To put in hybrid easier with mine just pull down the gear selector twice when starting and it’ll put it into hybrid without having to go through all the screens.
Doesn't that just put it in Sport and Sport mode is likelier to engage the fuel engine? I'll have a look... I often go to the battery mode and notice it's on Hybrid already and I didn't know why. Maybe that's why...
@@takumifujiwara1502 not exactly, it comes from the so called "Soundaktor", that is placed just below the front windscreen. Is a resonator, not a proper speaker. And it doesn't sound that good, I agree, but not even that bad like in video :D
what happens when you ran out of power in the batteries? does it go out? can it regenerate? how does that work? i would imagine it does somehow and not be stranded on a drive with just 150 hp from the 1.4 TSI
Having owned a Cupra for almost two years, I must say it's a miserable car to own. The Cupra Leon plug-in hybrid is so disappointing that I will never consider buying a Cupra again. My vehicle is plagued by software issues and has proven to be an extremely unsatisfactory experience. The efficiency in battery mode falls far below expectations. Even with extremely conservative driving, I can hardly achieve 40 kilometers - that's a third less than the WLTP standard promises.

@@lt6717 yes it puts the car in sport mode. But still uses both efficiently so still get great economy figures out of it.

its actually a sound generator for the interiour. The 1.4 liter sound like a normal seat engine, nothing sporty about it

It has a 1.4 petrol engine. If the battery runs out of power, it automatically switches to the petrol engine. It's very seamless so you barely notice

yes it is. You can use the drive profiles and turn off the sound.
