Unlike most people teaching on UA-cam, you get straight to the point. You are concise, succinct and never wordy. You give people who're trying to learn something, exactly what they need to know. Thanks for all your vids and all that you do.

To ALL DJI customers: DO NOT buy the DJI SELECT , it does not cover any accessories for the Mavic 2 Pro or Zoom. This is a big scam from DJI
I bought from DJI STORE a Mavic 2 hard case, but the 20% discount as a SELECT member was not applied, called customer service and they said these discounts are for everything else but not for the Mavic 2..... What a big scam this is,....

As a relatively new drone flyer, I found this video the best I have ever seen. You obviously know what you are doing. I for one, want to thank you for your hard work for putting this together.

This is absolutely THE BEST tutorial, not only on the subject, but on anything. Instead of the usual rambling, self-important, BS this guy presents the material in a good training sequence with enough detail to be useful to beginner and intermediate operator alike. I only wish there were more folks like him offering real expertise on their subject of interest.

This video is very well made and extremely helpful. I ordered a refurbished Phantom 4 from the DJI store, and I've been impatiently waiting for it to arrive. I've been pouring over videos to research the machine in advance. When I got the drone today, I felt like I operated it as if I'd owned it for a long time, thanks in large part to your video. Thanks very much for making it.

I just acquired a used phantom 4 and I read the owners manual which I downloaded. A lot of good information but I was looking for someone to pull all of that info together into a flowing cohesive approach to preparing, understanding, and presenting the basic information. You have done all of that and more. I so appreciate your honest attention to detail and appreciate all of the hard work behind the scenes to bring this video to us. Thank you very much!!

Tony, because of this video, I pulled the trigger on getting a P4, and knew pretty much EVERYTHING I needed to set it up and get flying relatively quickly. Thanks for such a well thought out and conveyed overview. Best one I've seen on the P4's ever. I know this vid is old, but keep it up. I thoroughly enjoy, and learn from your drone vids...

Long, but absolutely required viewing for familiarizing yourself with the use, capabilities and features of the DJI Phantom 4 model drones. Tony gives you detailed information and helps you to prevent making mistakes regarding things you may not have known. (Ex: The 4 Pro uses different filters than the 4).
If you buy either product, when you open the box, you'll be miles ahead for having watched this video. Thanks Tony for a thorough and professional presentation! I'm subscribing!!

You sir a credit to the profession and after spending over 2K on my first drone (with Accessories) i can assure you i will be thanking you more than once as i venture into this. if there is a charity that you like and contribute too, let me know and i will send something there way.

The way that u told this interview about this drone was just like if u invented the phantom 4. The way that u told the stores how it all works is just amazing that even the factory can't duplicate it...showing and also telling us all the details on your view and how is the best way to make it work like it should your also very honest is the key to this video, because of this I ordered the new phantom 4 pro plus bundle and also the osmo to, I am also ordering your book to. Just because your very details into my world and today's truth about how to make it all come together, again bravo and u should be paid in full for this insight on the truth about the real world use and also your real point of view.... again bravo and thank you for the real world use of this phantom 4. Pro and cons of this drone

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! You did something that most other instructional videos don’t: you explained everything in all the menus, right down to the last setting. That is really great because even though I may not use all the features, when I do need to shoot in an odd situation I’ll know whether the camera will actually perform the function or not. Then I’ll know whether to search for the setting or not. I hope that makes sense. Well done!

There is a significant problem with AEB, in that the P4P currently writes the exact same exposure values to the Metadata, which makes processing difficult in HDR software. This is especially a problem with Photomatix batch processing.

My 1st flight was yesterday! 10 minutes in and I raised it to 30 feet and it just stopped flashing and running. The 30 ft drop to a sidewalk doesn't make a pretty sight and pieces scattering in all directions while the blades stay attached. The battery was still flashing. We will see what DJI does on Monday when they open.

Tony I wanted to thank you. I can't afford the new DJI drones for the business I want to get started so I bought a couple pre owned zero hour P4P pro v2 drones. there was a video where you were a little salty about photography is so easy for everyone now and people haven't paid their dues etc... as a musician I can relate with all of the AI music being generated now. I can tell you that even with the automated settings in my new cell, s23 ultra, and the drones or videos that made me want to dig deeper and understand what is going on. Real photography/ videography it's hard. I spent an hour trying to get a clear picture of a hummingbird so it's not blurry today, mostly failed tried all the different settings... 😂

Hey Tony, first off, amazing video! I love all you work and follow you regularly. However, Class D airspace is not common as is Class G airspace and requires authorization prior to flight or a waiver. Also, your registration number must be visible, putting it inside the battery compartments is not within compliance. Once again. great work!

At one point you demonstrate how a faster shutter speed yields a sharper video when the P4P is moving, but in your later ND filter segment you say something like "ND filters let me use the slower shutter speeds like 30fps, which I prefer." Please clarify.
Also, do you cover prop shadows in any of your videos? 3D Solo users employ ND filters to lower the GoPro's shutter speed specifically to eliminate visible artifacts from the props. But it stands to reason that a lower shutter speed will introduce motion blur when doing camera moves.
And thank you for a wonderful video. I agree with the many positive comments here!

knowing your RC background I'm kinda surprised you didn't think of "port wine" coloring. We also used to put stripes on the underside of wings so that they formed an arrow pointing to the nose. In the case of the drone I think that would be too hard to see. I know the drone has lights but those clearly are not easily able to be seen. so, paint the landing gear and outer 1/3(?) of underside the "port wine" configuration and you should be able to easily know its orientation.

I hear you, clearly there is no place for such markings, that wasn't the statement. I don't think anyone confuses a drone with a RC aircraft which are used extensively used for stunts and precision flying.

Don't you have to calibrate before you take off?
