Hey Everyone! Today I'm sharing my Top 10 Male Marketed Fragrances that I think are great for anyone, regardless of gender! I always wear what smells good to me regardless of marketing, and I hope you do as well! These are just some of my recommendations that women may have overlooked because they are typically found in the "men's" section. Love Pi - it is on the lighter side. My husband didn't dig it so it's on my shelf now. 😊 He kept Noir Extreme. Straight to Heaven is gorgeous! It was love st first sniff. Same with Replica and Fat Electrician (what a name! 🤣).
Hey Tara! I would say that Guerlain L'homme Ideal EDP could work for women. Someone once told me that there's a strong similarity between that and La Petite Robe Noir or Black Perfecto(I forget which but one of those 2). On the flip side, I think that Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Femme can worn by men. I'm picking up a bottle soon.
Yes! I have a decant of that one and agree. Really like it. The Gucci is one I was also thinking would be great for men!

Givenchy PI is a very good one. If you would turn it around then Sarah Jessica Parker stash is a very good one for men. I believe that you can wear what you want, it depends on the mood. Great video!

Chypre Palatin by MDCI is my favorite male-targeted fragrance. Great video, Tara!
I like a few from the ones you've mentioned: Dior Homme parfum, Tom Ford Noir and Noir extreme for him, PDM Herod and also Layton, Jazz Club. I also like Oud wood and Ombre leather, but I think those are marketed unisex and Boundless from Amouage.

After watching your video, I pulled out my sample of Fat Electrician for the first time. Wow!!! Vetiver scares me a little because I always think it’s masculine, but this fragrance is so, so good. Thanks for the rec.

Many vetiver fragrances are marketed to men and many are worn by me. The only vetiver I know of and have that is aimed towards women is Vetyver from Chantecaille and it’s like the many others I have or have smelled. Love this video!
Awesome video Tara. Great selections. Not sure if you’ve tried or considered it but Cartier Pasha Edition Noire kind if is in line with a la Nuit d L’HOMME but with out cardamom & instead violet ….also a little like DHI because there’s iris….It’s a woody aromatic but has some amber in there.
Overall it falls in line with the La Nuit,DHI,Code,Valentino uomo’s of the world . Some women do prefer it on a man more but from what I’ve gotten ,they had no problem wearing it themselves either. Still inmacys and other department stores to try. But also can be had for less through the discounters . The discounters are starting to dry up for full presentation though as of late . If I had one to recommend it would be that

Love this video, I like a lot of spicy and woody male fragrance too. Love jazz club and spicebomb. Can’t pull off Dior homme, too strong for me… I have been loving penhaligon’s terrible teddy lately.
If I had to recommend I'd go with Body Kouros, it has benzoin and eucalyptus. It is similar to Phat Electrician, for vetiver and vanilla see eucalyptus and benzoin

I love Ombré Leather by Tom Ford. Even though it is marketed towards men, I believe that it is very unisex.

I love wearing "pour homme" perfumes, here's my faves:
M by Puredistance, Oud for Greatness Initio, Terre d'Hermes, Encre Noire Lalique, Egoiste Chanel. I agree with u - Herod PdM is 😍(Layton is great too). Then Terror & Magnificence by Beaufort is great. Roja's Reckless pour Homme. And my favorite is Green Irish Tweed ❤️❤️❤️

Great lineup of fragrances. Love to see Zaharoff- Business over pleasure getting love. Both my wife and I wear it, my favorite out of zed creators. And another one from the house is the Rose’. Great unisex rose scent

Like all fragrances 😜 also I didn't know that Straight to Heaven was marketed by Kilian themselves as just got men? I know sometimes the names or the imaginary they use can lead a certain direction but I don't think they specifically aim them at either. You do have incredible taste tho 🙂 looking forward to the other video
I think they just rereleased uomo intense. Changed the bottle a little, but I don’t know if the scent has changed slightly.

I have 2 male marketed fragrances: A*Men OG and Rochas Man. Not sure if the original Mugler Cologne was gendered, but that's a definite favorite, too. Yes, Tara, please do a video of female marketed fragrances that are unisex (that'd be most of what the Boy wears).

Really wish more women would wear masculine targeted scents. Fruity florals were never my thing. Fahrenheit Parfum on the other hand... 🤤 ♫ I wanna know what love izzzzzz...♫ 🎸
I would love to see this list in reverse.. i love wearing no 19 .. habanita.. bandit.. azuree.. shalimar .. mitsouku. As far as the mens side of things women could wear Lyric man by Amouage is beautiful on a woman.. but conversely lyric woman is beautiful on a man.. i think Amouage is playing tricks on us with that release IMO

Spicebomb is beautiful - it smells like sugar free cinnamon rolls
John Varvatos Artisan Pure is totally genderless...it's a bitter lime scent and I was shocked it was marked to men when I first smelled it. Artisan Pure really led me down the men's cologne rabbit hole but I find that Artisan Pure is the rare exception, not the rule. I find almost all men's cologne to be too strong and masculine.

I love boozy scents so much that I've got inspired to order samples of jazz club, herod, by the fireplace and straight to heaven. Was curious about those anyways, I almost never drink alcohol, so it's funny that I love boozy scents. I don't like oajan, so, I wonder if I'd like -the unisex- angels' share and I'd like to know how similar is angels' share to apple brandy, which I have and like but there is no comparison video about.
it's time to end gendered fragrances. smells are like colours, if you know what I mean. I love vetiver, it's super calming to me, guerlain vetiver, terre d'hermes (edt, eau givreé, vetiver intense), encre noire. love spicebomb extreme too, this is him! from zadig&voltaire, prada l'homme, valentino uomo intense, dior homme intense, gentleman reserve priveé and boisé (can't get enough iris), ombre noire (lalique), toy boy, declaration d'un soir (cartier), habit rouge (guerlain), monsieur (goutal), ambre fetiche (goutal), eau des baux (l'occitane), dior homme cologne, oud&spice (acqua di parma), so many!! the closest I can get to a signature fragrance is declaration edt from cartier, just love, love, love it during warm/hot weather. I didn't know jazz club was male targeted, been using it for a couple of years now. we need a part 2. so many great fragrances are overlooked by one gender or the other due to this gendered marketing
