If it says to Leave it at the door, leave it at the door. Take your picture to cover your ass and walk away. Especially during Covid 19 times. Nothing I hate more than a Dasher banging on and standing at my door. Want 5 stars from me? Leave it at the door!
I knock/ring the bell as well as text the customer. I've there's no table or seat, I place the food next to the door if it opens outward. I like that UE asks for a pic and sends it to the customer as well. Make sense if all of these apps start doing this, especially if no contact will remain as an option for the customer.
I better start doing that then. I just never sure :-/never thought about calling either. I hate the phone I hate talking so I will text during the messenger app but I know there’s times that the messages don’t come through so I’m just trying to get a feel for how everybody does things differently? Seems OK so far but y’all’s pointers definitely to help.
Surprisingly think this would be simple but it is confusing me when I say leave it door. I don’t require the door Dashers to ring the doorbell or knock because one I don’t have a working doorbell and I’m not going to hear it. I rely on the picture that they send over a lot of our things will say do not knock if it’s leaving at the door but a lot of them just say leave it at the door. I actually don’t know what to do. What is the best thing to do is help I just can’t believe I’m so confused about it lol
What is the usual dash base pay up there? I live in Tennessee and I've never seen any over $3. It is not a very busy area where I live. So far the best I've done in the 3 weeks since I started this was today actually. Scheduled dash from 5pm-1030pm and done $63 with a total of 10 deliveries.
Cory C Wow . I’ve been doing this in CT for about a week and I get anywhere from 10-17$ per delivery. I work usually on the weekend’s for about 3 hours per and make $75 per shift
Yeah I know. I ordered Japanese from GRUBHUB yesterday and the GRUBHUB driver put the food near my door I couldn’t open the door or the bag would’ve tipped over.
Andres Pinedo in this video I had my 2019 Kia Forte . I occasionally use my old 2002 Corolla on weekends. I highly recommend Corollas or Civics if you’re going used.

Good just don't put it directly in front of the door
I always text the customer and ring the doorbell unless they indicate they don’t want to be disturbed
Same here.
