My intent wasn't to spread conjecture but to start a conversation and share my personal experiences. Appreciate your feedback and for watching the channel!
It wasn't that it was that we were like 100 yards from the guy and he was bench checking his rifle. He actually had a cool setup with like a video camera (or maybe his phone) connected to his spotting scope. His target was setup on the other side of the creek.
@@dustyroaddestinations so why present it as a potential safety issue and that you had to move as a result? Did we almost get assassinated? Explosions? Sniper Rifle? Hey there, this is the first video I've seen from your channel and I just wanted to compliment it- this is some awesome content with some really breathtaking shots. However, I would like to echo the concerns of other commenters who mentioned your take on the sNipEr RifLE and explosions. I'm sure the goal is click bait, and I get it from the perspective of you as a content creator. I would just like to encourage you to reconsider it is a tactic in the future, or to at least be careful with your verbiage, as this sort of sentiment can have very real ramifications when it riles up the anti 2A crowd and policy makers. Even though you have been clear in your respect for the use of firearms in national forest and yada yada in your responses to other concerned parties, there will be some loonies whose takeaway from this will be that someone was shooting full auto explosive sniper rounds at you and your buddy. Not being interested in camping near someone shooting a loud rifle is totally reasonable, even to die hard hunters and firearms enthusiasts- just the portrayal of it in your video is a smudge on something that was otherwise great. Thank you for sharing this, this lookout that I didn't know about it now high on my list of places I would like to visit, hopefully as soon as next week. Also, I've gone ahead and heeded the cow's order to subscribe!
