Hey Everyone! Today I'll be review three fragrances that were sent to me for free from Navitus Parfums. Navitus was also kind enough to send a discovery set for me to show you that they will also be giving away to one lucky winner! See below for giveaway details and rules. I own Creme Imperiale and its lovely. It does remind me of br540's distant cousin though.
Love The Embrace! I think UA-camrs care more about their fragrance than celebrity frags. Have yet to meet a celebrity fragrance that smells luxurious and expensive!

"Tears" is the common nomenclature for the clumps (granules, nuggets) of tree sap (resin) that is collected from the Boswellia tree. It's frankincense. This is typically how we get Frankincense. Frankincense tears = Frankincense nuggets. Think of how a resin drips and how it might solidify while slowly dripping - it's a tear shape. Pretty much saying "Frankincense tears" is just saying frankincense but with an extra word to make it sound special when it really isn't. Next level...Olibanum is frankincense. Same same. So it all just depends on how fancy the brand and copywriter wants to get.

Signed up for their newsletter and I’m subscribed. So I think Arcanum sounds the most interesting and coolest to me. Slightly gourmand and oud…resinous. Yes. Thanks for the review!
FYI -frankincense is a resin , and the drops that ooze from the trunk are referred to as tears .

Great vid Tara. NOT TOO FAMILAR WITH THE HOUSE I tried sour exclusief and that is one I do want to own. It reminds me like having a chai latte somewhere….almost in a poetry club //spoken words place …I do want to try ancarum too and look to own those 2 and stevens newer one Empereal soon.
ALSO Cream imperial was another I want to get my hands on shortly

Of the 3 travel size, Arcanum sounds really nice.

Tears are just the little pieces of gum that are released from the plant.
I've signed up for that mailing list a bunch of times 😂 tbh I was interested in Arcanum since it dropped. I am drawn to its notes and the coloration of the bottle. Excellent overview of these!

I've been looking for a way to break into Navitus Parfums, and this has sealed the deal for me! While it might not be your favorite, I'm a sucker for Ambergris, so Soir Exclusif sounds like a perfect fit for me. I can't wait to test it out!

Thanks for your great videos, very inspiring and honest. I have blindly got three bottles just cause you gave great reviews. One cost me few days of research but I finally got it. Arcanum is very appealing , the notes are very favourites to me. I have subscribed to the newsletters for the give away and I am in one of the allowed countries. I’ve been on their mailing list for a bit and recently went on a splurge. I agree, The Embrace is fantastic and made for gourmand and almond lovers….my ultimate combination. I bought a travel size of Soir Exclusif and as it’s also an almond fragrance, I love. However, it’s pretty identical to PDM Pegasus, which I have. I think it’s great to give people the ability to show their passion. It’s not going to be a hit for everyone because we all have different tastes but I think they’ve done an amazing job. Like you mentioned, no one is going to put their name in something they’re not proud of and furthermore, they’re working with well known perfumers. I haven’t been disappointed in the house and look forward to sampling what comes next! Thx for the video.

I get the news letter ! I’ve smelled Soir Exclusif before and have been DYING for a full bottle! It’s a holy grail for me and lasts forever. I would love love love to smell the others as well!!!! I agree they lean masculine. I purchased Absolutio for myself because I loved the notes, but it leaned too masculine for me so I passed it along to my boyfriend. Love the way it smells on him!
I'm totally guilty of being the guy who writes off these UA-cam brands. I got Mr. Smelly's fragrances and do like them a lot. As you point out these content creators are all working with really great noses who are using great ingredients to make the fragrances, so I should perhaps open my mind. Especially as the big brands seem to be hesitant to introduce new scents during this pandemic, opting for safe flankers instead. Thanks for the reviews and opinions.

When Stephen launched the brand, I sampled 2, Absolutio and initio. They weren't for me, Dev liked them. There are a few I'd like to smell, though.

I actually managed to get a decent decant of Arcanum off a buddy a while ago. Very decadent scent. Enjoy the way Jorge did the incense in that one. Haven't tried the others though! Most interested to try The Embrace. 🤗 Also the fragrance. Signed up ages ago! Ps, Monica's last name pronounced 'ch-yohhh' - one syllable, a short 'o' (that doesn't actually exist in english, but closest to the "o" in open, but without closing the lips - basically the first half of a long "o") and an 'h' as in 'hello'. Ch-yoh. Cioch. In Polish, "ci" is pronounced "chi" and "ch" just "h". Confusing, I know. But that's the lesson for today! Brought to you by spoons. Spoons! 🥄 The...metal dealies...you use to...dig...food. Lyzki in polish. When you wish for ki. Yeah, good luck. 🤣

@@Xena395 I agree it’s not a one size fit all that’s why I was saying with the sample kit I can smell them all and make a decision. I think you may have misunderstood me. I certainly have my own style and my own mind…wow…was suppose to a fun exchange went very wrong…smh
