Just ordered the microphone for my AKASO Brave 7LE. I’ve had it for over 2 years now and have always hated the audio quality. So glad that they have an external microphone for it now.
HI, Great videos. I purchased a Brave 7 with external mic partly because I was impressed with your review of the 7le. In trying to use the external mic I have been unable to locate a setting for microphone. I know it's not plug and play as I tried that. AKASO customer service and tech support is virtually nonexistent. I continue to get bots that ask for photo's of the problem. Interestingly, the phone # for customer service takes me to a message that says try again later no matter what time of day I call. Any thoughts as to how I can get the microphone to work. Since you influenced my decision to buy this I figure its only fair to share my experience and ask if you have any insights. Thanks, Mark
I would suggest the AKASO brand mic. Personally, I haven’t had a chance to purchase and test any others and it works really well. Oh and thanks for watching and the question.
I have this camera and I bought the mic but it didn't give audio and it is akaso mic bought from Amazon I don't know if that has anything to do with it. And no option in camera to change from internal to external firmware fully upgraded
@@TheBeardedOutdoorsman18 Yep,took it out on my roadbike,shot 30 minutes of vids,pics were ehhh,sunday shore ride on my sportbike,I also just got the GoPro 11 & the menu is larger than the Akaso,more learning curve but I have it all down,couldnt figure why some features were missing but then I just reset & every option showed up,gonna use both this week,gonna use the Akaso in the pool this week,overall really like the Akaso,its simpler to use ,the GoPro 12 is coming out in September
I'm looking at external batteries for my Brave 7. I wish the camera gave some sort of audible warning when the battery is low. Last month I thought I had recorded a 10 minute fight with a steelhead only to find out the battery was dead.@Fishingwithfaithoutdoors23

You click settings one the screen again inside the first settings.. I had the same issue. Took me a bit to find it.

It is the micro, but you can also do the type c with an adapter.
What mount do I use to install camera on head strap or chest strap safely without the waterproof case because I want to use the external microphone
Your camera should have come with housing that the camera just slides in. Which camera do you have?

The V50X should have a tripod mount built in the bottom. You should have gotten attachments in the box to attach it to the strap.

My mic is got a lot of back buzz. How you get that to go away?
Maybe double check to make sure it is plugged in all the way and the port is clean.
