Well hi there! There is some really cool content in the bloopers for this video, so be sure to stick around until the very end. You will not be disappointed!
Clint, you always introduce me to new reptiles/amphibians to put on my wishlist, and honestly, it's a blessing and a curse. . . Love you're channel, and congratulations on the 100k subs!
Can't get anything in Australia cos they banned all non-native reptiles. Most animals in general are banned. They even sell Aus animals in the USA which you can not buy here.
I just wanted to say, that since you posted this video 7+ months ago, this has been my dream species of gecko... And tomorrow I get to pick up a little baby of my own!!! Thank you for introducing me to such a unique and special gecko.
I honestly have never heard of the chameleon gecko. But now I think I fell in love (: Love your videos and extra level in care you teach. Most channels just say here is a gecko. You say Here is a awesome gecko and what it needs. Thank you
As a person who keeps a pair of these guys, probably the most important part is to include a ton of small twigs and branches from about the diameter of their body to twice it, I have never seen mine on the ground and they rarely climb on the plants, so branches are a necessity. Random twigs and branches from trees work very well as long as you disinfect them. They may mold over time, but if you have springtails and keep an eye on the branches you should be find. You could also use bamboo pieces, but keep in mind that they sometimes have difficulty gripping onto those.
My 7 year old daughter and I love your videos. You are so funny but incredibly educated. Thank you for videos that both of us can enjoy, we have learned so much and have a great appreciation for reptiles now.
I love chameleon geckos I have a trio of Bauer's chameleon geckos and I've only had them for 5 months now and they're the best pet geckos anyone could get
The whole time watching the beginning of this video I was saying to myself "wow these are so cool, if they don't drop their tails I might have to consider one" and then you said that they don't voluntarily drop their tails 😃 Tail-dropping is something I've always found unappealing in lizards, and these guys have really cute eyes too.
I have never heard of these before. I love the eyes, the markings and their sound. The eyes make me think of something very mystical and the markings are very cool. the sound they make however reminds me of a baby gator or crocodile calling it's mother. This looks like another Magical reptile.
I got one of those now and I’m in love! My guy is just so friendly and curious. I see him active both morning and night, never really hiding so I’m sure would benefit from uvb.
Loving the improvements we are helping with! So glad your list of subscribers and later in supporters keeps growing so you guys can keep up with the great videos ❤
Trying to round up those escaped stickyfeet is 10x harder when they like to bite. I've got a pic of my Tokay on my ceiling and the bloody aftermath of a hard fought battle. :D I love him so much.
I have no pets, but my brother started reptile keeping. He got a young pair of these guys about a year ago and got his first two babies from the pair in the fall. He just let me hold the mother, and it was a great experience. I've watched enough of your videos to copy your technique in the moment, and it went really well. The gecko and I were both very calm through the whole experience.
They are freaking amazing. Now I'm going to have to expedite getting a bigger place so I can add to my scaley family! These guys would make a perfect addition 😍🥰
Eurydactyloides!! That's such a beautiful sounding name. I've always had a soft spot for geckos (pun intended) Edit : Oh oops EurydactylOdes. Still a pretty name
Awesome video as always Clint! Just so everyone knows, I work at a reptile pet store called cold blooded and bizarre in north Carolina and we usually carry them! We breed these little guys ourselves! They are great pets!
Clint I love your videos dude. I am wondering though, have you thought about doing a top 5 prehistoric reptile video or something? I'd love to see what you think of something like the titanboa.
Just got my first reptile ever, and I'm so glad I picked one of these little guys. My boy Tofu is such a goofy little man, and he's so cute I wanna cry😢😢 I was also lucky enough to have a local breeder produce my lil man!! So glad I found these little guys!!! Edit: Tofu is, in fact, a girl. Woopsie!
@@xprafa so sorry I didn't see this😭😭 I paid $150 for mine as a 5-ish month old, and it was from a local breeder. The cheapest I saw was around $100 and that was for a rehomed adult on morphmarket. They tend to be a bit pricier because they aren't super common in the pet trade. As far as I could tell I got very lucky with my girl Tofu Edit: it's also worth noting that because I found a local breeder, I was able to pick up my Tofu at a reptile expo rather than having to ship her, which made the whole thing considerably cheaper than it could've been. I imagine that shipping these guys isn't exactly cheap
Was busy rewatching your black and white Argentine tegu video (I love Gus Gus) when I got the notification for this. I have a massive soft spot for geckos and these guys look awazing.
Excellent video Clint! I got the opportunity to handle one of these a few years ago when They were less common in the hobby. I was interested then...even more intrigued now!
I learned about geckos when I went to Hawaii. They were all over the walls and ceilings of my cousin's house. It was so cool. They made the cutest little chirping noises. It's an everyday thing that have geckos on your walls inside your house in Hawaii. Because most walls and windows are made out of screen.
Hey Clint, I would love to see a head-to-head between the Children's Python and the Western Hognose. I am just torn between the two for my next reptile and would like to see your balanced comparison of the two! Also congratulations on 100k you guys deserve it! Cheers!
My chameleon geckos are the apples of my eye. They are so incredibly trusting and social for geckos the size of your thumb! They love to climb out onto your hand and hang out with you (though of course you have to be extremely careful with them. Imagine they are an affectionate insect! 😂)
So far this is the only animal that I've never seen before on your channel (which is amazing!). It looks like a Green Anole mixed with a Chewie... with a velvet gecko tail. I love it! Side note: anyone curious in the streak-free formula in gecko saliva? /s. 😅
Well hi there! There is some really cool content in the bloopers for this video, so be sure to stick around until the very end. You will not be disappointed!
Need to add appropriate music for it lol. Another great episode, thank you.
Those geckos small
Love your channel
It’s impressive how loud they are
Clint's Reptiles I’m a new subscriber I am soon getting my first lizard is a crested gecko a good one to start with?
Clint’s reptiles, speaks like Bob Ross, behaves like Mr. Rodgers, and teaches like Bill Nye.
I'm very happy with all of that!
but bill nye pretends to be a scientist but he's an engineer
the 4 horsemen of wholesome education
*Mr. Rogers, no "D" in his surname.
Riceball01 my bad
Finally, a chameleon that i actually have the ability to care for
Much easier than chameleons.
Lol
You should get one !
"...they're mocking the chameleon.." *DEAD*
And they can't even say anything in their own defense...
@@ClintsReptiles 🤣😂
Also is it just me or does Clint seem like the Bob Ross of lizards
I hear that rather often, and it always makes me smile. "What a happy little gecko."
He IS the Bob Ross of reptiles.
@@ClintsReptiles and you have a really calming Voice, not only are your videos informative, they also bring me down. 😃
OMG now that you mention it I literally see the resemblance😃

Too much reptile knowledge often leads to a basement full of reptiles...
I know I'm always asking it drives my mum through the roof 😂😂ha

0:28 the pupil of the eye looks like a cloud💚
Cute
Kind of reminds me of the split in the clouds a Hollow makes when entering earth realm from Bleach. I know, I'm a nerd.
I was thinking it looks like a set of teeth about to chomp down but sideways 😬

How is it going with your chameleon gecko now two years in??
Well arent these just the smolest little dragons i've ever seen

I have one and there great
great pet ,
Space they’re awesome! One of my friends has one, he’s so sweet
Gecko: licks it eye*
Clint: its the coolest
It has the body shape of a salamander, the raised back of a chameleon and the head and scales of a new Caledonian gecko.
