You were in my stomping grounds. I’m a volunteer in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. Were you trying to get to Buck Rock Lookout? That’s the closest one to Sequoia National Park. We actually have three lookouts…Buck Rock, Park Ridge, and Delilah. We try to open them by Memorial Day weekend but that all depends on the amount of snow and road conditions. I have several videos of Park Ridge and Buck Rock Lookouts on my channel. Let me know if you’d like a behind the scenes tour sometime.
