Awesome video as always Bill and Deb. Sometimes it's the short couple of days trips that find the most spectacular places. My go to sandwiches are fried egg and ham or good old fried bologna mustard and cheese.
Thanks! Can't go wrong with a fried bologna sandwich.
Those rock formations are amazing! Some look man made.
Beautiful scenery 👍👍
Thanks! It is a beautiful area.
What an incredible area 😮
I'm adding this to my quick weekend trips!!! What a great video!
Thanks, It's very scenic.
Great video. Thanks for sharing the beauty of our state.
Thank you for watching!
Wow, your drone filming has really improved. Looks like a great trip!!! Glad see the two of you enjoying life!!!
Thanks, we truly are enjoying every moment.
I’ve been through the Stearns District of the Daniel Boone National Forest once. Amazing rock formations all over! Now I’ve got to check out the Redbird district. Thanks for the upload 💯👍
Thanks for following along.
Look at that beautiful trailer!
😁
A fried spam sandwich with eggs, cheese, and mushrooms on garlic butter toasted buns is my favorite breakfast food lol.
That sounds good!
It is.@@CoddiwompleOverland
Looked like a great trip!
It definitely was.
Looked like a good trip. The camping spot was awesome. We looked at the Mission Overland trailer. We wanted to like it. That back door design and loss of space due to the angled back end (for the departure angle) we’re deal breakers for us.
It was a great trip. It's a great camper, but we also understand it's not for everyone.
That looked to be another nice area to explore in the DBNF. This year we plan on the the DBBB, as time ran out last year. Great video.
Thanks, this is a beautiful area of the Daniel Boone National Forest.
We will be out there in early May so it should be very green.
Great set up!
Thank you!
awesome drone shots!
Thanks!
Great video. Great crash and recovery. Beautiful scenery.

😅
Thanks for another great video!
Thanks for watching Bennie!
It's kind of cold still isn't it? I'm in Ohio and it was in the high 40's today but it gets cold at night. I used to rock climb down there around Slade. I'm too old for that stuff now.
I need to take my Xterra down there this year!!
Same here highs in the 40's. Low's from high 20's to 30's. The camper has a great heater.
Great video! Question i want to take my boys on that trail and camp and we have a stock f150 4x4 . Do you think we would have any issues making it thru? Thanks!
You should be fine.
Love the vid! What rd is the rock formation off of at minute 18? Thanks!
I'll have to pull it up on a map and see if I can find it.
@@CoddiwompleOverlandmuch appreciated! I frequent the area for rock climbing. The rock there is excellent quality!
If you just have an idea of the road during the first segment that would be helpful. Looks like the remaining roads were Grannies Branch and Gilbert's Creek/Sugar Creek. Thanks!
We are currently on the Mojave Trail in California with limited service. You can get the full route on our patreon if you need it right away.

@ subscribed! Thank you!
Any problems with getting the factory trailer electrical bumper connection wet? Trailer brakes work ok wet? We pull a Cruiser Hitch 17BHS with our stock22Max Tow and haven't gotten that far off the beaten path.
We have been this deep a few times with trailers and have never had any issues with the trailer electrical connection or the brakes
Nothing wrong with bologna sandwich 🥪, simple and no cleanup
You are right!
You've had the SmartCap for a few years now, have you had any issues with it?
Not since we redid the seals and tightened all of the fasteners
@@CoddiwompleOverland Thanks. Looking to get the EVO sport so I can put my dogs in the back and not have them ruin my gladiator like they did my F150 lol
Got ya!
What are you guys using for navigation? I’m sure GPS must be a bit hit and miss. Are using GAIA online or offline, cell service, WIFI ? I’m curious about navigating in some places you guys go. Thank you
Sorry but one more question. Do you guys carry a SATPHONE for emergencies?
We use an IPad with Gaia GPS. The iPad has its own data plan and we normally download the maps of where we are going for offline use. We use a ZOLEO satellite communication device for emergencies and texting while out of cell range
@@CoddiwompleOverland THANK YOU!!!!!! Finally got an answer!! I appreciate that!!!
Your welcome!
Muddy!
Yea, just a little
😂😂😂 Bill, that's the first time that you have crashed the Avata isn't it?
No! I've crashed it several times just never show it.😂
@@CoddiwompleOverland 🤣
😂🤦♂️
Will my stock Jeep Willy’s gladiator make it thru this?
Yes it will
I didn't notice anything about this trip that would make me think that you couldn't.
Nothing hard at all.
where is Kelly and the power wagon?
He is doing other things now.
Famous last words It don't look to deep, lol well for me anyway
🤣
