Love the paint scheme of this T33, that contrasting yellow band on the fuselage makes orientation easier. Only bug bear are the aileron horns are on the bottom surface of the wing, its a belly lander - put them on the top. They will eventually get damaged if your flying field is not pristine. 4s all the way! I would launch it by holding fuselage behind wings and throwing it up and forwards. My first 50mm EDF was an A6 Intruder. I would love to see Arrows make this jet available too!
An underarm launch might work too - I tend to catch the tail on the back of my pants doing this though. The finger grips work OK, but a grip behind the wings is much more comfortable.
@@ScaleMeDown another thing I noted are the horns and clevis’ look a bit weak. Sky Angels were notoriously thin and brittle. Banana Hobby Viper Jet had much beefier and robust ones. Hope they can follow-up on that, perhaps plastic hinges too but you could easily mod those before the maiden.
@@etops.flight They seem fine to me - considering the tiny lightweight nature of these models No complaints yet with the foam hinges either. If they crack in the future I might mod them, but happy so far
Wish you a happy new year 2025. I have them all. And crashed them and fixed them. The CG is crucial. My newest is the BAE Hawk with gyro. Maidened in 31.12.24. Beautiful and very fast with 4S, fast out of sight! 😂
The more recent ones such as the L-39 do come with it (although this makes them a bit more expensive), so I think Arrows Hobby are listening to our comments. Glad you enjoyed the video. L39 review is here; ua-cam.com/video/QKN4tky_lCs/v-deo.html
It’s a fun little edf. I bought both 50mm’s from Arrows. I was stunned that the T-33 is the better of the two. Not that there’s anything wrong with the Bae Hawk, it’s that the T-33 handles better.
@@ScaleMeDown Arrows’ little viper and marlin got me over my fear of edf’s. I’d recommend all 4 to anyone wanting to try a jet, but not want to risk an expensive crash.
This is very good! And im searching how to start my new RC flight experience in UK, because i just a newbie without any idea for the RC flight. Ok, question is....what and how to start my Journey?
ya know I have always wanted a small size, but not quite UMX EDF that fly's nice and slow with a nice easy roll rate, that would be perfect for learning to fly EDF's, because honestly the E-flite F-15 is a handful. I can't believe the perfect jet finally came out and once I finish learning my F4U this will be my next buy! P.S.: Great review!
@@ScaleMeDown I've got a DTXMX Flysky FS-i6X 10CH Radio Transmitter and Receiver FS-iA10B 2.4G RC Controller will this work for it I've got it kind of setup but the right side wing isn't responding
@@kingsolo303 Hi, I don't use FlySky myself, so can't be completely sure, however the kit comes with a 'y' lead for the ailerons. Ensure that the plugs and sockets are all the correct way round (wires connected white to white, red to red, black to black) on all 3 ends of the y lead. Check which way round the plugs are inserted into the receiver. If you are using separate channels for each surface the problem will be with the model setup in the transmitter
Great job and nice video. Do you want to get some centerburner apply in your 50mm EDF jet for your review ? Please inform your email address for contact , thanks.
Thanks. Yes, I would love to review a centre burner. We dabble with EDFs of various sizes (these are 55mm, the F-18 super Hornet we built is 70mm, and in 2022 we are building a 105mm EDF Gripen). We are at scalemedown@yahoo.co.uk, and you can find us on facebook also.
Very good review! I can't wait to fly mine.
Thanks. You will love flying yours. We also did a bling upgrade for ours here; ua-cam.com/video/of37L3i81Uo/v-deo.html
Great flight, was on the rails from every hand toss. 👍🏻
Thanks. It goes particularly straight from a launch behind the wings.
What a fab little model and a great, informative review!
Awesome review guys. Keep them coming!
No problem. Glad you like the review.

Good review of this little T-33.
AirHammer out!!
Thanks dude

It's weird how the UK models don't come with Vector. It isn't needed, but it's very helpful to launch it.

I wonder why Arrows made the wing flat or even slightly anhedral? The fulls size had a bit of dihedral for stability. Seems stable enough though.
Not sure. Yes, super stable in flight.
Really enjoyed the review , I think I prefer this to the Hawk , of course an F104 Star Fighter would be heaven
Thanks. I hope they bring out an L-39

great review I went with the hawk and bought the vector stabilization for an extra £15
Thanks. Glad you liked it. Did the stabilization make a big difference ?

Thank You❤
Does anybody know of some good current market fixed landing gear to mod this jet with??? i really want to do wheel landings with mine

Hi, welcome to a wonderful hobby. Start by joining the British Model Flying Association (BMFA) and find a club local to you.
CAN YOU USE 4S 1500mah 120c battery in T 33
That battery should be fine. There is slightly more space in the battery bay in the T-33 compared with the BAe Hawk from this range
. Could be Delivery to Canada???.
Thanks a lot
I assume you can get them in Canada. Try your local hobby shop 🙂

It looks great but for what it is the price is way to high
I don't think they are too bad, our local model shop does them for £133 www.stevewebb.co.uk/index.php?pid=ARR019P&area=Aircraft
Absolutely high priced. Motion RC's entire line of 64mm EDFs are between $109 and $129, making this plane at $160 too expensive for what it is.
What’s up with the clown music?
The music during the build portion is from the Nutcracker Suite by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky
