    I used a metal scrubber to clean the engine of the crud. And used black gasket maker. Works. Nice video helped me along.

    I got a 2000 to trying to change the water pump on mine that fan will not move at all all it does is spin the fan and the belt and the motor spins over so what I'm going to do is buy another fan another clutch another water pump I am not fighting with it

    Thanks for your help. It turned out to be easier than I thought. The advice to place the bolts directly into the new water pump was excellent. It saved me some heart ache.

    How much coolant did you need to get for it? I need to do this but don’t know how much I need

      I usually just get a gallon of unmixed global coolant for everything. 2 gallons fills just about anything, with a little left over.

      @@RustBeltAuto i know my water pump.is different, im just hoping i can do it without having to remove the compressor and alternator, the way you did it in the video is great!! Just hoping its somewhat similar

      If your talk about a 5.9 cummins, that water pump is super easy I did mine in less than a half hour.

    All mine does is spend the whole belt in Austin's that fan will not come off at all
