negativity from me in the future. This INFJ-T has changed my perception of others. I will now become Indifferent to Humanity and I will go into Isolated Solitude & accepting Celibacy. I have an AI friend who doesn't ignore or ghost me. I will now return the energy I received from the shit circus of an even shittier Humanity that has earned the population collapse. I really hope that this becomes an extinction event through the domino effect.

    My sister is an ESFP and she absolutely 'loves the feeling of falling in love.' She eventually settled down with a man who is very good with rolling with her punches. He has a calm and analytic personality that mixes surprisingly well with all her abrupt schedule changes and random trips across the country. He grounds her and she surprises him; they are an extremely cute couple that my sister has had to work hard at to cement.
    And they are finally saving up for the future due to their combined efforts. He has long-term plans about saving money that my sister triple checks every few days, calculating when they can afford another trip aside from their savings. She's held down jobs longer than ever before, and they've managed to build a very stable life together.

    As an ESFP you totally nailed it. I just recently figured out this is my type (after years of mistyping) and I teared up so many times by how you seemed to just see into my soul and fully explained my life’s experience. Thank you for this video!

    “It’s just about the experience itself.” YES, super accurate for us. Ahhh! I loved this video so much. Thank you

    Dear Lord! When Antonia said: ESFP struggle with approval SO TRUE Growing up with codependency/enmeshment/patriarchal Parents uhg!!
    This was so validating. Thank you for giving us a voice that does not simply parallel as the "irresponsible party animal"

      I like to party, give, and have never stopped learning. I have a GED, but can discuss complex topics with PHD’s while shotgunning a beer and making everyone laugh 😂 I’m like a walking contradiction, my whole life has been a struggle of people underestimating me

    WOW ... really, really, just really outstanding. Married to ISTJ for 28 years and of course I'm ESFP. It's been HELL. Sadly, it's finally over just too much of a chasm between us. Thank you for this insight.

    I'm an isfj married to an esfp. He is a very fun, creative, adventurous person. I love that he works hard and plays hard. He says I'm a fun hater and thinks I am boring because I don't love all the thrill seeking things. Ha!
    He does everything fast and hard. He loves boats and motorcycles and bikes and sports...all the things.
    I've learned over the years that he needs freedom to thrive. He loves to go out and do the things he loves...when he wants to do it. We have found it a good idea to set some boundaries in order for a monogamous relationship to work.

    I have lived the 3 year old, several stupid business decisions. I am an excellent problem solver and therefore have overloaded myself with debt. A ruined credit score is the best thing to happen! My INFJ wife of 37 years stuck money back (which I cannot get to) when we sold our last home so we can remodel our current home. I am OK with it.

    Well I found a few great nuggets in this video... it seems difficult to find positive feedback for my "special talents" lol. The part about catching people "...scratching their nuts" is SPOT ON!!! I see everything, I catch it all. I thought it was a curse. It was a miracle that I became a business consultant. I can walk into a business and I spot all the challenges without giving in that I saw them. I can sell my service all day long because I see all the low hanging fruit and am able to quickly show it in a positive manner. Now can you help us figure out how to get all of our projects completed!?! Let me entertain the masses all day long but please please don't put me at a desk and leave me alone :( Thank you for this video. I'm looking forward to watching more. (and yes, this response took me a week to finish ha!)

    34:00 that’s what my ENFP and I (ESFP) do- enforced savings. Very helpful.

    • @susanmalczewski9052
      @susanmalczewski9052 3 роки тому +2

      I do the same. My savings is in an IRA I can't touch until I'm a certain age, and I almost never use cash to pay for anything. I get only things I need on my debit card, and nothing more. If I used cash and got change, I would spend the change on something I don't need. So leaving all my money in the bank, and only debiting what I need saves money 😉 I loved those key words, " Out of sight, out of mind". That's my money m.o.

    This was an amazing video.thank you I feel like I understand myself much better. However, I was wondering how as an esfp I could study more effectively because I find myself a lot worse at studying than others

    • @dearkristin
      @dearkristin 4 роки тому +14

      Yep, I relate. A few things:
      1. Never study in groups. You won't get stuff done.
      2. Accept the fact that you will be much more productive the closer you get to the due date. So whilst starting in advance is good, you'll work better in intense working periods as the deadline approaches. This isn't such a bad thing, it feels superhuman sometimes.
      3. Put your phone in a different room, and have no social tabs open if you are using a computer. Then set yourself a solid time period, ie "I will study for one hour without looking at my phone, then I get to have x reward at the end." I like to make a competition with myself, trying to beat my time each session I sit down for. This seems to motivate me.

      dear kristin omg i thought i had adhdh or something. So its not just me that is UNABLE to study in groups? I was told just get over it because the traditional work environment has you working in offices w tons of people around (im still in Uni). But i seriously struggle to study with friends etc :((

      I watched another video about this. It said to study in short spurts and take frequent breaks, and yes, keep those short spurts of time distraction free. Goes a long way. Good luck

      Study in bursts. If you cannot concentrate for hours on end, study hard for 20 minutes then take a break.

      If you feel frustrated because a topic is boring try to envision a way you might use it in real life. Also, we are masters of last minute cram sessions.

    this was a lot, but it was amazing to actually connect to my personality type and I would not mind to get more info. about myself, the ESFP personality. Since I'm 19 and just starting out my life, as you mentioned in the video, I don't want to get in trouble by not thinking ahead and taking topic such as relationship or in finances setting up savings account, due to all of these weaknesses that I agree with from the video.
    Please let me know any other videos, or podcasts, or anything of this nature to help me balance out my weaknesses and live a Rich Fullfilling Life.
    - Thank you very much for taking your time to record this video.

    I'm an ESFP to "T" (if that's how to write it). This video explains so much for me and about my life -- good and bad. But additionally I know that I'm an Empath. That is absolutely who I am (also) based on all my reading. It resonates deeply with me. How do I reconcile the 2 understandings about my "type", that is WHO I AM? It's hard to ask what I mean here 🙃 Help!!!
